Brandy hits the studio with Prince Charlez for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter, and actress Brandy Norwood has enlisted fellow recording artist Prince Charlez for a new collaboration.

Charlez is responsible for co-writing Zedd & Liam Payne’s “Get Low,” Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Mary J. Blige’s “U + Me (Love Lesson),” K. Michelle’s “Talk to God,” Ella Mai’s “Who Knew,” and Tey Songz’s “Song Goes Off.”

His debut EP “Evolution, Pt. 1” – featuring contributions from DannyBoyStyles, Chasity Nwagbara, Fred Ball, Nasri Atweh, Sounwave, and DaHeala – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Meanwhile, Brandy is expected to release her next studio collection and follow-up 2012’s “Two Eleven” later this year via Primary Wave / eOne Music.

On the highly-anticipated project, Brandy has also worked with songwriters and producers including Darhyl “Hey DJ” Camper Jr., Kristal Oliver, Sir Charles, Delisha Thomas, LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels, and Harvey Mason Jr.

American singer, songwriter, and actress Brandy Norwood has enlisted Kristal “Tytewriter” Oliver and Delisha Thomas for a new collaboration.

Oliver is responsible for co-writing Danity Kane’s “Showstopper,” Chrisette Michele’s “You Mean That Much to Me,” Raheem DeVaughn’s “Love Connection,” Cassie’s “Make You a Believer,” Mya’s “Lights Go Off,” Keshia Chante’s “Ring the Alarm,” and Brave Williams’ “Original.”

Meanwhile, Thomas’ songwriting resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Deja Vu”), Jennifer Lopez (“Step into My World”), Christina Aguilera (“Get Loose”), Tamia (“The Way I Love You”), Joy Enriquez (“I Need Your Love”), Justin Bieber (“Favorite Girl”) and Kierra Kiki Sheard (“You Don’t Know”).

American singer, songwriter, and actress Brandy Norwood (known mononymously as Brandy) has reunited with Harvey Mason Jr. and LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels for a new collaboration.

Mason Jr. previously co-produced and co-wrote “Truthfully” alongside Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Marc Nelson, and Brad Gilderman. The track appears on Brandy’s sophomore studio collection, “Never Say Never” (1998), which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Daniels is responsible for co-writing fan favorites including “Fall” and “Nothing,” as well as international hit singles “The Boy is Mine” (featuring Monica), “Top of the World” (featuring Mase) and “What About Us.”

Brandy, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her seventh album – featuring further contributions from Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, and Jazmine Sullivan – later this year via Primary Wave / eOne Music.

The still-untitled project follows 2012’s “Two Eleven,” which topped the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “Wildest Dreams” and the Chris Brown-featuring “Put it Down.”

Megan Rochell has released her debut album online.

Originally intended to arrive in 2006 via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings, “You, Me and the Radio” – featuring singles “The One You Need,” “Floating” and “Let Go” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Album producers include Stargate (Justin Timberlake), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Tamar Braxton), Needlz (Bruno Mars), Ryan Leslie (Cassie), Antonio Dixon (Kevin Gates) and Madd Scientist (Christina Milian).

On the songwriting front; Rochell has enlisted Keri Hilson (Mary J. “Already All Ready” – featuring singles “Good Woman,” “Somebody Does” and “What is Love?” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

LaShawn Daniels is an American singer, songwriter, and vocal producer.

Alongside regular collaborators Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and Fred “Uncle Freddie” Jerkins, Daniels – also known as Big Shiz – has helmed international hit singles for Whitney Houston (“It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay), Jennifer Lopez (“If You Had My Love”), Destiny’s Child (“Say My Name”), Toni Braxton (“He Wasn’t Man Enough”) and Brandy & Monica (“The Boy is Mine”).

Daniels’ extensive resume boasts further works with Tamar Braxton (“Love and War”), Mary J. Blige (“Wonderful”), Kelly Rowland (“Work it Man”), Alicia Keys (“Rear View Mirror”), Beyonce (“Back Up”), Shola Ama (“Imagine”), Melanie Fiona (“Magic”), Lady Gaga (“Telephone”) and Janet Jackson (“Luv”).
