Banks reunites with Al Shux for new single “Underdog”

Banks has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Underdog” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh, who previously teamed up with BANKS on “Drowning” and “Fuck with Myself,” taken from 2014’s “Goddess” and 2016’s “The Altar,” respectively.

Other notable credits by Al Shux include Kelela’s “Take Me Apart,” Will Heard’s “I Better Love You,” Taya’s “Deeper,” Erik Hassle’s “If Your Man Only Knew,” Lianne La Havas’ “What You Don’t Do,” Kwabs’ “Saved,” Ella Henderson’s “Mirror Man,” and Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind.”

Meanwhile, Banks (real name Jillian Rose Banks) is expected to release her third studio collection – featuring the Jack Antonoff-produced “Crowded Places” – in 2018 via Universal Music Group / Harvest Records.

BANKS delivers new single “Crowded Places”

American singer/songwriter BANKS has delivered her new single online.

“Crowded Places” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by BANKS – born Jillian Banks – alongside regular collaborator Tim Anderson, who previously teamed up with the artist on singles “Fuck with Myself” and “Mind Games.”

Production duties on “Crowded Places” were handled by Jack Antonoff, whose other credits include Zayn Malik’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” Taylor Swift’s “Out of the Woods,” Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You,” Christina Perri’s “I Don’t Wanna Break,” Sara Bareilles’ “Brave,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Sweetie,” Troye Sivan’s “Heaven,” Lorde’s “Green Light,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Dope.”

BANKS’ latest album, 2016’s “The Altar,” peaked to number seventeen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered contributions from SOHN (“Gemini Feed”), DJ Dahi (“Trainwreck”), DannyBoyStyles (“Judas”), Ben Billions (“27 Hours”) and John Hill (“Poltergeist”).

BANKS shares music video for new single “Trainwreck”

BANKS has shared the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the Stephanie Haberman-directed clip for “Trainwreck” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (January 18, 2017).

The track was co-written by Jesse Rogg alongside the song’s producers Dacoury “DJ Dahi” Natche, Tim Anderson, and Aron Forbes.

BANKS’ latest studio collection “The Altar” – featuring previous promotional singles “Fuck With Myself,” “Gemini Feed,” “Mind Games” and “To the Hilt” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Other album contributors include Christopher “SOHN” Taylor, Jenna Andrews, Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh, John Hill, Ahmad “Belly” Balshe, Daniel “DannyBoyStyles” Schofield, and Benjamin “Ben Billions” Diehl.

BANKS has liberated her sophomore album online.

“The Altar” – featuring singles “Fuck with Myself,” “Gemini Feed,” “Mind Games” and “To the Hilt” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Harvest Records.

Amongst the musicians backing BANKS on “The Altar” are Al Shux, Jenna Andrews, SOHN, Tim Anderson, John Hill, Ben Billion$, DannyBoyStyles, Ahmad “Belly” Balshe, Chris Spilfogel, The ANMLS, and DJ Dahi.

BANKS’ debut studio collection, 2014’s “Goddess,” debuted at number 12 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Warm Water,” “Brain” and “Drowning.”

The singer-songwriter – real name Jillian Banks – posted the audio clip for “Gemini Feed” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (August 02, 2016).

Production duties on “Gemini Feed” – now available for download via iTunes – were handled by Christopher “SOHN” Taylor, who previously teamed up with BANKS on “Goddess” tracks “Alibi” and “Waiting Game.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, BANKS’ second studio collection “The Altar” – featuring lead single “Fuck With Myself” – will hit stores and digital outlets on September 30 via Harvest Records.

The singer-songwriter christened her second studio collection “The Altar” and will release it on September 30 via Harvest Records.

Lead single “Fuck With Myself” – now available for download via iTunes – was produced by Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh and Lindsey Ramey.

Other musicians backing BANKS on “The Altar” are DJ Dahi (Madonna), Jenna Andrews (Majid Jordan), SOHN (Erik Hassle), Ben Billion$ (Kelly Rowland), Danny “Styles” Schofield (Nicki Minaj), and Belly (The Weeknd).

The singer-songwriter posted the Philippa Rice-directed clip for “Fuck with Myself” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 13, 2016).

Production duties on “Fuck with Myself” – now available for download via iTunes – were handled by Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh and Lindsey Ramey.

The sophomore studio collection by BANKS – real name Jillian Rose Banks – is scheduled to arrive on September 30 via Harvest Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Goddess,” which peaked to number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
