Kylie Minogue enlists Amy Wadge for new album

Kylie Minogue has enlisted the songwriting services of Amy Wadge for her upcoming 14th album, which will arrive later this year via BMG Records.

Wadge’s extensive resume boasts works with Ed Sheeran (“Thinking Out Loud”), Jasmine Thompson (“Let Myself Try”), Molly Kate Kestner (“I Don’t Know”), Geri Halliwell (“If You Love Someone”), Una Healy (“Stay My Love”), Jamie Lawson (“Don’t Let Me Let You Go”) and James Blunt (“Paradise”).

Fans of her works should also keep an eye on the next projects by Janella Monae, Dakota, Zak Abel, Mahalia, Tom Grennan, Marlon Roudette, Nina Nesbitt, Jessie Ware, Keith Urban, Anne-Marie, Kacey Musgraves, Mullally, Dan Caplen, Ella Henderson, Dagny, James TW, Liv Dawson, Betsy, Aston Merrygold, Jorja Smith, Max George, Lily Moore, Conrad Sewell, and Gryffin.

Other songwriters and producers expected to appear on Minogue’s next project, which follows 2015’s “Kylie Christmas,” are Richard “Biff” Stannard, Karen Poole, Luke Fitton, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, The Invisible Men, Grace Barker, Chris DeStefano, Gina Kushka, Cutfather, Bonnie McKee, and Guy Chambers.

Mickey Guyton confirms details for new single

Mickey Guyton has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American country singer/songwriter (born Candace Mycale Guyton) christened “Nice Things” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming project under Universal Music Group / Capitol Records Nasville.

The track – available for download from July 28 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Liz Rose (Nelly Furtado, Colbie Caillat) and Stephanie Chapman (Lady Antebellum, Trisha Yearwood).

On the follow-up to 2014’s “Unbreakable” and 2015’s “Mickey Guyton,” the “Better Than You Left Me” star has reportedly worked with songwriters and producers including David Hodges, Bonnie McKee, Morgan Taylor Reid, Lucie Silvas, Troy Verges, Hillary Lindsey, and Busbee.

Marina Diamandis teams with Clean Bandit for new single “Disconnect”

Welsh singer/songwriter Marina Diamandis, professionally known as Marina and the Diamonds, has teamed up with British electronic music group Clean Bandit for their new single “Disconnect,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Disconnect” were handled by group members Luke and Jack Patterson alongside Mark Ralph, whose other credits include Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Take That’s “Giants,” Frances’ “Under Our Feet,” Era Istrefi’s “Redrum,” and AlunaGeorge’s “Mean What I Mean.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Diamandis is currently working on her upcoming fourth album, which reportedly boasts contributions from Jason Evigan (Madonna), Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa), Big Taste (Maty Noyes), Jesse St. John (Brooke Candy), Noah Breakfast (Amber Mark), Cass Lowe (Snakehips), James Flannigan (Kodaline) and Bonnie McKee (Charlie Puth).

Meanwhile, Clean Bandit’s sophomore studio collection – featuring previous singles “Symphony,” “Rockabye” and “Tears” – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Adam Lambert confirms new single details

Adam Lambert has confirmed the details for his new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Two Fux” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming fourth album and will release it on June 30th via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Lambert alongside Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Years & Years), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Katy Perry, Ricky Martin), Trey Campbell (Allie X, Ella Henderson) and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt (RAYE, Era Istrefi).

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2015’s “The Original High” is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions from Bonnie McKee (Charlie Puth), Ilsey Juber (Ellie Goulding), Julia Michaels (Gwen Stefani) and Justin Tranter (Imagine Dragons).

Among the producers expected to appear on the album are Tommy English (Phoebe Ryan), MNEK (Beyonce), Chris “CJ” Baran (Melanie Martinez), Leland (Selena Gomez), Jack Antonoff (Zayn Malik) and BloodPop (Tinashe).

Hudson’s songwriting credits include Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse,” Dua Lipa’s “Genesis,” Santigold’s “Banshee,” Charli XCX’s “Babygirl,” Nicki Minaj’s “Get on Your Knees,” Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow,” Erika Jayne’s “XXPen$ive,” Idina Menzel’s “Queen of Swords,” and Justin Bieber’s “The Feeling.”

Meanwhile, Evigan is known for co-writing and producing Nick Jonas’ “Chains,” Fifth Harmony’s “Miss Movin’ On,” Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne,” Kehlani’s “Gangsta,” David Guetta’s “Dangerous,” Jojo’s “When Love Hurts,” and Kat Graham’s “Power.”

Diamandis, on the other hand, is expected to release her next studio collection later this year via Neon Gold Records and Atlantic Records.

Australian singer/songwriter Kylie Minogue has teamed up with Karen Poole and Eyelar Mirzazadeh for a new collaboration.

Poole previously co-wrote songs for Minogue alongside fellow musicians Johnny Douglas (“Chocolate”), Richard “Biff” Stannard (“City Games”), Jonas Quant (“No More Rain”), Matt Prime (“Cried Out Christmas”), Calvin Harris (“Heart Beat Rock”), Greg Kurstin (“Wow”), Matt Schwartz (“Sparks”), Paul Harris (“Timebomb”), Chris Loco (“Fine”) and Bloodshy & Avant (“Nudity”).

Meanwhile, Eyelar’s songwriting resume boasts works with Taya (“Got Me Wondering”), Charli XCX (“After the Afterparty”), Redlight (“Here with Me”), Diztortion (“I’ll Be There”), Yellow Claw (“Catch Me”) and R3hab (“Get Up”).

Meanwhile, Big Taste is known for his productions works with Justin Bieber (“Company”), Maty Noyes (“Falling Out of Love”), Jake Miller (“Overnight”), Sage the Gemini (“Now and Later”) and Train (“Ziplock of Sunshine”).

Diamandis, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via Neon Gold Records and Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Froot” reportedly delivers further productions from Noah Breakfast (Kanye West), James Flannigan (Kodaline), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith) and Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande).
