Rita Ora collaborates with Ed Sheeran for new album

Rita Ora has collaborated with Ed Sheeran for her upcoming second album.

During a recent interview with Noisey, the British songbird stated “I did this incredibly beautiful song with Ed about our friendship; he’s one of my best friends. It’s amazing having a friend in this industry of the opposite sex that you haven’t hooked up with. He’s such a legend. I respect him in so many ways.”

Sheeran previously co-wrote songs for other artists including Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”) and Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”).

His latest album “x” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and “Bloodstream” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Ora’s sophomore studio collection will hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Roc Nation and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project is preceded by new single “Poison,” which was written by Kate Nash along with Julia Michaels (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) and Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas).

Other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated new album are Dr. Luke (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry), Diplo (Usher, Britney Spears), Devonte Hynes (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and DJ Mustard (Omarion, Charli XCX).

Carly Rae Jepsen has unveiled the official artwork for her upcoming album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “E.MO.TION” on June 24 via Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

Current single “All That” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Jepsen along with Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX) and Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (Tinashe, FKA twigs).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Kiss” is executive-produced by Scooter Braun, whose other clients include Justin Bieber [Island Records], Katharine McPhee [Columbia Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

On the production front, Jepsen has enlisted Toby Gad (Beyonce, Leona Lewis), Stargate (Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey), Jack Antonoff (Tinashe, Taylor Swift), Max Martin (Kelis, Adam Lambert) and Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Ryn Weaver).

Album songwriters are Jacob “J. Kash” Kasher (Selena Gomez, Avril Lavigne), Sam Hollander (Olly Murs, Alex & Sierra), Jenna Andrews (Elle Varner, Pixie Lott) and Sia Furler (Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue).

Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the title for her upcoming album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened her next studio collection “E.MO.TION” and will release it later this year under Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

Current single “All That” – which is now available for download via iTunes – was written by Jepsen along with Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (FKA twigs, Jessie Ware) and Ariel Rechtshaid (Charli XCX, Rita Ora).

Scooter Braun serves as the executive-producer for the keenly-awaited project. The music mogul also oversees the careers of Justin Bieber [Island Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

Other contributors on the follow-up to 2012’s “Kiss” are Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Jacob Kasher (Jessie J, Kylie Minogue), Benny Blanco (Ryn Weaver, Ed Sheeran) and Jack Antonoff (Tinashe, Taylor Swift).

Carly Rae Jepsen has debuted a new song online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the official audio clip for “All That” to her Vevo channel on Saturday (April 04, 2015).

“All That” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Jepsen along with Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (Jessie Ware, Sky Ferreira) and Ariel Rechtshaid (Gwen Stefani, Charli XCX).

Jepsen’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Kiss” will be released later this year under Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project is executive produced by Scooter Braun, whose also overseeing the next projects by Justin Bieber [Island Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

Furthermore, Jepsen’s new album features other collaborations with Peter Svensson (Leona Lewis, Avril Lavigne), Jacob Kasher (Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj), Toby Gad (Sia, Alicia Keys) and Benny Blanco (Miguel, Ed Sheeran).

“Soft Control” – featuring hit singles “Hollow Drum,” “Ghosts,” “Break the Fall” and “Cold Front” – is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Outsiders Recorded Music Limited and Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, the project boasts alliances with Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), Ian Dench (Jordin Sparks, Alesha Dixon), John Legend (Fergie, Keyshia Cole) and Dev Hynes (Tinashe, FKA twigs).

Carly Rae Jepsen has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the Peter Glantz-directed clip for “I Really Like You” – featuring guest appearances from Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber – to her official Vevo channel on Friday (March 06, 2015).

“I Really Like You” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Carly Rae Jepsen along with Jacob Kasher Hindlin (Britney Spears, Selena Gomez) and Peter Svensson (Leona Lewis, Ariana Grande).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jepsen’s next studio collection will be released later this year via Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

Rita Ora has worked with Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza on new material.

The Los Angeles-based musician is known for his collaborations with Pitbull [Polo Grounds Music], Christina Aguilera [RCA Records], Karmin [Epic Records], Cody Simpson [Atlantic Records] and Justin Bieber [Island Records].

Some of his recent production and songwriting credits are Kelly Clarkson’s “War Paint” [RCA Records], Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” [Island Records] and Lea Michele’s “Burn with You” [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, Ora is scheduled to release her sophomore album later this year via Roc Nation and Sony Music Entertainment imprint Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “ORA,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four hit singles in the shape of “R.I.P.,” “How We Do (Party),” “Shine Ya Light” and “Radioactive.”
