Mary Lambert confirms new single “Ribcage”

Mary Lambert has confirmed the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Ribcage” – featuring Angel Haze – as the next promotional single from her debut album “Heart on My Sleeve.”

Production duties on “Ribcage” were handled by regular collaborators Benny Cassette (Miguel, Sevyn Streeter) and Eric Rosse (Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles).

“Heart on My Sleeve” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Secrets” and “So Far Away” as well as additional songwriting contributions from Mozella – is now available for download via Itunes in partnership with Capitol Records.

Polly A. has announced the title for her upcoming project.

The singer/songwriter – real name name Meleni Smith – christened her next collection of songs “Ghetto Gold Dreams” and will release it early next year.

“Ghetto Gold Dreams” serves as the follow-up to “Distorted Fairy Tales,” which features the Matrax-produced / Frankie Storm-assisted single “Nature.”

As a songwriter, Polly A. penned songs for Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”), Natasha Bedingfield (“Happy”), Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”), Angel Haze (“No Bueno”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile”) and Kat Dahlia (“Mirror”).

Her resume also includes works with hitmakers Stargate (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Toby Gad (Madonna, John Legend), Salaam Remi (Usher, Jordin Sparks), Boi-1da (Tinashe, Kelly Rowland) and Syience (Beyonce, Emeli Sande).

Polly A. has unveiled her new mini-album online.

The singer/songwriter – born Meleni Smith – posted “Distorted Fairy Tales” to her official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (December 10, 2014).

“Distorted Fairy Tales” is preceded by lead single “Nature,” which was written by Meleni Smith and Frankie Storm along with Scott “ScottISHH” Carter, Dame “Haze” Hayes and Ali Prawl of production team The Matrax.

Other contributors on “Distorted Fairy Tales” are Reginald “Syience” Perry, Arturo Ayers, Julien “JDot” Cross, Danny King, and Marc Cary.

As a songwriter, Polly A. recently co-wrote “Summer Dealer” for Canadian singer/songwriter Ben Stevenson along with hit producer Happy Perez.

Her extensive resume also includes works for Kat Dahlia (“Clocks”), Angel Haze (“No Bueno”), Selena Gomez (“Bang Bang Bang”), J. Cole (“Crooked Smile”), Natasha Bedingfield (“Happy”) and Alicia Keys (“Love is My Disease”).

LuvBug, Joel Compass unveil new single “Revive (Say Something)”

LuvBug have unveiled their new single online.

The British production team – consisting of members Marvin Humes, The White N3rd and JKAY – posted the audio clip for “Revive (Say Something)” to their official YouTube page on Tuesday (November 18, 2014).

“Revive (Say Something)” – featuring vocals from singer/songwriter Joel Compass – will be available for download from January 25 via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Global Talent Records and Polydor Records.

The track was co-written by MNEK, whose resume also includes works for Rudimental (“Spoons”), Little Mix (“Nothing Feels Like You”), Bondax (“All I See”), TIEKS (“Sing That Song”) and Becky Hill (“Losing”).

LuvBug’s previous promotional cut, the Talay Riley-assisted “Resonance,” peaked at number thirteen on the UK Singles Chart.

Their as-yet-untitled debut album is confirmed to boast further guest appearances from Angel Haze [Island Records], Kaleem Taylor [Ministry of Sound Recordings] and All About She [Atlantic Records].

The singer/songwriter – born Tawanna Dabney – has christened her new collection “The Storm is Coming” and will release it later this year.

Among the tracks slotted for inclusion on the highly-anticipated mini-album are “The Cure is Love” and “Shooter.”

Frankie’s extensive songwriting resume includes works for Britney Spears [RCA Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Ciara [Epic Records], Enrique Iglesias [Republic Records] and LeToya Luckett [eOne Music].

Rudimental, Becky Hill premiere ‘Powerless’ music video

Rudimental have premiered the music video for their new single online.

“Powerless” – which features vocals from Parlophone recording artist Becky Hill – marks the seventh promotional single from the British electronic quartet’s debut album, “Home,” out now via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

In addition to Becky Hill, “Home” boasts further guest appearances from Foxes [RCA Records], Ella Eyre [Virgin Records], Sinead Harnett [Black Butter Records], Emeli Sande [Capitol Records] and Angel Haze [Island Records].

The group – which consists of songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor, and Leon “DJ Locksmith” Rolle – have already started the process of recording their upcoming sophomore album.

Among the artists expected to appear on the still-untitled LP are MNEK [Virgin Records], Ed Sheeran [Asylum Records], John Newman [Island Records], Lianne La Havas [Atlantic Records] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records].

Angel Haze has completed shooting the music video for her new single “Battle Cry” with Frank Borin, who previously teamed up with the artist on “No Bueno.”

Other notable videography credits by Borin include “Show Me Love (America)” by The Wanted [Island Records], “Somebody to Die For” by Hurts [Sony Music UK], and “Halfway Gone” by Simple Plan [Geffen Records].

“Battle Cry” serves as the second promotional single from Angel Haze’s debut album, “Dirty Gold,” out now via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The track was co-written by Sia Furler and Greg Kurstin, who are also responsible for “Standing on the Sun” by Beyonce Knowles [Columbia Records] and “Double Rainbow” by Katy Perry [Capitol Records].

American hip hop artist Angel Haze has drafted the production services of Greg Kurstin for her upcoming debut album, “Dirty Gold,” scheduled to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The hitmaker is known for co-writing and producing singles such as “Standing on the Sun” by Beyonce Knowles [Columbia Records], “True Love” by Pink [RCA Records] and “The Hands I Hold” by Bo Bruce [Mercury Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next albums by The Bird and the Bee [Blue Note Records], Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Mikky Ekko [RCA Records], Bonnie McKee [Epic Records], Neon Hitch [Reprise Records], Katy Perry [Capitol Records] and Lily Rose Cooper [Parlophone Records].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated collection by Haze – real name Raykeea Wilson – is expected to feature additional productions from The Invisible Men: Jon Shave, George Astasio & Jason Pebworth (Iggy Azealia, Rita Ora) and Shahid “Naughty Boy” Khan (Britney Spears, Cheryl Cole).
