Craig David liberates new promotional single “I Know You”

Craig David has liberated his new promotional single online.

“I Know You” – which was co-written by Dan Smith of Bastille alongside Carmen Reece and Fraser T. Smith – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, David’s upcoming seventh studio collection “The Time is Now” – featuring previous promotional singles “Heartline” and “For the Gram” – will arrive on January 26th via Speakerbox / Insanity Records in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The highly-anticipated project delivers additional alliances with Chase & Status, Jonas Blue, Kaytranada, Sam Romans, JP Cooper, Diztortion, Rachel Furner, Ella Mai, GoldLink, AJ Tracey, Steve Mac, Tre Jean-Marie, and Blonde.

Craig David premieres music video for new promotional single “Heartline”

Craig David has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for the Jonas Blue-produced “Heartline” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Wednesday (October 18, 2017).

Now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets; “Heartline” was co-written by David alongside fellow recording artist RØMANS, whose recent credits include Little Mix (“If I Get My Way”), Justine Skye (“Don’t Think About It”), Noah Cyrus (“I’m Stuck”) and Rag’n’Bone Man (“Fade to Nothing”).

Born Samuel Elliot Roman, the Roc Nation signee has also contributed to the next projects by Sigma, Louis Tomlinson, Jennifer Hudson, X Ambassadors, Cosima, Jax Jones, Kristian Galva, Sigala, Louisa Johnson, Gavin James, Kali Uchis, James Morrison, Rixton, Tom Walker, Noah Cyrus, Era Istrefi, Rita Ora, Fleur East, Alan Walker, Calum Scott, Jess Glynne, and Rudimental.

Meanwhile, David’s seventh studio collection “The Time is Now” – featuring the Diztortion-produced “For the Gram” – will arrive on January 26 via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox/Insanity Records.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” David has also worked with Chase & Status (“Reload”), Fraser T. Smith (“Love Me Like It’s Yesterday”), Steve Mac (“Brand New”), Kaytranada (“Live in the Moment”), Tre Jean-Marie (“Talk to Me”) and Blonde (“Somebody Like Me”).

Blonde drafts Astrid S for new single “Just for One Night”

English deep house production duo Blonde – composed of Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield – have unleashed their new single online.

“Just for One Night” – featuring guest vocals from Norwegian singer/songwriter Astrid S – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Rachel Keen, professionally known as RAYE, who previously teamed up with Blonde on the Alex Newell-featuring “All Cried Out,” which peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Production duties on “Just for One Night” were collectively handled by Blonde alongside Hitimpulse, who are also responsible for Kygo & Ellie Goulding’s “First Time,” Alma’s “Chasing Highs,” Doctor’s “Only You,” and Felix Jaehn’s “Bonfire.”

Blonde’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via FFRR Records in partnership with Warner Music Group’s imprint Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Sam Romans (Little Mix), Max McElligott (Kiah Victoria), Grace Tither (Fleur East), Talay Riley (Craig David), Gina Kushka (Kylie Minogue), Jin Jin (Rita Ora), Caroline Ailin (Rachel Platten), Dayo Olatunji (Fifth Harmony), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly) and Levi Lennox (Zayn Malik).

Craig David drafts MNEK, TMS for new single “Change My Love”

Craig David has confirmed the details for his new single online.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Change My Love” as the next promotional cut from his latest studio collection, “Following My Intuition.”

The track was co-written by MNEK, who recently worked with Jojo (“Good Thing”), Sabina Ddumba (“Time”), Becky Hill (“Warm”), Zara Larsson (“Ain’t My Fault”), Beyonce (“Hold Up”) and JKAY / Shola Ama (“Danger”).

Production duties on “Change My Love” were handled by Peter Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas Barnes of TMS, who also teamed up with David on the Carla Marie Williams-penned “Better With You.”

Moreover, TMS have contributed to the next releases by Era Istrefi [Ultra], Imani Williams [Sony Music], Emeli Sande [Virgin EMI], Liv Dawson [Method], Olly Murs [Epic], Dua Lipa [Warner Music] and Ella Henderson [Syco].

“Following My Intuition” – featuring singles “Ain’t Giving Up,” “One More Time” and “When the Bassline Drops” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK and Insanity Records.

Amongst the songwriters backing David on the album are Ed Drewett (Dua Lipa), Jacob Attwooll (Fleur East), MNEK (Shola Ama), Rachel Furner (Little Mix) and Carla Marie Williams (Britney Spears).

On the production front, the “Nothing Like This” star teamed up with Tre Jean-Marie (Emeli Sande), Sigala (Imani Williams), Blonde (Sinead Harnett), Dave Tozer (John Legend), KAYTRANADA (AlunaGeorge) and TMS (Olly Murs).

Imani Williams has added Richard Stannard for her upcoming debut album.

“I loved working with @imaniofficial & @LaconicUK yesterday. She’s a doll and has the best ring tone I’ve ever heard,” the British record producer and songwriter tweeted on Friday (August 12, 2016).

Stannard recently helmed songs for Medina (“We Survive”), Will Young (“Dare”), Kylie Minogue (“100 Degrees”), Ella Henderson (“Billie Holiday”), Sam Bailey (“Treasure”), and 5 Seconds of Summer (“18”).

His extensive resume boasts further works with Spice Girls (“Wannabe”), Leona Lewis (“One More Sleep”), Gabrielle (“Falling”), Ellie Goulding (“Lights”), James Arthur (“Lie Down”), and Little Mix (“These Four Walls”).

Williams, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio project later this year through Sony Music Entertainment UK.

Lead single “Don’t Need No Money” – featuring the song’s producers Sigala and Blonde – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Imani Williams has drafted Natasha Bedingfield for her debut project.

“So fun to write a song with this beautiful one. Imani is taking UK radio over as we speak. I can’t wait to hear what incredible Parker Ighile does with the production,” Bedingfield posted to her Instagram account.

On the songwriting front, Bedingfield’s resume boasts works with Brandy (“Fall”), Nicki Minaj (“Last Chance”), Jennifer Rush (“Betcha Never”), Charice (“Lighthouse”), and The Corrs (“Kiss of Life”).

She also teamed up with regular collaborators with Toby Gad and John Shanks on “Love Song to the Earth,” which is a special anthem for the United Nations Climate Summit 2014.

Williams, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio project later this year through Sony Music Entertainment UK.
