Meleni Smith, also known by her stage name Polly A., is an American singer-songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She is known for her singles “The Brooklyn Sun,” “Denial,” “Pick Your Poison,” “Nature,” “Meet Me in the Bathroom” and “Happy,” which was featured on the original motion picture soundtrack “Hitch” and later on covered by Natasha Bedingfield.

On the songwriting front, Smith has co-penned tracks for Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile”), Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”), Nadine Coyle (“Feels Like Love”), Jordin Sparks (“Left … Right”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Satellite”), and Kat Dahlia (“Mirror”).

She also collaborated with top producers and fellow songwriters including Soulshock & Karlin, Frankie Storm, Toby Gad, Priscilla Renea, Salaam Remi, Crada, Kwame Holland, Syience, Jonas Jeberg, Fernando Garibay, Happy Perez, Boi-1da, Quiz & Larossi, Dave Tozer, Chuck Harmony, and Stargate.

Her latest single “Ghetto Gold Dream” – which was produced by regular collaborator Synematik – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with 222 Records and Interscope Records.

Conor Maynard reunites with Lucas Secon for new album

Conor Maynard has reunited with Lucas Secon for his upcoming album.

The hitmaker previously co-wrote and produced “Another One” for Maynard along with Andreas “Quiz” Romdhane and Josef Larossi.

Other credits by Secon include Cody Simpson’s “No Ceiling” [Atlantic Records], Christina Aguilera’s “Red Hot Kinda Love” [RCA Records] and Olly Murs’ “Cry Your Heart Out” [Epic Records].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated new LP by Maynard is expected to be released later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Contrast,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and delivered four hit singles in the shape of “Can’t Say No,” Vegas Girl,” “Turn Around” and “Animal.”

Geri Halliwell has announced the details of her new single.

The British singer/songwriter will release “Half of Me” as the lead single from her upcoming as-yet-untitled fourth studio album.

The track was co-written and produced by Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci of DNA, who are also responsible for singles “Firestarter” by Samantha Jade and “Come with Me” by Ricky Martin.

Meanwhile, the new collection by Halliwell serves as the follow-up to 2005’s “Passion” [EMI Music Group / Innocence Records]. That released yielded two hit singles in the shape of “Desire” and the Quiz & Larossi-produced “Ride It.”

Dionne Bromfield reunites with Diane Warren for new album

Dionne Bromfield has reunited with Diane Warren for her upcoming third album on Universal Music Group / Lioness / Island Records.

The pair previously teamed up on the track “Who Says You Can’t Have it All,” produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Nelly Furtado, Justin Bieber).

Warren is also known for penning worldwide hit singles including “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” by Whitney Houston [Sony Music Entertainment / Arista Records] and “I Was Here” by Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records].

“All My Love” marks the lead single from the Bajan quartet’s upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Bajan Style” [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records].

The track was written by group members Amanda Reifer, T. Ray Armstrong, Jamar Harding and Barry Hill along with Ina Wroldsen, whose credits include “Before the Rain” by Alexandra Burke [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records] and “Gravity” by Pixie Lott [Universal Music Group / Mercury Records].

Production duties were handled by Andreas “Quiz” Romdhane and Josef Larossi, who are also responsible for tracks “Don’t Let Me Stop You” by Kelly Clarkson [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Another One” by Conor Maynard [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records].

British singer/songwriter Dionne Bromfield has added Cutfather to the list of producers for her upcoming third album, due later this year via Universal Music Group / Lioness Records / Island Records.

The Danish hitmaker – real name Mich Hedin Hansen – is known for co-writing and producing singles including “Think About It” by Melanie C [Warner Music Group / Red Girl Records], “Heart Vacancy” by The Wanted [Universal Music Group / Island Records] and “Let It Go” by Alexandra Burke [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Dionne Bromfield serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Good for the Soul.” That release peaked at number fifty three on the UK Albums Chart and delivered singles “Yeah Right” and “Foolin’.”

A new song by Cover Drive has hit the net on Monday (October 29, 2012).

“Surrender” is earmarked for inclusion on the Bajan quartet’s upcoming sophomore album, which will be released in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records / Geffen Records.

The new collection serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Bajan Style.” That release debuted at number fourteen on the UK Albums Chart. It also spawned four hit singles in the shape of “Lick Ya Down,” “Twilight,” “Sparks” and “Explode.”

JLS preview new album ‘Evolution’

JLS have previewed their upcoming fourth album online.

The British group – consisting of members Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams, Jonathan Gill and Marvin Humes – will release “Evolution” in the United Kingdom on November 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead single “Hottest Girl in the World” by JLS along with Alistair Tennant (Dionne Bromfield, Maria Lawson). Production duties were handled by Dwayne “Dem Jointz” Abernathy (Chris Brown, Keke Wyatt) and Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford (Marsha Ambrosius, Beyonce Knowles).

“Evolution” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Jukebox,” which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. It also spawned 3 hit singles “She Makes Me Wanna,” “Take a Chance on Me” and “Do You Feel What I Feel?”
