Jason Derulo’s “Theory of Love” leaks online

A new song by Jason Derulo has leaked online.

“Theory of Love” was written by Lindy Robbins (Nina Nesbitt, Toni Braxton), Talay Riley (Prince Royce, Nick Jonas) and Daniel “Robopop” Omelio (Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey).

It is yet to be known whether the track is slotted for inclusion on the American singer/songwriter’s upcoming fifth studio collection, which will arrive later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features alliances with Digital Farm Animals, Freddy Wexler, Matt Zara, BullySongs, Jim Lavigne, Ryan Tedder, Sermstyle, Happy Perez, Jeff Gitty, Nova Wav, and Banx & Ranx.

Derulo’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Everything is Four,” peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Want to Want Me,” “Cheyenne,” “Try Me” and “Ugly.”

Jason Derulo hits the studio with Banx & Ranx for new collaboration

Jason Derulo has teamed up with Banx & Ranx for a new collaboration.

The Canadian production duo – composed of Yannick Rastogi and Zacharie Raymond – previously worked with Ella Eyre (“Answerphone”), Dua Lipa (“Kiss & Make Up”), Olly Murs (“Kiss Me”), Karen Harding (“Come As You Are”), Kate Stewart (“Sex for Breakfast”) and Sean Paul (“Bad Love”).

Banx & Ranx have also contributed to the next projects by Craig David, Era Istrefi, Amanda Reifer, Bipolar Sunshine, Caitlyn Scarlett, Dan Caplen, Melissa Steel, JP Cooper, Liza Owen, Taio Cruz, Anne-Marie, and Crystal Fighters.

Meanwhile, Derulo is expected to release his fifth album and follow-up to 2014’s “Everything is 4” later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records.

Alexandra Burke delivers new album “The Truth Is”

British singer/songwriter Alexandra Burke has delivered her new album online.

“The Truth Is” – featuring lead promotional single “Shadow” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’a “Heartbreak on Hold” was produced by Gordon Mills Jr., whose credits include “This” with Ed Sheeran on the multi million selling album “+” and Newton Faulkner’s mega hit “Dream Catch Me”.

Other producers and songwriters backing Burke on “The Truth Is” are Sons of Sonix (aka Moses Samuels & Michael Akinkunmi), Tanika Bailey, Paul Meehan, Brian Rawling, Dee Freer, Kassa Alexander, Natalia Hajjara, Shane Filan, Emma Rohan, David Wood, Ana Diaz, BullySongs, Reign Write, and Jim Duguid.

Louisa Johnson confirms new promotional single “Yes”

Louisa Johnson has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Yes” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The 2 Chainz-featuring track was written by Camille “Kamille” Purcell, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Matthew Radosevich, Christopher “Chris Loco” Crowhurst and Goldfingers (aka Linus Nordstrom and Frank Nobel).

Louisa’s last single “Best Behaviour” – which was co-written by Shungudzo and Danny Parker and produced by Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her debut album reportedly boasts additional productions from Toby Gad, Burns, Steve Mac, Jake Gosling, Dave Bassett, Ian Lovatt, Arnthor Birgisson, Joe Janiak, Digital Farm Animals, Jason Evigan, and Cutfather.

On the songwriting front, Louisa has also worked with Maegan Cottone, Anouck “Nuuxs” Boungnang, Iain James, Priscilla Renea, Jacob Kasher, Caroline Ailin, Marlon Roudette, Ina Wroldsen, Chloe Angelides, Ali Tamposi, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Sam Romans, Negin Djafari, and Linnea Sodahl.

Paloma Faith teams up with Sigala for new single “Lullaby”

British singer/songwriter Paloma Faith has teamed up with DJ and record producer Sigala (real name Bruce Fielder) for his new promotional single “Lullaby,” which is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Atlantic recording artist Jess Glynne alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett (Yebba Smith, Janelle Monae) and Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore (Louisa Johnson, Ella Henderson).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Faith’s latest album “The Architect” – featuring promotional singles “Cry Baby,” “Guilty,” “‘Til I’m Done” and the John Legend-assisted “I’ll Be Gentle” – is out now via Sony Music Entertainment UK.

Meanwhile, Sigala’s upcoming project under Ministry of Sound / B1 Recordings reportedly yields further songwriting contributions from Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji, Caroline Ailin, Nate Campany, Gina Kushka, Chelcee Grimes, Sam Romans, Chiara Hunter, Grace Tither, Ilsey Juber, and Camille “Kamille” Purcell.

British singer/songwriter Camille Purcell, known mononymously as Kamille, has christened her debut mini-album “My Head’s a Mess” and will release it on November 17th via Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Body” – which was co-written and produced by Linus Nordstrom and Frank Nobel of Goldfingers – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“My Head’s a Mess” reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Ritual, Chris Loco, Wayne Hector, Two Inch Punch, BullySongs, Fred Ball, Dantae Johnson, and MakeYouKnowLove.

As a songwriter, Kamille has contributed to the next projects by Rudimental, Anne-Marie, Ella Henderson, Louisa Johnson, Bebe Rexha, Rihanna, Era Istrefi, Lewis Capaldi, David Guetta, Calum Scott, Fleur East, Jess Glynne, Ella Eyre, Louis Tomlinson, Tamera Foster, and 5 After Midnight.

British singer/songwriter Camille Purcell, known mononymously as Kamille, has reunited with fellow songwriter Wayne Hector for a new collaboration.

The pair previously teamed up on the Steve Robson-produced “You Don’t Know Love” and “Grow Up,” taken from Olly Murs’ 2016 album “24 HRS,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Hector’s recent songwriting credits include Steps’ “You Make Me Whole,” Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows,” Sunrise Avenue’s “I Help You Hate Me,” Little Mix’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Taya’s “When You’re Sober,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “First Time,” Kaiser Chef’s “Sunday Morning,” and Jones’ “Til We Get There.”

Meanwhile, Kamille’s upcoming debut project – featuring contributions from Chris Loco, BullySongs, Two Inch Punch, MYKL, Dantae Johnson, and RITUAL – is expected to arrive early next year via Virgin EMI Records.
