Dua Lipa unwraps tracklisting for debut album “DL1”

Dua Lipa has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming debut album.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the British singer-songwriter will release the self-titled collection – featuring singles “Hotter Than Hell,” “Be the One,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Room for 2” and “Thinking About You” – on June 2 via Warner Bros. Records.

Current promotional single “Lost in Your Light” – available from April 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Rick Nowels, whose credits include Lana Del Rey’s “Lust for Life,” FKA twigs’ “Good to Love,” Adele’s “Why Do You Love Me,” Tom Odell’s “Wrong Crowd,” Foxes’ “Wicked Love,” and Melanie C’s “Unravelling.”

Other songwriters backing Dua Lipa on the highly-anticipated project are Lindy Robbins, Autumn Rowe, Chelcee Grimes, Ilsey Juber, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Cara Salimando, Emily Warren, Caroline Ailin, Sarah Hudson, Lauren Christy, Sean Douglas, Talay Riley, Ferras Al-Qaisi, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Album producers include GRADES, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Digital Farm Animals, Emile Haynie, RITUAL, Jon Levine, Axident, Tom Neville, Ian Kirkpatrick, James Flannigan, Greg Wells, Andrew Wyatt, and TMS.

Bebe Rexha teams with Axident, Gladius for a new collaboration

Bebe Rexha has teamed up with Axident and Gladius for a new collaboration.

Axident – born Andreas Schuller – is known for co-writing and producing Jason Derulo’s “Wiggle,” Far East Movement’s “Turn Up the Love,” Jessie J’s “Burning Up,” Robin Schulz’s “Headlights,” and Justin Bieber’s “Company.”

Meanwhile, Gladius (real name James Wong) previously co-wrote and produced “Small Does” for Rexha alongside British singer/songwriter Lauren Christy.

Other notable credits by the New Zealand musician, who is signed to Pulse Music Group, are Maty Noyes’ “Falling Out of Love,” Jake Miller’s “Overnight,” Lindsey Stirling’s “First Light,” and Justin Bieber’s “Company.”

Rexha, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her next project, “All Your Fault: Pt. 2,” later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records.

She has also reunited with David Guetta for his upcoming seventh album, after their initial collaborations “Yesterday” and “Hey Mama,” which peaked to number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Dua Lipa shares acoustic performance of “Genesis”

Dua Lipa has shared a new song online.

The British singer/songwriter posted an exclusive acoustic performance of “Genesis” to her YouTube channel on Saturday (April 16, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry, Ella Henderson), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Idina Menzel, Ricky Martin), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Olly Murs, Jake Miller) and Andreas “Axident” Schuller (Justin Bieber, Thomas Rhett).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa’s self-titled album will be released on June 2 via Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Kenzie May, Chelcee Grimes, Laura Dockrill, Karen Poole, Emily Warren, Noonie Bao, Lindy Robbins, Camille Purcell, Whitney Phillips, Jin Jin, Ilsey Juber, Amy Wadge, MoZella, Jenna Andrews, Ed Drewett, Iain James, Jacob Attwooll, Andrew Jackson, and JHart.

Dua Lipa’s upcoming single “Lost in Your Light” – featuring guest vocals from fellow recording artist Miguel – will arrive on April 21 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the songwriting front, Dua Lipa co-wrote “Used to You” for Annalisa alongside Lucy “Pawws” Taylor and Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, as well as “Wake Up Alone” for The Chainsmokers alongside Emily Warren, Scott Harris, and Andrew Taggart.

Adam Lambert enlists Bonnie McKee, Tommy English for fourth album

Adam Lambert has enlisted the songwriting and production services of Bonnie McKee and Tommy English for his upcoming fourth album.

McKee previously co-wrote “Cuckoo” and “Chokehold” for Lambert alongside regular collaborators Josh Abraham and Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein. Both tracks appear on Lambert’s sophomore studio collection, 2012’s “Trespassing,” which topped to the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, English – who is signed to Pulse Music Group – is known for his songwriting and productions credits with BØRNS (“Electric Love”), Dark Waves (“Echo”), New Politics (“Everywhere I Go”), Black Veil Brides (“Devil In The Mirror”) and Makua Rotham (“Lost In Translation”).

Lambert’s fourth album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “The Original Hight” reportedly boasts further productions from Axident (Zedd, Justin Bieber), Big Taste (Maty Noyes, Jake Miller), Leland (Selena Gomez, Rachel Platten), BloodPop (Charli XCX, Ellie Goulding) and MNEK (Ray BLK, Zara Larsson).

Other songwriters expected to appear on the highly-anticipated project are Ilsey Juber (Shawn Mendes, Nick Jonas), Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Rita Ora) and Ferras Al-Qaisi (Ricky Martin, Idina Menzel).

Adam Lambert has teamed up with Big Taste for a new collaboration.

The New Zealand vocalist, songwriter and record producer – born Leroy Clampitt – is known for his works with Justin Bieber (“Company”), Maty Noyes (“Falling Out of Love”), Jake Miller (“Overnight”), MAALA (“Hush”), Sage the Gemini (“Now and Later”), Train (“Ziplock of Sunshine”), Jupiter Project (“You and Me”), Boulevards (“The Spot”) and JAHKOY (“Hold Your Hand”).

Big Taste’s resume boasts additional collaborations with fellow songwriters/producers including Joe London, Amanda “MNDR” Warner, James “JHart” Abrahart, Rachel “RAYE” Keen, Fred Gibson, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Rachel “RAYE” Keen, Ian Kirkpatrick, and James “Gladius” Wong.

Meanwhile, Lambert is reportedly working on his fourth album and is expected to release it later this year via Warner Brothers Records.

Jake Miller premieres music video for new single “Good Thing”

Jake Miller has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Good Thing” to his YouTube channel on Thursday (March 23, 2017).

The track was co-written by James “JHart” Abrahart (Dua Lipa, Molly Kate Kestner) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Bebe Rexha, Louisa Johnson).

Production duties on “Good Thing” were collectively handled by Andreas “Axident” Schuller (Justin Bieber, Alex Aiono), Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt (Era Istrefi, Phoebe Ryan) and Joe London (Jason Derulo, Thomas Rhett).

Miller’s mini-album “Overnight” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Astrid S has announced the details for her new single.

The Norwegian singer/songwriter – real name Astrid Smeplass – christened “Breathe” as the lead promotional single from her upcoming debut album and will release it on March 10 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Anastasia Whiteacre (Rachel Platten, Hailee Steinfeld), Rickard Goransson (Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato) and Oscar Holter (Sabina Ddumba, Ellie Goulding).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Astrid S’ first studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Jin Jin, Negin Djafari, Fiona Bevan, Noonie Bao, Ina Wroldsen, Max McElligott, Sasha Sloan, Justin Tranter, and Taylor Parks.
