Jojo enlists Isabella Kearney-Nurse, Warren “Oak” Felder for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Joanna Levesque, known mononymously as Jojo, has enlisted Isabella Kearney-Nurse and Warren “Oak” Felder for a new collaboration.

Besides co-writing songs on Jessica Mauboy’s upcoming album alongside Louis Schoorl, Kearney-Nurse is responsible for co-writing The Veronicas’ “Think of Me,” Matt Gresham’s “Who Am I Now” and Mitch James’s “Can’t Help Myself.”

Meanwhile, Felder’s production resume boasts works with Demi Lovato (“Sorry Not Sorry”), Chris Brown (“Superhuman”), Kehlani (“Distraction”), Miguel (“Use Me”), Toni Braxton (“Hands Tied”), Usher (“Good Kisser”), Britney Spears (“Clumsy”) and Alessia Cara (“Scars to Your Beautiful”).

In addition to contributing to Louise’s upcoming album, “Heavy Love,” Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting alliances with Jermaine Dupri, Natt Dunn, Bryan Michael Cox, Diana Gordon, Billy Steinberg, Caroline Ailin, D’Mile, Chloe Angelides, Iain James, Steph Jones, Chris Loco, Kennedi, Digital Farm Animals, Skyler Stonestreet, Big Taste, Myah Marie, Stint, Max Wolfgang.

Jojo hits the studio with Max Wolfgang, Stint

American singer/songwriter Joanna Levesque, known mononymously as Jojo, has teamed up with Max Wolfgang and Stint for a new collaboration.

Among the artists Max Wolfgang has previously penned songs for are Kygo (“Never Let You Go”), Zayn Malik (“Back to Life”), Paloma Faith (“Loyal”), Kylie Minogue (“Your Body”), Chelcee Grimes (“Just Like That”), Jackson Penn (“Streetlights on Mars”) and Rudimental (“Lay It All On Me”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for producing Alina Baraz’s “Feels Right,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” AlunaGeorge’s “Jealous,” and Zara Larsson’s “Make That Money Girl.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection and follow-up to 2016’s “Mad Love” later this year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

American singer/songwriter Joanne Levesque, professionally known as Jojo, has enlisted Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo are responsible for Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us,” Usher’s “Burn,” Janet Jackson’s “Nothing,” Chante Moore’s “Straight Up,” Monica’s “Love All Over Me,” and Tamar Braxton’s “Get None.”

Dupri and Cox have also worked with Alicia Keys (“Girlfriend”), Faith Evans (“Tru Love”), Tamia (“Still”), Whitney Houston (“Never Give Up”), Christina Milian (“Girl Like Me”), Nivea (“Parking Lot”) and 3LW (“Feeling You”).

Meanwhile, Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection early next year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Mad Love” reportedly yields additional alliances with Billy Steinberg, Diana Gordon, Chris Loco, Natalie Dunn, D’Mile, Caroline Ailin, Kyle Shearer, ADP, Iain James, Digital Farm Animals, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Big Taste, Nick Monson, Alex Hope, and Jussi “Jussifer” Karvinen.

Jess Kent announces new singles “Bass Bumps,” “No Love Songs”

Jess Kent has announced the details for her new singles.

The Australian singer/songwriter christened “Bass Bumps” and “No Love Songs” as the her next promotional cuts and will release them on July 13 via iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Bass Bumps” was co-written by Kennedi Lykken, Justin Tranter, Nick Monson, Mark Nilan and Paul “DJ White Shadow” Blair, meanwhile “No Love Songs” was co-written by Brittany Burton, Michael Pollack and Jorgen Odegard.

Kent’s upcoming project – featuring further contributions from Billy Steinberg, Negin Djafari, Jussifer, Chelsea Lena, Sad Pony, Justin Raisen, Skyler Stonestreet, Trey Campbell, Ido Zmishlany, Sarah Hudson, and Patrick Patrikious – is expected to arrive later this year via Capitol Records.

Ruth-Anne scheduled to release new music in 2018

Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, known mononymously as RuthAnne, is planning to release new music from her debut album in 2018.

Alongside record producers Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, RuthAnne has co-penned songs for Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”) and Leona Lewis (“Perfection”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional songwriting works with Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Third Story (“G Train”), Jasmine V (“Jealous”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”), Nadine Coyle (“Running”), One Direction (“No Control”) and Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”).

Jess Kent has drafted Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.

The Warner/Chappell Music signee recently co-wrote “Home” for Nick Jonas alongside regular collaborator Nick Monson. The track is taken from the original motion picture soundtrack, “Ferdinand.”

Tranter’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Maroon 5 (“Help Me Out”), Halsey (“Bad at Love”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Gwen Stefani (“Used to Love You”), Fergie (“Tension”), Jason Derulo (“If I’m Lucky”), Kesha (“Finding You”), Justin Bieber (“Friends”) and Selena Gomez (“Bad Liar”).

Meanwhile, Kent is expected to release her next project early next year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Siblings Justin and Jeremiah “Nugget” Raisen have collectively written and produced songs for Charli XCX (“London Queen”), Sky Ferreira (“Love in Stereo”), HEALTH (“Life”), Santigold (Who I Thought You Were), Lawrence Rothman (“H”) and MS MR (“Criminals).

Meanwhile, Campbell is responsible for co-writing Adam Lambert’s “Two Fux,” Bebe Rexha’s “Atmosphere,” Ella Mai’s “Found,” RYDER’s “Nirvana,” Allie X’s “Downtown,” KLP’s “Changes,” Bea Miller’s “Warmer,” MAAD’s “Black Ice,” Kim Cesarion’s “Therapy,” and Maggie Lindemann’s “Little Things.”

Kent, on the other hand, is expected to release her next project later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.
