Anne-Marie reunites with Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac for new promotional single “Then”

Anne-Marie has confirmed the details for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter (born Anne-Marie Nicholson) christened “Then” as her next promotional cut and will release it on December 15 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Ina Wroldsen, whose other credits include Clean Bandit’s “Symphony,” Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Sofia Carson’s “Love is the Name,” Madison Beer’s “Melody,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore,” and Britney Spears’ “He About to Lose Me.”

Production duties on “Then” were handled by Steve Mac, who is also responsible for Pink’s “What About Us,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Zara Larsson’s “Don’t Let Me Be Yours,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” and Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Anne-Marie’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Heavy,” “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is expected to arrive early next year via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from Chris Loco, Emily Warren, Moon Willis, Kamille, Justin Parker, Negin Djafari, Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jonas Jeberg, Raye, Bless Beats, Sasha Sloan, Fraser T. Smith, Chelcee Grimes, Jamie Scott, Stacy Barthe, Jesse Shatkin, Natasha Bedingfield, Digital Farm Animals, Jin Jin, Ed Sheeran, and Mojam Music.

Recent songwriting credits by Warren include Little Mix’s “No More Sad Songs,” Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Dua Lipa’s “New Rules,” Molly Kate Kestner’s “Good Die Young,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Alessia Cara’s “The Other Side,” Noah Cyrus’ “Stay Together,” and Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me.”

She has also contributed to the next projects by Sigrid, Liam Payne, Dua Lipa, Sigala, Ella Eyre, Tori Kelly, David Guetta, Shakira, Grace Mitchell, Dagny, Liza Owen, Phoebe Ryan, and Ella Henderson.

Meanwhile, Loco is responsible for co-writing and producing Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger than Ever,” Emeli Sande’s “Garden,” Kevin Garrett’s “Little Bit of You,” Justine Skye’s “U Don’t Know,” Etta Bond’s “Kiss My Girlfriend,” Sinead Harnett’s “Rather Be with You,” and Professor Green’s “Lullaby.”

Nesbitt’s songwriting resume boasts works for Olivia Holt (“Phoenix”), Jasmine Thompson (“Love for the Lonely”), Conor Maynard (“Living”), Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”) and The Shires (“Other People’s Things”).

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie Nicholson, mononymously known as Anne-Marie, has connected with Oliver Lee and James Cartner of electronic music production duo Snakehips for their new single “Either Way,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Julia Michaels, whose recent credits include Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” Shakira’s “When a Woman,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” and Skyler Stecker’s “How Did We.”

Production duties on “Either Way,” which also features rapper Joey Badass, were collectively handled by Snakehips alongside Warren “Oak” Felder and Cass Lowe, who is also responsible for Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Gryffin’s “Love in Ruins,” Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up,” and Astrid S’s “About a Boy.”

Born Kane Parfitt, the Sony/ATV signee is known for co-writing and producing The Chainsmokers’ “Bloodstream,” Plested’s “Habits,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Carys Selvey’s “Shallow,” and Grace Ackerman’s “Hold Me.”
