Paloma Faith unwraps artwork, tracklisting for new album “The Architect”

Paloma Faith has unwrapped the artwork and tracklisting for her upcoming fourth album “The Architect,” which will arrive on November 17 via Sony Music Entertainment UK / RCA Records Label.

Lead single “Crybaby” – which was co-written with Lindy Robbins, Cleo Tighe, and Finlay “Starsmith” Dow-Smith – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “A Perfect Contradiction” boasts additional songwriting alliances with fellow recording artists including Sia Furler (“Warrior”), Zak Abel (“I’ll Be Gentle”) and John Newman (“Till I’m Done”).

Other album contributors are Jesse Shatkin (Rihanna), Ilsey Juber (Britney Spears), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith), Knox Brown (Jess Glynne), Eg White (Maverick Sabre), Arnthor Birgisson (Raye), Carla Marie Williams (Beyonce), Wayne Hector (Olly Murs), Klas Ahlund (Robyn) and TMS (Craig David).

Mabel hits the studio with Pawws, The Electric

British singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has teamed with Pawws and The Electric for a new collaboration.

Pawws (born Lucy Helene Taylor) has previously penned songs that were performed by Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Etham (“Close Enough”), Liv Dawson (“I’ll Be Waiting), Danny L Harle (“Me4U”) and Annalisa (“Used to You”).

Meanwhile, The Electric (composed of Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen) are responsible for producing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Fifth Harmony’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “At My Best,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Olly Murs’s “Love You More,” and M.O’s “Not in Love.”

Mabel’s current mini-album “Bedroom” – featuring the Marlon Roudette-penned / John “JD” Reid-produced “Finders Keepers” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her upcoming debut studio collection under Polydor Records reportedly boasts alliances with Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Negin Djafari (Louisa Johnson), MNEK (Zara Larsson), Raye (Anne-Marie), Arnthor Birgisson (Taya), Levi Lennox (FKA twigs), Grades (Ella Mai) and Joel Compass (Tinashe).

Arnthor Birgisson teases new collaboration with Birdy

Arnthor Birgisson has teased a new collaboration with Birdy.

“Enjoyed being the Piano Man today with @birdyinstagram,” the Icelandic/Swedish songwriter and record producer posted to Instagram on Wednesday (September 13, 2017).

Birgisson recently co-wrote “When Ur Sober” for British singer/songwriter Taya alongside Emma Davidson-Dillon and Wayne Hector. The Diztortion and Mark Ralph-produced cut is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Birgisson’s extensive resume boasts further works with Ina Wroldsen (“Lay it On Me”), Shontelle (“Impossible”), Tove Styrke (“Ego”), Leona Lewis (“My Hands”), Kim Cesarion (“Naked”), Tiaan (“Devil’s Touch”), Jennifer Lopez (“Play”), Selena Gomez (“Write Your Name”) and 5 After Midnight (“Up in Here”).

Birdy, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection – featuring additional alliances with Johan Gustafson, Grades, Jennifer Decilveo, – later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Her previous album, 2016’s “Beautiful Lies,” peaked to number four on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Wild Horses,” “Keeping Your Head Up,” “Words” and “Hear You Calling.”

Taya unleashes new promotional single “When Ur Sober”

British singer/songwriter Taylor Ann Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“When Ur Sober” – featuring Yxng Bane – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Boasting co-production duties from Diztortion (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson) and Mark Ralph (Amber Mark, Zara Larsson); “Sober” was co-written by Wayne Hector (Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne), Arnthor Birgisson (RAYE, Enrique Iglesias) and Emma Davidson-Dillon (Jasmine Thompson, Zac Samuel).

Taya’s upcoming debut mini-album – featuring previous singles “Deeper,” “Got Me Wondering” and “Sweet Waste of Time” – is scheduled to arrive on September 1st via Atlantic Records UK.

Other producers backing Taya on the self-titled project are George Reid (Raleigh Ritchie), Felix Snow (Katy Perry), Jonas Jeberg (Chris Brown) and Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh (Lianne La Havas).

On the songwriting front, Taya has worked with Karen Poole (Dua Lipa), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Tinashe), Anjulie Persaud (Nicki Minaj), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Mabel McVey).

Mabel has released the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Finders Keepers” – featuring Kojo Funds – to her Vevo channel on Thursday (August 18, 2017).

Co-written by Mabel alongside Marlon Roudette and Jordan “JD” Reid; “Finders Keepers” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Mabel’s upcoming debut album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Negin Djafari (Liza Owen), Joel Compass (FKA twigs), RAYE (Ellie Goulding), Arnthor Birgisson (Taya), GRADES (Raleigh Ritchie), Jordan Riley (Nina Nesbitt) and MNEK (Kara Marni).

Louisa Johnson hits the studio with Chris Loco, Goldfingers

British singer/songwriter Louisa Johnson has enlisted the production services of Chris Loco and Goldfingers for her upcoming debut album.

Loco (born Christopher Crowhurst) is known for his works with Emeli Sande (“Easier in Bed”), Kevin Garrett (“Little Bit of You”), Justine Skye (“U Don’t Know”), Etta Bond (“Kiss My Girlfriend”), Raleigh Ritchie (“Stronger Than Ever”) and Sinead Harnett (“Rather Be with You”).

Meanwhile, Goldfingers (composed of Frank Nobel and Linus Nordstrom) have contributed to the next projects by John Newman, Kamille, Fleur East, Antigoni Buxton, Taya, Sabina Ddumba, Charlotte OC, Liza Owen, and Mali-Koa.

Johnson, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut album – featuring singles “So Good” and “Best Behaviour” – later this year via Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further productions from Mojam (Anne-Marie), Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Digital Farm Animals (Dua Lipa), Arnthor Birgisson (James Arthur), Dallas Austin (Ella Henderson), BURNS (Maluma), Toby Gad (Leona Lewis) and Dave Bassett (Vance Joy).

Ina Wroldsen reunites with Steve Mac for new collaboration

Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen has reunited with British record producer Steve Mac for a new collaboration.

The pair previously teamed up on tracks performed by Anne-Marie (“Alarm”), Sofia Carson (“Love is the Name”), Alexandra Burke (“Before the Rain”), Shakira (“Empire”), Little Mix (“We Are Who We Are”), Jasmine Thompson (“Adore”), Demi Lovato (“Lionheart”) and Zara Larsson (“Symphony”).

Mac’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters including Johnny McDaid, Chelcee Grimes, Ed Drewett, Priscilla Renea, Wayne Hector, Julia Michaels, Ammar Malik, Camille Purcell, Ross Golan, Karen Poole, Claude Kelly, Emeli Sande, Ilsey Juber, James Newman, and Lindy Robbins.

Meanwhile, Wroldsen is expected to release her first studio collection later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts contributions from Mac & Phil (Ella Henderson, James Morrison), Diztortion (Taya, Craig David), Arnthor Birgisson (Leona Lewis, Enrique Iglesias), Chris Loco (Louisa Johnson, Maverick Sabre) and Digital Farm Animals (Liam Payne, Grace Carter).
