Tinashe reveals music video for new single “No Drama”

Tinashe has revealed the music video for her new promotional single online.

The visual clip for “No Drama” – featuring Offset – was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (January 18, 2018).

Co-written by Tinashe and Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard alongside Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian songwriting/production duo Stargate; “No Drama” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” – featuring upcoming promotional singles “Me So Bad” and “Faded Love” – later this year via RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Aquarius” reportedly boasts additional alliances with Fred Ball, Eyelar, Arrow Benjamin, Gabrielle Nowee, MNEK, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Benny Cassette, Sasha Sloan, Jonas Jeberg, Noonie Bao, Sam Hook, Ester Dean, Charlie Handsome, Julia Michaels, BloodPop, Justin Tranter, Ty Dolla $ign, Hitmaka, A1, Prince Chrishan, and Nova Wav.

Tinashe unleashes new promotional single “No Drama”

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“No Drama” – featuring Offset – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard, whose other credits include Camila Cabello’s “Havana,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Era Istrefi’s “No I Love Yous,” Nicki Minaj’s “Regret in Your Tears,” Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish,” Halsey’s “Now or Never,” and Maroon 5’s “What Lovers Do.”

Production duties on “No Drama” were handled by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Norwegian duo Stargate, who are also responsible for Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Daya’s “New,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Rachel Platten’s “Broken Glass,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got Time,” and Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty.”

Charlotte Lawrence hits the studio with Jenna Andrews, Benny Cassette

American singer/songwriter Charlotte Lawrence has teamed up with Jenna Andrews and Benny Cassette for a new collaboration.

Andrews’ songwriting resume boasts works with Noah Cyrus (“I’m Stuck”), Jessie J (“Personal”), Tori Kelly (“Bottled Up”), Marsha Ambrosius (“Run”), Tamia (“Love Life”), Jordan Fisher (“All About Us”), Majid Jordan (“Make it Work”) and Skyler Stecker (“Bring Me to Life”).

Meanwhile, Cassette (born Benedetto Rotondi) is responsible for producing The Band Perry’s “Live Forever,” Mary Lambert’s “Secrets,” Wynter Gordon’s “Bleeding Out,” Stacy Barthe’s “Live for Today,” Miguel’s “NWA,” Allen Stone’s “Barbwire,” Moxie’s “Dirty Lights,” and Dev’s “Honey Dip.”

Lawrence, on the other hand, is expected to release her upcoming project later this year via Human Re Sources.

Her current promotional single “Sleep Talking” – which was co-written by Koko LaRoo alongside Louis Schoorl and Marco “MAG” Borrerro – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Featuring French Montana, “Me So Bad” was co-written by Tyrone “Ty Dolla $ign” Griffin Jr. alongside Christopher “Prince Chrishan” Dotson, Melvin Moore, Christian “Hitmaka” Ward, Floyd “A1” Bentley, and Andre Proctor.

“Faded Love” – featuring Future – was co-written by Alexandra “Sasha Sloan” Yatchenko and Jonnali “Noonie Bao” Parmenius alongside Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate.

Meanwhile, Tinashe is scheduled to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection “Joyride” later this year via RCA Records.

Chloe x Halle release new promotional single “Grown”

American R&B duo Chloe x Halle, composed of twins Chloe and Halle Bailey, have released their new promotional single.

The self-penned and produced “Grown” – taken from the upcoming American sitcom series “Grown-ish” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Chloe x Halle’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive some time next year via Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Benny Cassette (Noah Cyrus), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora), Tayla Parx (Cassie), Happy Perez (Frank Ocean) and Nova Wav (Britney Spears).

Lily Allen christens “Trigger Bang” as lead single from new album

Lily Allen has announced the details for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Trigger Bang” – featuring Giggs – as the lead promotional cut from her upcoming album under Parlophone Records, tentatively entitled “The Fourth Wall.”

Released in 2014; Allen’s previous studio collection “Sheezus” topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked to number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. That project also spawned three singles in the shape of “Hard Out Here,” “Air Balloon” and “As Long As I Got You.”

Among the songwriters and producers expected to appear on “The Fourth Album” are Mark Ronson, Jenna Andrews, Benny Cassette, Andrea “Nylo” Landis, BloodPop, Chloe Angelides, Tev’n, Sarah Hudson, Dre Skull, Liana Banks, Ari PenSmith, Rodaidh McDonald, and Sam Duckworth.

It is also important to note that Allen co-wrote “Mr. C” for Nina Nesbitt alongside Karen Poole and Steve Mac, as well as “Can’t Dance without You” for Professor Green alongside Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of UK songwriting/production team TMS.

American singer/songwriter Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, has drafted Shungudzo and MNEK for a new song entitled “Eat You Up” (as per ASCAP Reportery).

Having contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson, Liza Owen, Alina Baraz and Sabina Ddumba; Shungudzo (aka Alexandra Govere) is responsible for co-penning Little Mix’s “Touch,” The Chainsmokers’ “It Won’t Kill Ya,” Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” and Jessie Ware’s “Your Domino.”

Meanwhile, recent songwriting/production credits by MNEK include Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” 5 After Midnight’s “Up in Here,” Zara Larsson’s “What They Say,” Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Raye’s “You Don’t Know Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Instruction,” Becky Hill’s “Unpredictable,” and Olly Murs’ “Private.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tinashe is expected to release her sophomore studio collection “Joyride” early next year via RCA Records.
