Marsha Ambrosius reveals details for third album “Nyla”

Marsha Ambrosius has revealed the details for her upcoming album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her third studio collection “Nyla” and will release it on September 28 via Human Re Sources / eOne Music.

Current promotional single “Flood” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2014’s “Friends and Lovers,” Ambrosius has teamed up with The Stereotypes, Ivan “Orthodox” Barias, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Benny Cassette, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, and Bernard “Focus” Edwards Jr.

As a songwriter, Ambrosius is known co-writing tracks performed by Michael Jackson (“Butterflies”), Alicia Keys (“Go Ahead”), Mario (“Why”), LeToya Luckett (“Matter”), Sterling Simms (“Let Her Go”), Jamie Foxx (“Number One”), Raven Symone (“Go Ahead”) and H.E.R. (“Wait for It”).

Marsha Ambrosius releases new single “Luh Ya”

British singer, songwriter, and record producer Marsha Ambrosius has released her new promotional single online.

“Luh Ya” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Luh Ya” were collectively handled by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels and Edgar “JV” Etienne, who are also behind La’Porsha Renae’s “Good Woman,” Pia Mia’s “We Should Be Together,” Keyshia Cole’s “You,” Ciara’s “Stuck on You,” and Fifth Harmony’s “In Love with a Monster.”

Ambrosius’ upcoming third studio collection, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Human-Re-Sources Records.

The still-untitled project, which serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Friends & Lovers,” reportedly delivers further productions from Eric Hudson (Mariah Hudson), Benny Cassette (Kandace Springs), Naughty Boy (Emeli Sande) and Bernard “Focus” Edwards Jr. (Christina Milian).

Marsha Ambrosius teams up with Benny Cassette for new collaboration

Marsha Ambrosius has teamed up with Benny Cassette for a new collaboration.

“If you know how amazing @MarshaAmrbrosius is, then you know how happy I was to have her come in and get on a record today,” the American music producer and songwriter tweeted on Saturday (February 04, 2017).

Cassette’s resume boasts credits with The Band Perry (“Stay in the Dark”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”), Wynter Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Stacy Barthe (“Live for Today”), Allen Stone (“Barbwire”), Moxie (“Dirty Lights”), Dev (“Honey Dip”), Lil Debbie (“California Sweetheart”) and Miguel (“NWA”).

Amongst the other artists Cassette has worked with are Elle Varner, Becky Hill, Kandace Springs, Raleigh Ritchie, Sevyn Streeter, Ferras, Keri Hilson, Jacob Banks, Pussy Riot, Lily Allen, Taylor Momsen, and Chloe x Halle.

Meanwhile, Ambrosius is expected to release her third studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Eric Hudson (Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole), Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Kelly Rowland), Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Emeli Sande) and Focus (Amerie, Jennifer Lopez).

Ambrosius’ previous studio collection, 2014’s “Friends & Lovers,” debuted at number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “Run” and “Stronger.”

Ameriie releases new mini-collection “Drive”

Ameriie has released her new EP online.

“Drive” – featuring 6 new songs in the shape of “Focus,” “Thru the Stars,” “Sing About It,” “Trouble with Love,” “Take the Blame” and “Out Loud” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The mini-collection also boasts production duties from Rich Harrison (Beyonce, Toni Braxton), Mike City (Usher, Jamie Foxx), Focus (Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez) and The Buchanans (Mashonda, Lupe Fiasco).

Ameriie’s last studio collection, 2009’s “In Love & War,” peaked to number three on the US Billboard Top R&B / Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Why R U” and the Trey Songz-assisted “Pretty Brown.”
