Tom Grennan drafts Jonny Lattimer, Fraser T. Smith for new promotional single “Sober”

British singer/songwriter Tom Grennan has released his new single online.

“Sober” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jonny Lattimer, whose other credits include Caitlyn Scarlett’s “Happy When,” Bruno Major’s “Second Time,” Zak Abel’s “Rock Bottom,” Frances’ “Let it Out,” Rebecca Ferguson’s “Backtrack,” Kwabs’ “Walk,” Sinead Harnett’s “Rather Be with You,” and Foxes’ “Amazing.”

Production duties on “Sober” were handled by Fraser T. Smith, who is also responsible for Raye’s “Decline,” Craig David’s “I Know You,” Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason,” Stormzy’s “Blinded by Your Grace,” Ray BLK’s “Baby Girlz,” Jon Bellion’s “Maybe IDK,” and Gavin James’ “Bitter Pill.”

Grennan’s upcoming debut album “Lighting Matches” – featuring previous singles “Found What I’ve Been Looking For,” “I Might” and “Royal Highness” – will arrive on May 18 Sony Music Entertainment / Insanity Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further ontributions from Laconic, Diane Warren, Peter Stengaard, Jordan Riley, Adriano “Adj” Buffone, Danny Connors, Amy Wadge, Jimmy Hogarth, and Patrick “Paddy” Byrne.

JONES enlists George Reid of AlunaGeorge for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cherie Jones-Mattis, known mononymously as JONES, has enlisted George Reid of AlunaGeorge for a new collaboration.

Reid’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Taya (“Sweet Waste of Time”), Raleigh Ritchie (“A Moor”), Charlotte OC (“Meet Again”), Molly Rainford (“Bad Friend”) and NAO (“Talking Drum”).

Among the fellow songwriters Reid has worked with are Cathy Dennis, Karen Poole, Fiona Bevan, Dee Adams, Cleo Tighe, Bryn Christopher, Chiara Hunter, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Caroline Ailin, and Glen Roberts.

Meanwhile, JONES is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin” some time next year via 37 Adventures.

Current promotional single “Something Bout Our Love” – which was co-written by Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers and Mark “TIEKS” Tieku – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

For her second studio collection, JONES has also teamed up with Invisible Men, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Sky Adams, Danny Shah, Lostboy, Arnthor Birgisson, Wayne Hector, Lauren Aquilina, Tom Havelock, Laconic, Max McElligott, Starsmith, Ollie Green, Rachel Furner, Martin Sjolie, and Laura Dockrill.

JONES has premiered the music video for her new promotional single online.

The William Baker-directed clip for “Something Bout Our Love” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (December 15, 2017).

Co-written with Lucy “Pawws” Taylor and Mark “TIEKS” Tieku; “Something Bout Our Love” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

JONES’ upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin,” is expected to arrive early next year via 37 Adventures.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Laconic, Sky Adams, Danny Shah, Laura Dockrill, Ollie Green, Starsmith, Arnthor Birgisson, Rachel Furner, Wayne Hector, Lostboy, Tom Havelock, Isabella Summbers, Martin Sjolie, Lauren Aquilina, and Invisible Men.

Norwegian singer/songwriter Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, known mononymously as simply Sigrid, has released her new promotional single online.

“Strangers” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaborator Martin Sjolie – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Sigrid’s upcoming debut studio collection – featuring previous promotional singles “Don’t Kill My Vibe” and “Plot Twist” – is expected to arrive early next year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts additional productions from Future Cut (Rita Ora), Justin Parker (Ellie Goulding), Laconic (Mic Lowry), Jonny Coffer (Beyonce), The Electric (Mabel McVey), Fred Ball (Rihanna), BloodPop (Justin Bieber), Patrik Berger (Charli XCX) and TMS (Niall Horan).

British singer/songwriter Kara Marni has drafted Laura Dockrill and Ollie Green for a new collaboration.

Dockrill’s songwriting resume boasts works with Anne-Marie (“Karate”), MNEK (“More than a Miracle”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Javeon (“Give Up”), Dornik (“Drive”), Jessie Ware (“Small Talk”) and Courage (“Wild at Heart”).

Meanwhile, Green is known for co-penning and/or producing cuts performed by Frances (“Love Me Again”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Freya Ridings (“Maps”), Jones (“Indulge”), Leo Kalyan (“Daydream”), Alan Walker (“Tired”), John Gibbons (“Sunglasses in the Rain”) and Gavin James (“Hearts on Fire”).

Recent songwriting credits by Warren include Little Mix’s “No More Sad Songs,” Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Dua Lipa’s “New Rules,” Molly Kate Kestner’s “Good Die Young,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Alessia Cara’s “The Other Side,” Noah Cyrus’ “Stay Together,” and Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me.”

Meanwhile, Sjolie’s resume boasts works with Rae Morris (“Unfold”), Sam Smith (“This is Love”), Ella Henderson (“Regardless”), Max George (“Miracle”), Janice Kavander (“Secrets”), Guy Sebastian (“Sorry Not Sorry”), Charlotte OC (“In Paris”), Nathan Sykes (“Good Things”) and Raye (“Love Song”).
