Amer Mark releases debut mini-album “3:33 am”

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Amber Mark has released her debut mini-album online.

The self-penned and self-produced “3:33 am” – featuring “Regret,” “Lose My Cool,” “SPACE,” “Journey into the Unknown,” “Monsoon,” “Can You Hear Me?” and “Way Back” – is now available via via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mark is currently working on her next project with the likes of Two Inch Punch (Anne-Marie, Ella Eyre), Sarah Aarons (Zedd, Mabel McVey), Noah Breakfast (Tory Lanez, Kanye West) and Mark Ralph (AlunaGeorge, Clean Bandit).

The still-untitled collection is expected to arrive later this year via Jasmine Music in partnership with PMR Records and Virgin EMI Records.

Kacy Hill unleashes two new singles “Hard to Love” and “Like a Woman”

British singer, songwriter, and fashion model Kacy Hill has unleashed two new promotional singles online.

“Hard to Love,” and “Like a Woman” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Like a Woman” were collectively handled by DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Ella Mai), Terrace Martin (Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco) and DJ Dodger Stadium (Khalid, Kanye West).

“Hard to Love,” on the other hand, was produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, Robbie Williams) alongside the song’s co-writer Oskar “Sikow” Engstrom (Erik Hassle, Giorgio Moroder).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill is expected is to release her first studio collection – featuring previous single “Lion” – later this year via Getting Out of Your Dreams (GOOD Music) / Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith), BURNS (Charli XCX), Alex Hope (Troye Sivan), Matt Parad (Kenzie May), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles), Fred Ball (Rihanna), BloodPop (HAIM) and Matthew Hales (Lianne La Havas).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Autumn Rowe (Leona Lewis), Isa Machine (Maxine Ashley), Natalie Hemby (Labrinth), Andrew Wyatt (Dua Lipa), Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys) and Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele).

Kamille teams up with Klas Ahlund for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Camille Purcell, professionally known as Kamille, has teamed with Klas Ahlund for a new collaboration.

The Swedish songwriter, record producer, and guitarist is responsible for Robyn’s “Konichiwa Bitches,” Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me,” Madonna’s “Some Girls,” Kylie Minogue’s “Speakerphone,” Charli XCX’s “Roll with Me,” Jordin Sparks’ “See My Side,” Tove Lo’s “Timebomb,” Kesha’s “Sleazy,” Usher’s “Numb,” Ellie Goulding’s “Devotion,” and Katy Perry’s “Walking on Air.”

Ahlund’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters and fellow producers including Bloodshy & Avant, Cathy Dennis, Max Martin, Ali Payami, Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, Arnthor Birgisson, Kool Kojak, Chiara Hunter, Alex Purple, William Orbit, Mr. Bangladesh, Adam Baptiste, Eric Bellinger, Martin Kierszenbaum, Clarence Coffee Jr., Andrea Martin, and Wrabel.

Meanwhile, Kamille is expected to release her debut studio collection later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts productions from Chris Loco (Jessie Reyez, Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Amber Mark, Elijah Blake), MNEK (Dua Lipa, Becky Hill) and Goldfingers (Fleur East, John Newman).

On the songwriting front, Purcell has contributed to the next releases by The Script, David Guetta, Louis Tomlinson, Jess Glynne, Ella Henderson, Rita Ora, Tamera Foster, Sigala, Era Istrefi, Calum Scott, Wiz Kid, and Ella Eyre.

Camille Purcell has teased a new collaboration with The Script.

Purcell’s songwriting resume boasts credits with Little Mix (“Shout Out to My Ex”), Olly Murs (“You Don’t Know Love”), Fleur East (“Sax”), Sam Bailey (“Treasure”), Ella Henderson (“Glow”), Leona Lewis (“Mr. Right”), Roll Deep (“All or Nothing”), Jessie J (“Hero”), Lena (“Keep on Living”), The Saturdays (“What About Us”) and Sigma (“Find Me”).

She’s also working on her upcoming debut album under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records with the likes of Chris Loco (RAYE, Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware), Dantae Johnson (Vanessa White, Kieran Alleyne) and Goldfingers (John Newman, Liza Owen).

Meanwhile, The Script – composed of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power – are expected to release their fifth studio collection later this year via Phonogenic Records and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project – featuring additional songwriting contributions and productions from Toby Gad, JHart, and Greg Wells – serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “No Sound Without Silence,” which topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked to number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Fans of Purcell’s songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by Jess Glynne, David Guetta, Rita Ora, Liza Owen, Mollie King, Sigala, Tamera Foster, Calum Scott, Dua Lipa, Wiz Kid, and Ella Eyre.

Swedish singer/songwriter Janice Kavander has liberated her new single online.

“Love You Like I Should” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Janice alongside James “Jay” Norton, whose other credits include Clare Maguire’s “The Valley,” DJ S.K.T’s “All I Wanna Do,” Jax Jones’ “Celebrate,” Duke Dumont’s “Ocean Drive,” Symphony Hall’s “One Night Stand,” and High Contrast’s “Questions.”

Production duties on “Love You Like I Should” were handled by Andreas Soderlund, whose resume boasts further works with artists / acts including Feels Like Violence, Lilly Ahlberg, Erik Rapp, Grace Carter, Duncan de Moor, Rhys Lewis, and Elias & The Wizzkids.

Sam Smith drafts Timbaland for sophomore album

British singer/songwriter Sam Smith has drafted the production services of Timbaland for his upcoming sophomore album.

The American record producer, singer, songwriter, rapper and DJ – born Timothy Mosley – is known for his works with Missy Elliot (“Work It”), Aaliyah (“Try Again”), Justin Timberlake (“Cry Me a River”), Nelly Furtado (“Maneater”), Rihanna (“Rehab”) and Beyonce (“Drunk in Love”).

Timbaland’s extensive resume boasts further works with Ginuwine (“Pony”), Adina Howard (“Sexual Needs”), Nicole Wray (“Make it Hot”), Keri Hilson (“Return the Favor”), Demi Lovato (“All Night Long”), Jennifer Hudson (“Pocketbook”), Kelis (“Running Mate”), Brandy (“Drum Life”), Solange (“Get Together”) and Destiny’s Child (“Get on the Bus”).

Meanwhile, Smith is expected to release his sophomore studio collection in late September via Method Records and Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour” reportedly boasts additional productions from Jimmy Napes (Eliza Doolittle), Two Inch Punch (Rag’n’Bone Man), Malay (Frank Ocean), Cass Lowe (AlunaGeorge), Martin Sjolie (Nathan Sykes), Paul Epworth (Adele) and Joel Little (Ellie Goulding).

Noah Cyrus confirms details for new single

Noah Cyrus has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Stay Together” as the second promotional cut from her debut album, “NC-17,” and will release it on April 14 via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Brit” Burton (Jessie J, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Emily Warren (The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes).

Production duties on “Stay Together” were handled by British musician Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, who also contributed the next projects by Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Taya, John Newman, Louisa Johnson, Marlon Roudette, GNASH, Conrad Sewell, Sigma, Anne-Marie, KStewart, Liam Payne, Astrid S, Chromeo, JP Cooper, Liza Owen, Kat Dahlia, Louis Tomlinson, Mabel McVey, DAECOLM, Emma Bale, and Fifth Harmony.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “NC-17” – featuring the Labrinth-assisted “Make Me (Cry)” and Ilsey Juber-penned / Dan Wilson-produced “Almost Famous” – will arrive later this year via Songs Music Publishing / RECORDS.
