
Jason Derulo has teamed up with Happy Perez for a new collaboration.
The American record producer – born Nathan Perez – is responsible for Camila Cabello’s “Crying in the Club,” Daley’s “Love Somebody,” Mariah Carey’s “Beautiful,” Halsey’s “Now or Never,” Frank Ocean’s “We All Try,” MGK’s “At My Best,” K. Michelle’s “Pay My Bills,” Ella Henderson’s “First Time,” Ben Stevenson’s “Summer Dealer,” and Miguel’s “Sure Thing.”
His extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters Sia Furler, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, Marty James, Candice Nelson, Guordan Banks, Meleni Smith, Claude Kelly, Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, Elijah Blake, Anastacia Whiteacre, Tiyon Mack, Kate Nash, Balewa Muhammad, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Ezekiel Lewis, and Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith.
Meanwhile, Derulo is expected to release his fifth studio collection – featuring the Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign-assisted lead single “Swalla” – is expected to arrive on July 7 via Beluga Heights and Warner Brothers Records.
The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional productions from Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Rihanna), Tre Jean-Marie (Jacob Banks), Knightstarr (Craig David), Andrew Cedar (Charlie Puth), Jussifer (Skylar Stecker), Nova Wav (Kehlani), Laconic (Cover Drive), Shama Joseph (Chris Brown), Gladius (Jake Miller), Jeff Gitty (Kelsey Lu) and Axident (Justin Bieber).
