Jess Kent announces new singles “Bass Bumps,” “No Love Songs”

Jess Kent has announced the details for her new singles.

The Australian singer/songwriter christened “Bass Bumps” and “No Love Songs” as the her next promotional cuts and will release them on July 13 via iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Bass Bumps” was co-written by Kennedi Lykken, Justin Tranter, Nick Monson, Mark Nilan and Paul “DJ White Shadow” Blair, meanwhile “No Love Songs” was co-written by Brittany Burton, Michael Pollack and Jorgen Odegard.

Kent’s upcoming project – featuring further contributions from Billy Steinberg, Negin Djafari, Jussifer, Chelsea Lena, Sad Pony, Justin Raisen, Skyler Stonestreet, Trey Campbell, Ido Zmishlany, Sarah Hudson, and Patrick Patrikious – is expected to arrive later this year via Capitol Records.

Ruth-Anne scheduled to release new music in 2018

Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, known mononymously as RuthAnne, is planning to release new music from her debut album in 2018.

Alongside record producers Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, RuthAnne has co-penned songs for Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”) and Leona Lewis (“Perfection”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional songwriting works with Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Third Story (“G Train”), Jasmine V (“Jealous”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”), Nadine Coyle (“Running”), One Direction (“No Control”) and Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”).

In addition to Steinberg and Alexander, RuthAnne has also teamed up with top producers including TMS, Julian Bunetta, Chris Braide, MNEK, John Ryan, Toby Gad, Axident, Lucas Secon, Cutfather, Jonas Jeberg, Stephan Moccio, Malay, John Shanks, Alex Da Kid, Johnny Douglas, Two Inch Punch, Moon Willis, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Al Shux, and Mojam Music.

Jess Kent drafts Justin Tranter for new collaboration

Jess Kent has drafted Justin Tranter for a new collaboration.

The Warner/Chappell Music signee recently co-wrote “Home” for Nick Jonas alongside regular collaborator Nick Monson. The track is taken from the original motion picture soundtrack, “Ferdinand.”

Tranter’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Maroon 5 (“Help Me Out”), Halsey (“Bad at Love”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Gwen Stefani (“Used to Love You”), Fergie (“Tension”), Jason Derulo (“If I’m Lucky”), Kesha (“Finding You”), Justin Bieber (“Friends”) and Selena Gomez (“Bad Liar”).

Meanwhile, Kent is expected to release her next project early next year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional alliances with Billy Steinberg, Jussi “Jussifer” Illmari, Chelsea Lena, Jesse Saint John, Ido Zmishlany, Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt, Negin Djafari, Justin Raisen, Trey Campbell, Patrick Patrikious, and Jeremiah Raisen.

Jess Kent teams with Justin Raisen, Nugget, Trey Campbell for new collaboration

Australian singer/songwriter Jess Kent has teamed up with Justin Raisen, Nugget, and Trey Campbell for a new collaboration.

Siblings Justin and Jeremiah “Nugget” Raisen have collectively written and produced songs for Charli XCX (“London Queen”), Sky Ferreira (“Love in Stereo”), HEALTH (“Life”), Santigold (Who I Thought You Were), Lawrence Rothman (“H”) and MS MR (“Criminals).

Meanwhile, Campbell is responsible for co-writing Adam Lambert’s “Two Fux,” Bebe Rexha’s “Atmosphere,” Ella Mai’s “Found,” RYDER’s “Nirvana,” Allie X’s “Downtown,” KLP’s “Changes,” Bea Miller’s “Warmer,” MAAD’s “Black Ice,” Kim Cesarion’s “Therapy,” and Maggie Lindemann’s “Little Things.”

Kent, on the other hand, is expected to release her next project later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “My Name is Jess Kent” reportedly delivers additional contributions from Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Demi Lovato), Chelsea Lena (Jessica Simpson, Laura Marano), Ido Zmishlany (Stephen Puth, Bipolar Sunshine) and Negin Djafari (Liza Owen, Mabel McVey).

Bebe Rexha announces release date for “All Your Fault: Pt. 1”

Bebe Rexha has announced the release date for her upcoming project.

“All Your Fault: Pt. 1” – featuring current promotional single “I Got You” – will arrive on February 17 via Warner Brothers Records.

In addition to regular collaborators Lauren Christy and Jacob “JKash” Kasher, the highly-anticipated collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Sean Douglas, Iain James, Levi Lennox, Ilsey Juber, Talay Riley, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Simon Wilcox, Brandyn Burnette, MoZella, Clarence Coffee Jr., Sam Martin, and Trey Campbell.

On the production front, Rexha has teamed up with Timbaland, Stargate, Captain Cuts, The Chainsmokers, Invisible Men, MNEK, TMS, Jason Evigan, Fraser T. Smith, Joel Little, Christopher Braide, Jonas Jeberg, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Mitch Allen, Ian Kirkpatrick, Cook Classics, Gladius, DJ Mustard, Busbee, Christoph Andersson, Jon Levine, and Billy Steinberg.

As a songwriter, Rexha recently co-penned Nick Jonas’ “Under You” alongside Savan Kotecha, Rickard Goransson, Ali Payami, and Max Martin.

Billy Steinberg is an American songwriter and record producer.

Along with songwriting partner Tom Kelly, he co-wrote international hit singles performed by Madonna (“Like a Virgin”), Cyndi Lauper (“True Colors”), The Bangles (“Eternal Flame”) and Whitney Houston (“So Emotional”).

Steinberg also helmed singles with fellow musician Rick Nowels, including Celine Dion’s “Falling into You” (1996), Ace of Base’s “Everytime it Rains” (1999), Amber’s “Sexual” (1999) and Melanie C’s “I Turn to You” (2000).

In 2006, he co-wrote and co-produced Jojo’s “Too Little, Too Late” alongside Josh Alexander. The track – originally intended for the Pussycat Dolls – peaked to number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

With Alexander, Steinberg continued to write songs for Leona Lewis (“Perfection”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”), Demi Lovato (“Give Your Heart a Break”), Selena Gomez (“That’s More Like It”), Paris Hilton (“Heartbeat”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Don’t Hold Your Breath”) and Fefe Dobson (“The Initiator”).

Bebe Rexha releases new single “I Got You”

Bebe Rexha has released her new single online.

“I Got You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Rexha along with regular collaborators Lauren Christy (Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, Chris Brown) and Jacob Kasher Hindlin (Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth, Zara Larsson).

Production duties on “I Got You” were handled by Captain Cuts, consisting of Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin. The LA-based trio’s resume boasts credits with Walk the Moon (“Shut Up and Dance”), Halsey (“Roman Holiday”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Two Young Hearts”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rexha’s first studio collection, tentatively entitled “A.Y.F.” – featuring previous singles “In the Name of Love” and “No Broken Hearts” – will arrive in 2017 via Warner Brothers Records.
