Lennon Stella drafts Timbaland for new collaboration

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has drafted American record producer Timbaland for a new collaboration.

Timbaland recently produced “Filthy,” “Say Something,” “Young Man” and “Sauce,” taken from Justin Timberlake’s latest studio collection under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records, “Man of the Woods.”

Timbaland’s other credits include Aaliyah’s “Try Again,” Sam Smith’s “Pray,” Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” Rihanna’s “Rehab,” Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long,” Keri Hilson’s “Return the Favor,” Madonna’s “Miles Away,” Missy Elliot’s “Work It,” Beyonce’s “Partition,” and Chris Brown’s “Paper, Scissors, Rock.”

Meanwhile, Stella is expected to release her debut project later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional productions from Joel Little, Alex Hope, Robopop, Two Inch Punch, Jonny Lattimer, Stint, Pip Kembo, Tommy English, MNEK, Jesse Shatkin, Big Taste, Jason Evigan, Steve Mostyn, Alex Niceforo, Benny Cassette, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Noah Cyrus hits the studio with Emily Weisband, Big Taste for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Noah Cyrus has teamed with Emily Weisband and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt for a new collaboration.

Weisband recently co-wrote “Consequences” for Camila Cabello alongside Amy Wadge and Nicolle Galyon. The track appears on Cabello’s debut album “Camila,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Big Taste’s songwriting/production resume boasts works with Justin Bieber (“Company”), Madison Beer (“Home with You”), Dua Lipa (“Genesis”), Adam Lambert (“Two Fux”), Maty Noyes (“Falling Out of Love”), Jake Miller (“Superhuman”) and Phoebe Ryan (“Forgetting All About You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cyrus’ upcoming debut album “NC-17” – featuring the Savan Kotecha-penned / Max Martin and Ali Payami-produced single “We Are Fucked” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Benny Cassette, Stint, Two Inch Punch, Sasha Sloan, Jonathan Rotem, Noonie Bao, Sam Romans, and Jenna Andrews.

Noah Cyrus has released her new promotional single online.

“We Are Fucked” – featuring MØ – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Savan Kotecha, whose resume boasts additional works with Ariana Grande (“Side to Side”), Tori Kelly (“Nobody Love”), Ellie Goulding (“On My Mind”), Madonna (“Addicted”), Jennifer Lopez (“First Love”), Christina Aguilera (“Your Body”) and Britney Spears (“I Wanna Go”).

Production duties on “We Are Fucked” were handled by Max Martin and Ali Payami, who are also responsible for Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm,” Taylor Swift’s “Gorgeous,” Lana Del Rey’s “Lust for Life,” Nick Jonas’ “Under You,” and Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer.”

Noah Cyrus teams up with MØ for new promotional single “We Are F**ked”

Noah Cyrus has announced the details for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter christened “We Are F**ked” – featuring fellow recording artist MØ – on February 5th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Cyrus alongside Swedish hitmakers Max Martin (Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry), Savan Kotecha (Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly) and Ali Payami (Rita Ora, Liam Payne).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cyrus’ debut album “NC-17” – featuring previous singles “Again,” “Almost Famous,” “I’m Stuck,” “Stay Together” and “Cry” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS.

Lennon Stella signs new deal with RECORDS / Columbia Records

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has signed a new deal with RECORDS/Columbia Records and will release her upcoming debut project later this year.

“Lennon’s unique artistry, point of view, distinctive vocal ability and star-power is simply overwhelming,” says Barry Weiss, Partner & Co-Founder, RECORDS. “We’re super excited to have her here at RECORDS. I’m elated that Jenna Andrews (who does A&R for the label) brought her to us.”

“I feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people. There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of,” says Stella.

On the still-untitled collection, Stella has worked with songwriters including Amy Wadge, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Sarah Aarons, Trey Campbell, Sean Douglas, Max McElligott, Ali Tamposi, Chloe Angelides, Emily Warren, Fiona Bevan, Caitlyn Scarlett, Ella Henderson, Nate Cyphert, Parson James, Sam Fisher, Bipolar Sunshine, Elliphant, Ashlyn Wilson, and Jenna Andrews.

Production duties on “Almost Famous” were handled by Dan Wilson, who is also responsible for Adele’s “Someone Like You,” Taylor Swift’s “Come Back … Be Here,” LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed,” Foxes’ “Devil Side,” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” and Florence & The Machine’s “Conductor.”

The American singer/songwriter posted the acoustic rendition of “Almost Famous” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Ilsey Juber, whose other credits include Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age,” Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” Nick Jonas’ “Unhinged,” Beyonce’s “All Night,” Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love,” Jake Miller’s “Overnight,” and K. Michelle’s “If It Ain’t Love.”

Production duties on “Almost Famous” were handled by Dan Wilson, who is also responsible for Adele’s “Someone Like You,” John Legend’s “You and I (Nobody in the World),” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” Taylor Swift’s “Come Back … Be Here,” Foxes’ “Devil Side,” and LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed.”
