Tamera Foster hits the studio with Swizz Beatz, Naughty Boy, Mojam

British singer/songwriter Tamera Foster has recorded new music with Naughty Boy, Mojam, and Swizz Beatz.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Naughty Boy release or Foster’s upcoming debut album.

In the past couple of years, Swizz Beatz – real name Kasseem Dean – has produced Alicia Keys’ “New Day” [RCA], Nicki Minaj’s “Roman’s Revenge” [Cash Money] and Whitney Houston’s “Million Dollar Bill” [Arista].

Meanwhile, Mojam – composed of members James Murray and Mustafa Omer – have helmed songs for Sinead Harnett (“Do It Anyway”), Conor Maynard (“Talking About”) and James Arthur (“Get Down”).

Finally, Naughty Boy’s current single “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” – featuring vocals from Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin – is now available for download via iTunes. The track was co-written by Carla Marie Williams and Jonny Coffer.

He also contributed to the next projects by Emeli Sande [Capitol], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Tanika [Virgin EMI], Ava Lily [Naughty Records], Pia Mia [Interscope], Cover Drive [TBA] and Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Foster’s first studio collection will be released in 2016 through Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music.

Among the musicians associated with the still-untitled project are Future Cut, Camille Purcell, Happy Perez, Jin Jin, MNEK, Talay Riley, Chris Loco, Iain James, Steve Mac, Chelcee Grimes, Mr. Hudson, and Komi Hakam.

Ava Lily covers “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” by Naughty Boy

Ava Lily has shared a new cover video online.

The British singer/songwriter posted her rendition of “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” to YouTube on Friday (September 18, 2015).

“Runnin’ (Lost it All)” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Naughty Boy and Arrow Benjamin along with Carla Marie Williams (Alesha Dixon, Kylie Minogue) and Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Jess Glynne).

The Beyonce-assisted track also marks the first promotional cut from Naughty Boy’s upcoming second album and follow-up to 2013’s “Hotel Cabana.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lily is currently working on her debut EP under Naughty Records in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly features contributions from Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre), Iain James (Little Mix), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Laura Dockrill (Karen Harding), Jim Eliot (Leona Lewis) and Mojam (Emeli Sande).

Naughty Boy has announced the title for his new single.

The British record producer and songwriter christened “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album.

“Runnin’ (Lose It All)” – featuring vocals from Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin – was co-written by Carla Marie Williams (Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays) and Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer (Leona Lewis, Jess Glynne).

Naughty Boy’s next studio collection – delivering further guest appearances from Emeli Sande and Ella Eyre – is expected to be released later this year through Naughty Records and Virgin EMI Records.

His first album, 2013’s “Hotel Cabana,” peaked to number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned collaborations with Gabrielle (“Hollywood”), Sam Smith (“La La La”), Ed Sheeran (“Top Floor”) and Wiz Khalifa (“Think About It”).

On the production front, Naughty Boy has contributed to the next projects by Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Ava Lily [Virgin EMI], Tanika [Tim & Danny Music] and Cover Drive [TBA].

Boots teams up with Deradoorian for new single “Aquaria”

Boots has debuted his new single online.

The singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer posted the audio clip for “Aquaria” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (August 20, 2015).

“Aquaria” features vocals from Deradoorian, who is best known for her work with Dirty Projectors from 2007 to 2012. Her debut solo album, “The Expanding Flower Planet,” is now available for download via iTunes.

Meanwhile, Boots – real name Jordan Asher – will release his third album of the same name on November 13 through Columbia Records.

Furthermore, he co-wrote and produced FKA twigs’ latest mini-collection “M3LLI55X” along with fellow musician Timmaz “Tic” Zolleyn.

His other credits include Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” [Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records], Run the Jewels’ “Lie, Cheat, Steal” [Mass Appeal Records] and Kelela’s “The Message” [Cherry Coffee Music].

Nicki Minaj has premiered “The Pinkprint Movie” online.

The rapper, singer and songwriter posted the 16-minue film – which is divided into three chapters: “The Crying Game,” “I Lied” and “Grand Piano” – to her official YouTube page on Friday (December 19, 2014).

Songwriters and producers on these tracks include Ester Dean, Mike WiLL Made It, Jessie Ware, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Steve “Aceface” Mostyn, will.i.am, Keith Harris, and Daniel “Kane Beatz” Johnson.

Minaj’s latest album “The Pinkprint” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

The project also includes previous promotional cuts “Pills N’ Potions,” “Anaconda” and “Only” featuring Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown.

Other artists backing Minaj on “The Pinkprint” are Beyonce (“Feeling Myself”), Ariana Grande (“Get on Your Knees”), Skylar Grey (“Bed of Lies”), Jeremih (“Favorite”) and Meek Mill (“Buy a Heart”).

Nicki Minaj has unwrapped the official tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The rapper, singer and songwriter will release her third studio collection “The Pinkprint” on December 15 via Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

Current single “Only” – which features Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown – is now available for download via iTunes (US). The track was helmed by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, JMike and Rocky City (siblings Theron and Royce Thomas).

Other artists backing Minaj on “The Pinkprint” are Beyonce (“Feeling Myself”), Ariana Grande (“Get on Your Knees”), Jeremih (“Favorite”), Meek Mill (“Buy a Heart”) and Skylar Grey (“Bed of Roses”).

Charli XCX confirms new album “Sucker”

Charli XCX has confirmed the details for her upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter dubbed her new studio collection “Sucker” and will release it on October 21 via Neon Gold / Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated project is preceded by new single “Break the Rules,” for which the music video has recently been shot in Los Angeles with Alex Lee and Kyle Wightman of BRTHR Films.

Among the musicians backing XCX – born Charlotte Aitchison – on the follow-up to 2013’s “True Romance” are Stargate (Beyonce, Rita Ora), John Hill (Rihanna, Mikky Ekko) and Patrik Berger (Icona Pop, Lana Del Rey).
