Marsha Ambrosius, Ne-Yo premiere ‘Without You’ music video

Marsha Ambrosius has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Without You” – which features Ne-Yo – marks the second promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, “Friends & Lovers,” out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was co-written by Stacy Barthe, whose credits include “Adore You” by Miley Cyrus [RCA Records], “Speak Ya Mind” by Estelle [Atlantic Records] and “Cheers (Drink to That)” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].

Production duties were handled by B.A.M., who is also responsible for “Autumn Leaves” by Chris Brown [RCA Records], “Sex Never Felt Better” by TGT [Atlantic Records] and “Silhouettes” by Kristal Lyndriette [Voltron Records].

Ambrosius recently appeared on the track the Anthony Hamilton-assisted “As,” taken from the soundtrack, “The Best Man Holiday.” She also co-wrote and features on Alicia Keys new single “Better You, Better Me.”

Alicia Keys announces new single ‘Better You, Better Me’ with Marsha Ambrosius

Alicia Keys has announced the details of her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Better You, Better Me” – which features Marsha Ambrosius – as her next promotional single.

The track was written by Keys and Ambrosius along with Ron Hanley and Steve “Ace” Mostyn, who also worked with the likes of Elle Varner [RCA Records], Emeli Sande [Virgin Records] and Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records].

Ambrosius previously teamed up with Keys on the track “Go Ahead,” taken from the latter’s studio album, “As I Am.”

Their next collaboration was in the shape of “With You,” lifted from the artist’s debut LP “Late Nights & Early Mornings.” That collection debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Kristal Lyndriette debuts new single ‘Silhouette’

Kristal Lyndriette has debuted her new single online.

“Silhouette” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album with Voltron Records.

The track was helmed by Kenyon Dixon (Faith Evans, Kelly Rowland), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Chris Brown, Mariah Carey) and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge (Kendrick Lamar, Marsha Ambrosius).

You may recall Lyndriette as a former member of R&B quartet RichGirl, along with Amber “Sevyn” Streeter, Audra Simmons and Christina “Brave” Williams.

The group was developed by super producer Rich Harrison, whose credits include “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Take Your Hand” by Usher [RCA Records] and “Get Right” by Jennifer Lopez [Epic Records].

Among the notable singles released by RichGirl were “24,” “He Ain’t With Me Now (Tho)” and “Swagger Right (featuring Fabolous).”

Meanwhile, Lyndriette released her debut EP “Proclamation” in December, 2011 via Globetrakkers Music Group. That collection yielded cuts including “Addicted,” “Ladies Wanna Party (featuring Gyrlhood)” and “Picture That.”

Chris Brown to release new album ‘X’ in November

Chris Brown has announced the new release date for his upcoming album.

The singer/songwriter will release “X” in the United States on November 19 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The set will be preceded by the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Autumn Leaves,” co-written by Eric Bellinger (Usher, Christina Milian) and produced by Brandon Alexander Hodge (RaVaughn, Marsha Ambrosius).

Other artists confirmed on “X” are Nicki Minaj [Young Money Records], Kelly Rowland [Republic Records], Wiz Khalifa [Atlantic Records], Brandy [RCA Records] and Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].

Production work on the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune” is handled by Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), Nathaniel “Danja” Hills (Jamie Foxx, Britney Spears), Thomas “Diplo” Pentz (Katy Perry, Sia Furler), Christopher “Drumma Boy” Gholson (Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild).

Chris Brown has announced the title of his new single online.

The singer/songwriter christened “Autumn Leaves” – which features Kendrick Lamar – as the fourth promotional single from his upcoming sixth studio album, “X,” out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track was co-written by Brown along with Leon “RoccStarr” Youngblood, whose also working on the next projects by Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Beyoncé [Columbia Records] and Keri Hilson [Interscope Records].

Production duties were handled by Brandon Alexander Hodge aka B.A.M., whose recent credits include “Without You” by Marsha Ambrosius featuring Ne-Yo [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Sex Never Felt Better” by TGT [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].

Other songs to appear on the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune” are “Fine China,” “Don’t Think They Know (featuring Aaliyah),” “Do Better (featuring Brandy),” “Lady in Glass Dress,” “Add Me In” and “Love More (featuring Nicki Minaj).

“Without You” – which features Ne-Yo – will be included on the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, “Friends & Lovers,” out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The Brandon Alexander Hodge produced-track was written by Marsha Ambrosius along with Stacy Barthe, whose currently putting the final touches on her still-untitled debut album with Homeschool Records / Motown Records.

As previously reported, The follow-up to 2011’s “Late Nights and Early Mornings” – will boast further contributions from Warren “Oak” Felder (Rihanna, Elle Varner), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Usher, Nicki Minaj), Andre Harris (Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake) and Eric Hudson (K. Michelle, Mary J. Blige).
