Ava Lily releases new single “Painkiller”

Ava Lily has released her new single online.

“Painkiller” – which was co-written by Emily Warren and the song’s producer Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph – is now available for download via iTunes.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lily is expected to release her debut EP later this year through Naughty Boy’s label Naughty Records.

She previously teamed up with the British record producer on hit single “Pardon Me,” taken from his first studio collection, “Hotel Cabana.”

Amongst the other musicians Lily has worked with are Mojam, Iain James, Josh Record, Laura Dockrill, Jim Eliot, Two Inch Punch, and Jonny Coffer.

Ava Lily collaborates with Emily Warren, Shama Joseph

Ava Lily has collaborated with Emily Warren and Shama Joseph on new music.

Warren’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jessie J (“Masterpiece”), Melanie Martinez (“Soap”), Shawn Mendes (“Aftertaste”), and Becky Hill (“Back to My Love”).

Meanwhile, Joseph is known for co-writing and producing singles performed by Rihanna (“Man Down”), Alesha Dixon (“Drummer Boy”), Kid Ink (“No Miracles”), T.I. (“Private Show”), and Jennifer Lopez (“Emotions”).

Lily, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut mini-collection later this year under Naughty Boy’s label Naughty Records.

She previously teamed up with the British record producer on hit single “Pardon Me,” which was co-written by Emeli Sande and MNEK and featured additional guest vocals from Professor Green and Laura Mvula.

Amongst the other musicians Lily has worked with are Mojam, Iain James, Josh Record, Laura Dockrill, Jim Eliot, Two Inch Punch, and Jonny Coffer.

Ava Lily covers “Do It Again” by Pia Mia

Ava Lily has shared a new performance video online.

The British singer, songwriter and pianist posted her rendition of “Do It Again” by Pia Mia to her YouTube channel on Friday (October 02, 2015).

Production duties on “Do It Again” – now available for download via iTunes – were handled by Nicholas “Nic Nac” Balding, whose other credits include Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and Tinashe’s “Watch Me Work.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lily will release her upcoming EP later this year through Naughty Records and Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project is executive-produced by Naughty Boy, who also worked on the next releases by Emeli Sande [Capitol], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Tamera Foster [Syco Music] and Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros].

Other musicians associated with the mini-collection are Mojam (Jess Glynne), Iain James (Craig David), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), MNEK (Little Mix), Laura Dockrill (Jessie Ware) and Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre).

Ava Lily covers “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” by Naughty Boy

Ava Lily has shared a new cover video online.

The British singer/songwriter posted her rendition of “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” to YouTube on Friday (September 18, 2015).

“Runnin’ (Lost it All)” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Naughty Boy and Arrow Benjamin along with Carla Marie Williams (Alesha Dixon, Kylie Minogue) and Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Jess Glynne).

The Beyonce-assisted track also marks the first promotional cut from Naughty Boy’s upcoming second album and follow-up to 2013’s “Hotel Cabana.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lily is currently working on her debut EP under Naughty Records in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features contributions from Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre), Iain James (Little Mix), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Laura Dockrill (Karen Harding), Jim Eliot (Leona Lewis) and Mojam (Emeli Sande).

Naughty Boy teams up with Beyonce, Benjamin Arrow for new single

Naughty Boy has announced the title for his new single.

The British record producer and songwriter christened “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album.

“Runnin’ (Lose It All)” – featuring vocals from Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin – was co-written by Carla Marie Williams (Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays) and Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer (Leona Lewis, Jess Glynne).

Naughty Boy’s next studio collection – delivering further guest appearances from Emeli Sande and Ella Eyre – is expected to be released later this year through Naughty Records and Virgin EMI Records.

His first album, 2013’s “Hotel Cabana,” peaked to number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned collaborations with Gabrielle (“Hollywood”), Sam Smith (“La La La”), Ed Sheeran (“Top Floor”) and Wiz Khalifa (“Think About It”).

On the production front, Naughty Boy has contributed to the next projects by Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Ava Lily [Virgin EMI], Tanika [Tim & Danny Music] and Cover Drive [TBA].

Ava Lily enlists Laura Dockrill for debut EP

Ava Lily has enlisted Laura Dockrill for her upcoming EP.

Dockrill is responsible for co-writing Jessie Ware’s “Sweet Talk” [Island Records], Anne-Marie’s “Karate” [Atlantic Records], Javeon’s “Give Up” [Virgin EMI Records] and Blonde’s “Foolish” f/ Ryan Ashley [Parlophone Records].

Furthermore, she has teamed up with a-list musicians including William “Tourist” Phillips (Sam Smith, Kacy Hill), Bradford Ellis (Leona Lewis, Fleur East), Benjamin “Two Inch Punch” Ash (Sinead Harnett, Ella Eyre), Knox Brown (Usher, Emeli Sande) and Josh Record (MNEK, Ella Henderson).

Meanwhile, Lily is expected to release her first mini-collection later this year through Naughty Records in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts additional alliances with Naughty Boy (Tinie Tempah, Wiz Khalifa), Mac and Phil (Cover Drive, Jess Glynne), Iain James (Little Mix, Craig David), Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue, Ellie Goulding) and Mustafa Omer & James Murray of Mojam (Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis).

Ava Lily has collaborated with MNEK on new music.

“Today’s session was fun! Thank you @MNEK,” the British singer/songwriter and pianist posted to her Twitter profile on Thursday (April 23, 2015).

MNEK is known for co-writing and producing Karen Harding’s “Say Something” [Capitol Records], Becky Hill’s “Losing” [Parlophone Records], Tanika’s “Bad 4 U” [Virgin EMI Records] and Misha B’s “Homerun” [Relentless Records].

He also contributed to the next projects by Moko [Virgin EMI], Little Mix [Columbia], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Rudimental [Asylum], Melissa Steel [Atlantic] and Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Lily is expected to release her debut project later this year under Naughty Records in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection will feature songwriting contributions and productions from Naughty Boy, Two Inch Punch, Josh Record, Iain James, Jim Eliot, and Mojam (Mustafa Omer, James Murray).
