Hailee Steinfeld hits the studio with Fred Ball, Stephen Kozmeniuk

American actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has drafted producers Fred Ball and Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk for a new collaboration.

Kozmeniuk is responsible for helming Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Lykke Li’s “Deep End,” Grace Carter’s “Heal Me,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Dangerous,” Lights’ “Kicks,” Nicki Minaj’s “Up in Flames,” and Madonna’s “Gang Bang.”

Meanwhile, Ball’s resume boasts works with Rihanna (“Love on the Brain”), Mariah Carey (“One Mo ‘Gen”), Toni Braxton (“Deadwood”), Anne-Marie (“Some People”), Roses Gabor (“Turkish Delight”), Justine Skye (“Heaven”), Zara Larsson (“One Mississipi”) and Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”).

Steinfeld’s current promotional single “Back to Life” – which was co-written by Kennedi Lykken and Michael Pollack and produced by Jorgen Odegard – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For her upcoming project under Republic Records, Steinfeld has also worked with TMS, Jin Jin, Noah Breakfast, Caroline Pennel, Rami Yacoub, Asia Whiteacre, Zach Skelton, Casey Smith, Ryan Tedder, Caroline Ailin, Dayyon Alexander, Whitney Phillips, Farrago, Ali Tamposi, Farrago, and Tayla Parx.

Alicia Keys releases new promotional single “Raise a Man”

Alicia Keys has released her new promotional single online.

“Raise a Man” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track co-written by Terius “The-Dream” Nash, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Beyonce’s “Single Ladies,” Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine,” Janet Jackson’s “Greatest Ex,” Usher’s “Trading Places,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” Celine Dion’s “Skies of LA,” and Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body.”

Production duties on “Raise a Man” were collectively handled by Alicia Keys alongside Larrance Dopson, who is also responsible for Kali Uchis’s “Tyrant,” Justin Timberlake’s “Say Something,” Mariah Carey’s “8th Grade,” Little Mix’s “More Than Words,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “These Walls.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her eighth studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Here” reportedly delivers further contributions from Tricky Stewart, Mark Ronson, DaHeala, Foy Vance, Arrow Benjamin, Fred Ball, Emile Haynie, Stacy Barthe, Johnny McDaid, Andrew Wyatt, Jeff Bhasker, Linda Perry, Asia Whiteacre, Pierre Medor, and Jeremiah “SickPen” Bethea.

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Alicia Keys has enlisted Christopher “Tricky” Stewart for a new collaboration.

Stewart’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Single Ladies”), Mariah Carey (“Touch My Body”), Rihanna (“Umbrella”), Mary J. Blige (“Just Fine”), Ciara (“Ride”), Brooke Valentine (“Girl Fight”), Brandy (“Louboutins”), Toni Braxton (“Missin'”) and Whitney Houston (“I Look to You”).

Besides regular collaborator Terius “The-=Dream” Nash, Stewart has also worked with songwriters including Traci Hale, Penelope Magnet, Kandi Burruss, Ester Dean, Crystal Nicole, Shelly Peiken, Katrina Willis, Michelle Bell, Candice Nelson, Keri Hilson, Shamora Crawford, and Lindsey “Mavelle” Gilbert.

Meanwhile, Keys is expected to release her eighth studio collection in 2019 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Linda Perry teases new collaboration with Alicia Keys

Linda Perry has teased a new collaboration with Alicia Keys.

“Alicia Keys is truly a Superwomen. Was a good hang at my studio,” the American songwriter and record producer posted to Instagram.

The pair previously teamed up on “Superwoman,” “The Thing About Love,” “Sure Looks Good to Me” and “Pray for Forgiveness,” taken from the albums “As I Am” (2007) and “The Element of Freedom” (2009), respectively.

Perry’s songwriting and production resume boasts additional works with Pink (“Get the Party Started”), Christina Aguilera (“Beautiful”), Gwen Stefani (“What You Waiting For?”), Celine Dion (“My Love”), Adele (“Can’t Let Go”), Lea Michele (“Sentimental Memories”) and Miley Cyrus (“Hands of Love”).

Keys’ last studio collection under Sony Music / RCA Records, 2016’s “Here,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “In Common” and “Blended Family (What You Do for Love).”

For her next project, Keys has reportedly teamed up with fellow musicians including DaHeala, Foy Vance, Fred Ball, Emile Haynie, Arrow Benjamin, Stacy Barthe, Johnny McDaid, Andrew Wyatt, Jeff Bhasker, and Asia Whiteacre.

Asia Whiteacre has teased a new collaboration with Alicia Keys.

“Me and my bff @aliciakeys coordinated patterns ahead of time. Don’t worry about it,” the American songwriter posted to Instagram.

Whiteacre’s songwriting resume boasts works with Bebe Rexha (“Ferrari”), Louis Tomlinson (“Miss You”), Alina Baraz (“Floating”), Sam Fischer (“Getting Older”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Most Girls”) and Diana Gordon (“Kool Aid”).

The Warner/Chappell signee has also contributed to the next projects by Carly Rae Jepsen, Enrique Iglesias, Phoebe Ryan, Liz Huett, and Youngr.

Meanwhile, Keys is expected to release her seventh studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Hailee Steinfeld teams up with MNEK for new single “Colour”

Hailee Steinfeld has teamed up with MNEK for his new single “Colour,” which will arrive on June 1 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was written by MNEK (real name Uzoechi Emenike) alongside fellow recording artist Anne-Marie Nicholson and Dutch record producer Raoul Chen (known professionally as Diztortion).

MNEK’s debut album – featuring current single “Tongue” – is scheduled for release later this year via Digital Teddy / Virgin EMI Records.

He also produced and co-wrote “Deserve” for Christina Aguilera alongside Julia Michaels. The track appears on Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album, “Liberation,” out on June 15 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s next project reportedly yields contributions from TMS, Caroline Ailin, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Casey Smith, Billboard, Asia Whiteacre, Rissi Rissi, Noah Breakfast, Ali Tamposi, Rami Yaqoub, Tayla Parx, Albin Nedler, Whitney Phillips, Justin Tranter, and Julia Michaels.
