Alina Baraz releases new promotional single “Buzzin'”

Alina Baraz has released her new promotional single online.

“Buzzin” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis, whose other credits include Zara Larsson’s “So Good,” Jason Derulo’s “Swalla,” Meghan Trainor’s “Watch Me Do,” Jennifer Lopez’s “Ain’t Your Mama,” Sabina Ddumba’s “Not Too Young,” Jessie J’s “Burnin’ Up,” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$.”

Production duties on “Buzzin” were handled by Ben Billion$, who is also responsible for G-Eazy & Kehlani’s “Good Life,” The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” Beyonce’s “6 Inch,” Kelly Rowland’s “I Remember,” Future’s “Low Life,” Travis Scott’s “Pray 4 Love,” BANKS’ “Judas,” and Kristian Galva’s “Wrong 4 This.”

Baraz’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional single “Electric” – reportedly boasts further alliances with Grades (Ella Mai), Shungudzo Kuyimba (Jessie Ware), Illangelo (Emeli Sande). Tayla Parx (Janelle Monae), Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys) and Scribz Riley (Gabi Wilson).

Camila Cabello drafts Ricky Reed for new collaboration

Camila Cabello has drafted Ricky Reed for a new collaboration.

Born Eric Burton Frederic; the American record producer and songwriter is responsible for singles performed by Jason Derulo (“Talk Dirty”), Meghan Trainor (“No”), Fifth Harmony (“Bo$$”), Jessie J (“Burnin’ Up”), Kesha (“Hymn”) and Far East Movement (“Turn Up the Love”).

Ricky Reed’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Fitz & the Tantrums (“Handclap”), Christina Aguilera (“Unless it’s With You”), Halsey (“Bad at Love”), Thomas Rhett (“Vacation”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”), Pussy Riot (“Make America Great Again”) and Lizzo (“Water Me”).

Meanwhile, Cabello is expected to release her upcoming debut studio collection “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” – featuring promotional singles “Crying in the Club,” “I Have Questions,” “Havana” and “OMG” – later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music and Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly boasts further contributions from Max Martin (Tinashe), Ed Sheeran (Zara Larsson), Billy Walsh (Kali Uchis), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Jessie Ware), Savan Kotecha (Ariana Grande), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Katy Perry), Ryan Tedder (Adele) and Shellback (Taylor Swift).

Kali Uchis releases new single “Nuestro Planeta”

Colombian-American singer/songwriter Karly Loaiza, professionally known as Kali Uchis, has released her new promotional single online.

“Nuestro Planeta” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Reykon-featuring track was produced by Sony/ATV signees Rude Boys (aka Kevin Jimenez and Bryan Lezcano), who are also responsible for Maluma’s “El Perdedor” and Shakira’s “Chantaje.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Uchis’ upcoming debut album – featuring the Jorja Smith-assisted / Sounwave-produced “Tyrant” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting contributions from Linda Perry (Pink, Miley Cyrus), Sam Romans (AlunaGeorge, Ella Henderson), Autumn Rowe (Pitbull, Leona Lewis), Billy Walsh (Raye, Camila Cabello) and Illangelo (Drake, Alicia Keys).

Camila Cabello has confirmed the details for her new promotional singles.

The American singer/songwriter christened “OMG” and “Havana” as the next promotional cuts from her upcoming debut album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” and will release them on August 4th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, “OMG” was co-written by Charli XCX (RAYE, Vance Joy), Noonie Bao (Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Sasha Sloan (Daya, Louis Tomlinson).

The Frank Dukes-produced “Havana,” on the other hand, was co-written by Starrah (Halsey, The Weeknd), Ali Tamposi (Liza Owen, Troye Sivan), Brian Lee (Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo), Andrew Watt (Rita Ora, Charlie Puth) and Pharrell Williams (Kehlani, Justin Timberlake).

As mentioned in earlier posts, “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving” – featuring previous singles “Crying the Club” and “I Have Questions” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Syco Music and Epic Records.

RAYE hints at new collaboration with Illangelo, Billy Walsh

RAYE has hinted at a new collaboration with Billy Walsh and Illangelo.

“S/O to my GS @illangelo @billywalsh,” the British singer/songwriter (born Rachel Agatha Keen) has posted to her InstaStory on Wednesday (July 26, 2017).

The songwriting and production duo are responsible for Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” Elijah Blake’s “Live Till We Die,” Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart,” and Majid Jordan’s “Something About You.”

Their promotional single “Move Together,” which features guest vocals from Majid Joran and released under the duo’s stage name Somewhere Else, is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, RAYE’s upcoming still-untitled project – featuring current single “The Line” – is expected to arrive later this year via Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, the “I, U, Us” star has contributed to the next releases by Rihanna, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Rita Ora, Mabel McVey, Era Istrefi, Rudimental, Anne-Marie, Naughty Boy, Ellie Goulding, and Ray BLK.

American singer/songwriter has enlisted the songwriting and production services of Shungudzo Kuyimba, Daniel “GRADES” Traynor, and Mike “Scribz” Riley for her upcoming debut project.

Kuyimba (also known as Alexandra Govere) is responsible for co-writing Little Mix’s “Touch,” Bantu’s “Holiday,” The Chainsmokers’ “It Won’t Kill Ya,” GIRLI’s “Not that Girl,” and Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour.”

Meanwhile, GRADES and Scribz Riley have collectively produced songs for artists including Khalid (“Winter”), Gabi “H.E.R.” Wilson (“Lights On”) and Tove Lo (“Lies in the Dark”).

Baraz, on the other hand, is exected to release her upcoming debut project – featuring current promotional single “Electric” – later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
