Camila Cabello reunites with Ali Tamposi for new collaboration

Camila Cabello has reunited with Ali Tamposi for a new collaboration.

Tamposi previously co-wrote “Havana” for Cabillo alongside Starrah, Pharrell Williams, Brian Lee, Andrew Watt, Louis Bell, and Frank Dukes. The Young Thung-featuring track topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Tamposi’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Rita Ora (“Only Want You”), Beyonce (“Save the Hero”), Justin Bieber (“Let Me Love You”), Selena Gomez (“It Ain’t Me”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Let Me Go”), Demi Lovato (“Never Been Hurt”) and Kelly Clarkson (“What Doesn’t Kill You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello’s sophomore album – featuring further contributions from Amy Wadge and Sam Romans – is expected to arrive later this year via Syco Music / Epic Records.

Cabello also appears on the track “Find U Again,” taken from Mark Ronson’s upcoming fifth studio collection, “Late Night Feelings,” which will drop on June 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Mabel announces title, release date, tracklisting for debut album

Mabel has announced the details for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter has dubbed her first studio collection “High Expectations” and will release it on July 12 via Polydor Records.

Current promotional single “Don’t Call Me Up” – which was co-written by Camille “Kamille” Purcell and produced by Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Besides confirmed collaborators Marlon Roudette and Kelly Kiara, the highly-anticipated anticipated project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Fraser T. Smith, Jin Jin, Electric, Negin Djafari, Cass Lowe, Pawws, Jonny Coffer, Olivia Deano, Bless Beats, Amy Wadge, Oscar Scheller, and TMS.

Cuban-American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello has teamed up with Amy Wadge and Sam Romans for a new collaboration.

Besides previously co-penning “Consequences” for Cabello alongside Emily Weisband and Nicolle Galyon, Wadge’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Ed Sheeran (“Thinking Out Loud”), Keith Urban (“Parallel Line”), John Legend (“By Christman Eve”), Kacey Musgraves (“Wonder Woman”), Lukas Graham (“You’re Not the Only One”) and Kylie Minogue (“Rollin'”).

Meanwhile, Romans is responsible for co-writing Craig David’s “Heartline,” Mary J. Blige’s “Doubt,” Demi Lovato’s “Sober,” Justine Skye’s “Don’t Think About It,” Little Mix’s “Down and Dirty,” AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control,” Noah Cyrus’s “I’m Stuck,” and Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring further contributions from Mark Ronson, Ilsey Juber, and Jordan Reynolds – is expected to arrive later this year via Syco Music / Epic Records.

Cabello’s debut studio collection, 2018’s “Camila,” topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Havana,” “Never Be the Same,” “Real Friends” and “Consequences.”

John Legend enlists Scott Storch, Sick Drumz for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter and record producer John Legend has enlisted Scott Storch and Sick Drumz for a new collaboration.

As part of music production team Twice As Nice, Sick Drumz (born Te Whiti Warbrick) has helmed songs for Rihanna (“Needed Me”), Post Malone (“Big Lie”), Camila Cabello (“In the Dark”), R3hab (“Rumors”), Ty Dolla Sign (“Wavy”), Ella Mai (“Breakfast in Bed”), Raye (“Cigarette”) and Ella Vos (“I Know You Care”).

Meanwhile, Storch is responsible for producing Beyonce’s “Naughty Girl,” Chris Brown’s “Undecided,” Kelly Rowland’s “Work,” Mario’s “Let Me Love You,” Christina Aguilera’s “Can’t Hold Us Down,” Justin Timberlake’s “And She Said (Take Me Now),” Toni Braxton’s “Please,” and Ricky Martin’s “I Don’t Care.”

Legend’s latest album “A Legendary Christmas” – featuring contributions from Ruth-Anne Cunningham (“No Place Like Home”), Raphael Saadiq (“Merry Merry Christmas”), Amy Wadge (“By Christmas Eve”) and Wayne Hector (“Wrap Me Up in Your Love”) – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

For his upcoming studio collection, Legend has worked with Warren “Oak” Felder (Usher), Dan Wilson (Taylor Swift), Raye (Ellie Goulding), Mr. Hudson (Janelle Monae), Max Wolfgang (Craig David), Sasha Sloan (Camila Cabello), Nasri Atweh (Justin Bieber) and Cutfather (Katy Perry).

British singer/songwriter Mahalia Burkmar, known mononymously as Mahalia, has drafted fellow recording artist Sam Dew for a new collaboration.

Dew’s songwriting resume boasts works with Kelela (“Blue Light”), Lianne La Havas (“What You Don’t Do”), Santigold (“Before the Fire”), Jessie Ware (“Sweetest Song”), Mary J. Blige (“Self Love”), Rihanna (“Numb”), Bridget Kelly (“The Mouth”) and Marsha Ambrosius (“Night Time”).

Meanwhile, Mahalia’s current promotional single “Do Not Disturb” – which was co-written by Alastair O’Donnell, Felix Joseph, Aston Rudi, and Jonny Lattimer – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For her upcoming sophomore album under Atlantic Records UK, Mahalia has also worked with Kuya Productions (Ella Henderson, Tamera Foster), Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue), Grades (Nao, Paloma Faith), Jennifer Decilveo (Anne-Marie, Diana Gordon) and Sam Romans (Raye, Craig David).

Mabel announces new single “Don’t Call Me Up”

Mabel has announced the details for her new single.

The Swedish singer/songwriter christened “Don’t Call Me Up” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Polydor Records.

Scheduled to arrive on January 18 via all digital streaming outlets; “Don’t Call Me Up” was written by Mabel alongside Camille “Kamille” Purcell (Dua Lipa, Olly Murs) and Steven “Steve Mac” McCutcheon (Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran).

Featuring previous single “One Shot” (which was co-written by Kelly Kiara and co-produced by JD. Reid), Mabel’s upcoming debut album reportedly delivers further contributions from TMS, Negin Djafari, Kid Harpoon, Amy Wadge, Electric, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Joel Compass, and Fraser T. Smith.

Mabel McVey reunites with Kid Harpoon for new collaboration

Swedish-British singer/songwriter Mabel McVey has reunited with Kid Harpoon for a new collaboration.

Harpoon previously co-wrote “Bedroom” and “Ivy” for McVey alongside Sarah Aarons and Brian Kennedy, respectively.

Harpoon’s recent songwriting and production credits also include Years & Years’ “Sanctify,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Plan B’s “Grateful,” Lykke Li’s “Bad Woman,” Harry Styles’ “Carolina,” and Lea Michele’s “Heavy Love.”

Meanwhile, McVey is expected to release her next project – featuring the Marlon Roudette-penned “Fine Line” – later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting alliances with Fraser T. Smith (“Put Your Name on It”), Joel Compass (“I Told You”), Amy Wadge (“Do it All Again”), Tre Jean-Marie (“Side of You”), Jordan Riley (“Lose My Cool”) and TMS (“Sleep At Night”).
