Avril Lavigne has worked with Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem for her next album.

The American record producer and songwriter is known for helming singles performed by Rihanna (“SOS”), Charlie Puth (“Dangerously”), Fefe Dobson (“Stuttering”), Jason Derulo (“Whatcha Say”), Gwen Stefani (“Used to Love You”), Sean Kingston (“Beautiful Girls”), Leona Lewis (“Better in Time”), Nicki Minaj (“Fly”), Iyaz (“Replay”) and Cover Drive (“Lick Ya Down”).

Rotem’s extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters including Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Kara DioGuardi, Marty James, Cathy Dennis, James Fauntleroy, Andrea Martin, Wayne Hector, Frankie Storm, Sean Douglas, Lyrica Anderson, Ross Golan, Tiffany Fred, Harold Lilly, and Stefanie Fair.

Meanwhile, Lavigne has parted ways with her former label Epic Records and is expected to release sixth studio collection later this year via BMG Records.

The still-untitled collection follows Lavigne’s 2013 self-titled album, which peaked to number five on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Here’s to Never Growing Up” and “Rock n Roll.”

Jason Derulo has tapped the songwriting and production services of Stephan Moccio for his upcoming fifth album.

The Canadian musician is known for his works with major artists including The Weeknd (“Earned It”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), Celine Dion (“A New Day Has Come”), Seal (“Daylight Saving”), Jon Bellion (“Fashion”), Ne-Yo (“Ballerina”), Maty Noyes (“London”), Skylar Grey (“I Know You”), Lea Michele (“Truce”) and James Blunt (“Don’t Give Me Those Eyes”).

Fans of Moccio’s work should keep an eye on the next projects by Skrillex, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Stanaj, Julia Michaels, Tori Kelly, Jasmine Thompson, Conrad Sewell, Jessie Ware, Avery Wilson, Emeli Sande, Labrinth, Clare Maguire, Kiesza, Lykki Li, and Bryan Adams.

Jason Derulo has tapped Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen for his upcoming fifth album.

Jussifer recently co-wrote and produced “Music,” “I Can Only,” “FAB” and “Edibles” on Jojo’s latest album, “Mad Love,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Michaels previously co-wrote and provided guest vocals on “Trade Hearts,” taken from Derulo’s 2014 album “Everything is Four.”

Alongside regular songwriting partner Tranter, the Republic Records-signed artist has also helmed singles for Britney Spears (“Slumber Party”), Gwen Stefani (“Misery”), Justin Bieber (“Sorry”) and Selena Gomez (“Hands to Myself”).

Derulo, on the other hand, is expected to release his next studio collection in 2017 via Beluga Heights / Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts additional alliances with Jonathan Rotem (Kelly Clarkson), Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph (Rihanna), Jason “Pooh Bear” Boyd (Rita Ora) and Verse Simmonds (Chris Brown).

Jason Derulo has unleashed the music video for his new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “If It Ain’t Love” to his YouTube channel on Monday (May 09, 2016).

Production duties on “If It Ain’t Love” – now available for download via iTunes –
were collectively handled by The Monsters & the Strangerz (Fifth Harmony, Bebe Rexha) and Ian Kirkpatrick (Britney Spears, Nick Jonas).

The track was also co-written by Lindy Robbins (Selena Gomez, Craig David) and Talay Riley (Dua Lipa, Keri Hilson).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Derulo’s upcoming fifth studio collection – featuring previous single “Naked” – is expected to be released later this year through Beluga Heights and Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Everything is 4,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered singles including “Want to Want Me” and “Cheyenne.”

Other musicians backing Derulo on the new album are Jonathan Rotem (Gwen Stefani, John Legend), Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland), Infamous (Drake, Lil Wayne) and Smash David (Tinashe, Sean Combs).

On the songwriting front, Derulo recently co-penned “Me Too” for Meghan Trainor along with Jacob Kasher Hindlin and Eric “Rick Reed” Frederic. The track appears on Trainor’s forthcoming sophomore album, “Thank You.”

Poo Bear – real name Jason Boyd – is responsible for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean” [Def Jam], Jack Ü’s “Where Are U Now” [Mad Decent], Chris Brown’s “She Ain’t You” [RCA] and Kelly Rowland’s “Work” [Columbia].

Meanwhile, Rotem previously co-wrote and produced Derulo’s singles “Whatcha Say,” “In My Head,” “Ridin’ Solo,” “What If,” “The Sky’s the Limit” and “Pick Up the Pieces.”

Derulo, on the other hand, is expected to release his fifth studio collection – featuring singles “Naked” and “If It Ain’t Love” – later this year through Beluga Heights and Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s “Everything is 4,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered singles including “Want to Want Me” and “Cheyenne.”

Jason Derulo has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Cheyenne” to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (June 30, 2015).

“Cheyenne” was co-written by Derulo along with Lindy Robbins (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato), Sam Martin (David Guetta, Nick Jonas), Jason Evigan (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson) and Ian Kirkpatrick (Hilary Duff, Christina Aguilera).

Production duties were handled by The Monsters and the Strangerz, who are responsible for Austin Mahone’s “Dirty Work” [Interscope], Maroon 5’s “It Was Always You” [222] and Lea Michele’s “On My Way” [Columbia].

Derulo’s latest album “Everything is 4” – featuring previous hit single “Want to Want Me” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Beluga Heights and Warner Bros Records.
