Charlie Puth confirms details for new single “Mother”

Charlie Puth has confirmed the details for his new single.

The American singer, songwriter, and record producer christened “Mother” as his next promotional cut and will release it on September 12 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Puth alongside Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera), Andrew Watt (Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello), Billy Walsh (Khalid, Alicia Keys) and Louis Bell (Rita Ora, Post Malone).

Puth’s upcoming project – featuring previous single “I Warned Myself” (which was co-produced by Benny Blanco) – is expected to arrive later this year via Artist Partner Group / Atlantic Records.

As a songwriter and producer, Puth recently co-helmed Katy Perry’s “Small Talk” (alongside Jacob Kasher Hindlin and Johan Carlsson) and Charlotte Lawrence’s “Why Do You Love Me” (alongside Ali Tamposi, Andrew Watt, Ryan Tedder, Louis Bell, Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon).

Charlie Puth unleashes sophomore album “Voicenotes”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Charlie Puth has unleashed his sophomore studio collection online.

“Voicenotes” – featuring singles “Attention,” “How Long?,” “If You Leave Me Now,” “Change” and “Done for Me” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project yields songwriting contributions from Jacob Kasher, whose recent credits include Meghan Trainor’s “No Excuses,” Jason Mraz’s “Have it All,” Chromeo’s “Must’ve Been,” Zara Larsson’s “Either,” Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor,” and 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Want You Back.”

Other musicians backing Puth on the follow-up to 2016’s “Nine Track Mind” are Frank-E, Ross Golan, Johan Carlsson, Savan Kotecha, JRY, Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk, Jason Evigan, Sean Douglas, Ben Johnson, Fraser Chruchill, Rickard Goransson, James Alan, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Current single “The Way I Am” – which was produced by Puth and co-written by regular collaborator Jacob “JKash” Kasher – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Nine Track Mind” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Justin “Frank-E” Franks, John “JRY” Ryan, Johan Carlsson, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Charlie Puth has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The “Done for Me” visual clip – featuring fellow recording artist and labelmate Kehlani – was posted to the American singer, songwriter, and record producer’s YouTube channel on Saturday (April 21, 2018).

Puth co-wrote “Done for Me” – which is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – alongside Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Meghan Trainer, Bebe Rexha) and John “JRY” Ryan (Niall Horan, Jason Derulo).

His upcoming sophomore studio collection “Voicenotes” – featuring previous singles “Attention,” “How Long?” “If You Leave Me Now” and “Change” – is scheduled to arrive on May 11 via APG / Atlantic Records.

Ricky Reed has teased a new collaboration with Charlie Puth.

“Here’s a picture of @charlieputh and his bald friend Ricky,” the American record producer and songwriter posted to Instagram on Sunday (April 08, 2018).

Reed recently co-produced and co-wrote “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand” and “Bad Bad News” for Leon Bridges alongside Nate Mercereau and Wayne Hector. Both tracks appear on Bridges’ upcoming sophomore studio collection, “Good Thing,” out on May 4 via LisaSawyer63 / Columbia Records.

Born Eric Frederic, Reed’s resume boasts additional works with Meghan Trainor (“No”), Jessie J (“Burning Up”), Halsey (“Alone”), Fifth Harmony (“Bo$$”), Kesha (“Hymn”), Jason Derulo (“Swalla”), Maroon 5 (“Who I Am”), DNCE (“Dance”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”) and Lizzo (“Fitness”).
