Chromeo draft Sean Douglas, Jason Evigan for new promotional single “Juice”

Canadian electro funk duo Chromeo (aka David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel) have released their new single online.

“Juice” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Sean Douglas and Jason Evigan, who are also responsible for Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty,” Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack,” Kat Graham’s “Power,” David Guetta’s “What I Did for Love,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Jessie J’s “Said Too Much,” Alyxx Dione’s “Chingalinga,” Nick Jonas’ “Champagne Problems,” and Pitbull’s “Options.”

Meanwhile, Chromeo’s upcoming fifth studio collection “Head Over Heels” is expected to arrive early next year via Big Beat / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” reportedly delivers further alliances with Digital Farm Animals, Lindy Robbins, Ian Kirkpatrick, Priscilla Renea, Andrew Jackson, Scott Harris, Ammar Malik, and MNEK.

Raphael Saadiq graces new album by Chromeo

Chromeo have teased a new collaboration with Raphael Saadiq.

“The god @raphael_saadiq laced us too. People don’t even know how incredible of a bass player he is. We got a bunch some of our idols on this album,” the Canadian electro-funk duo posted on Instagram on Saturday (June 17, 2017).

Saadiq’s recent songwriting and production credits include Solange’s “Cranes in the Sky,” Usher’s “Champions,” Andra Day’s “Cheers to the Fall,” Miguel’s “Flesh,” and Adrian Marcel’s “Eyes Don’t Lie.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with Joss Stone (“Tell Me ‘Bout It”), D’Angelo (“Lady”), TLC (“So So Dumb”), Kelis (“80s Joint”), Mary J. Blige (“Color”), Kelly Price (“So Sweet”), Teedra Moses (“Take Me”), Alicia Keys (“Lesson Learned”) and Whitney Houston (“Fine”).

Meanwhile, Chromeo – consisting of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel – are expected to drop their new album later this year via Last Gang Records / Big Beat Records / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” reportedly delivers further productions from Jason Evigan (Enrique Iglesias), Digital Farm Animals (Rita Ora), Kaytranada (Craig David), Ian Kirkpatrick (Selena Gomez), Illangelo (Emeli Sande), Ariel Rechtshaid (Kylie Minogue) and MNEK (Dua Lipa).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo), Ross Golan (Charlie Puth), Priscilla Renea (Nick Jonas), Sean Douglas (Big Boi), Andrew Jackson (Sean Paul), Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys), Scott Harris (The Chainsmokers) and Ammar Malik (Ed Sheeran).

Sean Douglas has hinted at a new collaboration with Chromeo.

“Joined a band today. @funky.larry, @peethugg said you’d be cool with it,” Douglas posted to Instagram on Wednesday (October 26, 2016).

The hit songwriter’s resume boasts works with Thomas Rhett (“Die a Happy Man”), Madonna (“Ghosttown”), Nick Jonas (“Levels”), Jason Derulo (“Get Ugly”), Chris Brown (“Zero”) and Demi Lovato (“Heart Attack”).

Douglas also contributed to the next releases by Ella Eyre [Virgin EMI], Bebe Rexha [Warner Brothers], Enrique Iglesias [Republic], David Guetta [Parlophone] and Icona Pop [TEN Music Group].

Meanwhile, Chromeo – consisting of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel – are expected to drop their new album in 2017 via Last Gang Records / Big Beat Records / Atlantic Records.

Evigan recently co-penned and / or produced songs for Nick Jonas (“Champagne Problems”), Jon Bellion (“Morning in America”), Demi Lovato (“Old Ways”), and Chantal Kreviazuk (“Meant for This”).

He also contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson [Syco], Britney Spears [RCA], Bebe Rexha [Warner Brothers], Enrique Iglesias [Republic], David Guetta [Parlophone], Kiiara [Atlantic], and Ella Eyre [Virgin EMI].

Alex Newell has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The actor-singer posted the Derek Dunn-assisted visual clip for “Basically Over You” to his YouTube channel on Monday (March 28, 2016).

Production duties on “Basically Over You” were handled by MNEK, whose recent credits include Rudimental’s “We the Generation” [Asylum], Blonde’s “Feel Good (It’s Alright)” [Parlophone] and Karen Harding’s “Say Something” [Capitol].

The British hitmaker – real name Uzoechi Emenike – also contributed to the next projects by Zara Larsson [Epic], Jojo [Atlantic], Tamera Foster [Syco], Becky Hill [Parlophone] and KStewart [Warner Brothers].

Meanwhile, Newell’s debut mini-collection “Power” – featuring previous single “This Ain’t Over” – is now available for download via Big Beat Records.

Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo added Digital Farm Animals and Andrew Jackson to the list of contributors for their new album.

Digital Farm Animals – real name Nick Gale – is responsible for producing / co-writing Dua Lipa’s “Be the One” [Warner Brothers], Alex Newell’s “Devilish” [Big Beat] and Rudimental’s “All That Love” [Asylum].

Meanwhile, Jackson’s songwriting resume includes works with Ben Haenow (“All Yours”), Pixie Lott (“Cry and Smile”) and Alex Newell (“This Ain’t Over”).

Chromeo, on the other hand, are expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” later this year through Last Gang Records in partnership with Big Beat Records and Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project features further contributions from Ian Kirkpatrick (Justin Bieber, Fleur East), Priscilla Renea (Rihanna, Mariah Carey), Ross Golan (Charli XCX, Ariana Grande) and MNEK (Madonna, Kylie Minogue).

Alex Newell has confirmed the details for his new single.

The actor-singer-songwriter christened “Basically Over You” as the second promotional cut from his debut mini-collection, “Power.”

“Basically Over You” was written and produced by fellow recording artist MNEK, whose other credits include Madonna (“Hold Tight”), Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”), Naughty Boy (“Pardon Me”) and Gorgon City (“Here for You”).

Meanwhile, “Power” – featuring previous single “This Ain’t Over” – is now available for download via Big Beat Records.

Alex Newell has revealed the details for his upcoming debut EP.

The actor-singer will release “Power” – featuring five new songs including “Shame,” “Basically Over You (B.O.Y),” “Devilish” and a cover of Sigma’s “Nobody to Love” – on February 19 through Big Beat Records.

Lead single “This Ain’t Over” – now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets – was co-written by Andrew Jackson (Ben Haenow, John Legend) and produced by LDN Noise (Chris Brown, Nathan Sykes).

“Power” delivers additional alliances with MNEK (Rudimental), Diane Warren (Beyonce), Nile Rodgers (Madonna), Red Triangle (Cheryl), Karen Harding (Zak Abel), Digital Farm Animals (Dua Lipa), and Tom Aspaul (Little Mix).

The actor-singer posted the audio clip for “This Ain’t Over” to his YouTube channel on Friday (January 14, 2016).

“This Ain’t Over” marks the first promotional cut from the artist’s EP, “Power,” which will hit online outlets on February 19 through Big Beat Records.

The Knocks have shared the music video for their new single online.

The American electronic music duo – composed of Benjamin “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson – posted the visual clip for “Collect My Love” to their official YouTube channel on Thursday (August 27, 2015).

“Collect My Love” – boasting guest vocals from Alex Newell – was co-written by Interscope recording artist Rozzi Crane along with Autumn Rowe, whose other credits include Little Mix (“Red Plant”), Leona Lewis (“Collide”), Zendaya (“Only When You’re Close”) and Kylie Minogue (“Sexy Love”).

The Knocks’ latest mini-collection “So Classic” – featuring previous promotional cut “Classic” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group imprint Big Beat Records.
