Daya reveals new song title from upcoming sophomore album

American singer/songwriter Grace Martin Tandon, known mononymously as Daya, has revealed a new song title from her upcoming sophomore studio collection untitled “Allowed.”

The track was written by Daya alongside Michael Pollack (Kelly Clarkson, Alex Aiono), Ari “Lauv” Leff (Demi Lovato, Charli XCX) and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson).

Daya’s current promotional single “New” – which was co-written by Brett “Leland” McLaughlin and James Newman alongside the song’s producers Sir Nolan and Stargate – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her yet-to-be-titled second album and follow-up to 2016’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty” – featuring further contributions from Sean Douglas, Jesse Saint John, Sasha Sloan, Chloe Angelides, Simon Wilcox, Deputy, Toby Gad, and Lukas “Lulou” Loules – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Interscope Records.

Hailee Steinfeld drafts Noah Breakfast for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter, and actress Hailee Steinfeld has drafted record producer Noah Breakfast for a new collaboration.

Born Noah Beresin, the former member of Chiddy Bang previously helmed songs for Christine and the Queens (“No Harm is Done”), Tei Shi (“Keep Running”), Becky Hill (“Back to My Love”), Santigold (“Walking in a Circle”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Sitting Pretty”), Big Sean (“Light it Up”), Ellie Goulding (“Tessellate”), Tory Lanez (“Henny in Hand”) and Brooke Candy (“Opulence”).

Noah Breakfast’s resume boasts additional works with fellow producers and songwriters including Two Inch Punch, Asia Whiteacre, Diplo, Sia Furler, Robopop, Jesse Saint John, Sarah Aarons, DJ Dahi, Emma Davidson-Dillon, Patrik Berger, Natalie Dunn, Stint, Rostam Batmanglij, Diplo, Emily Warren, John Hill, and Sam Hollander.

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Let Me Go” and “Most Girls” – is expected to arrive later this year via Republic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting alliances with Leland, Allie X, Hayley Warner, Farrago, Ali Tamposi, Brandon Skeie, Kathryn Ostenberg, BURNS, Albin Nedler, Tayla Parx, Whitney Phillips, Rami Yacoub, Julia Michaels, and Justin Tranter.

“Capital Letters” – which was written by Steinfeld alongside Ellie Goulding, Rachel “Raye” Keen, Andrew Jackson, Ely Weisfeld, and Michael “BloodPop” Tucker – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track appears on the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” which will arrive on February 2nd via Republic Records.

American singer, songwriter, and actress Hailee Steinfeld has teamed up with record producer BloodPop for her new song “Capital Letters,” taken from the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” out on February 9 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Troye Sivan christens “My My My” as new promotional single

South African-Australian singer, songwriter, and actor Troye Sivan has christened “My My My” as his next promotional single and will release it on January 12 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Sivan alongside Oscar “OzGo” Gorres (Taylor Swift, Britney Spears), Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Rachel Platten, Andy Grammer) and James Ghaleb (Katy Perry, The Script).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sivan’s upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2015’s “Blue Neighbourhood” is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Jaira Burns reveals music video for new single “High Rollin”

Jaira Burns has revealed the music video for her new promotional single online.

The Matthew Dillon Cohen-directed clip for “High Rollin” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on 6 December 2017.

The track was co-written by Brett “Leland” McLaughlin alongside Cara Salimando, whose other credits include Pussy Riot’s “Police State,” Jarina De Marco’s “STFU,” Grace Mitchell’s “French Becky,” Kesha’s “Hymn,” Dua Lipa’s “Begging,” and The Heydaze’s “New Religion.”

Production duties on “High Rollin” were handled by The Futuristics, who are also responsible for Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” Alex Aiono’s “Does it Feel Like Falling,” Liz Huett’s “STFU & Hold Me,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “Bad Things,” Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody,” and G-Eazy’s “Him & I.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Burns’ upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional singles “Ugly” and “Burn Slow” – is expected to arrive early next year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

“The Good Parts” – featuring promotional singles “Fresh Eyes,” “Give Love,” “Smoke Clears” and “Freeze” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Magazines or Novels” boasts productions from Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX), Emanuel Kiriakou (Jason Derulo), Robopop (Prince Royce), Ian Kirkpatrick (Britney Spears), Nick Ruth (Kelly Clarkson), Warren “Oak” Felder (Liam Payne) and Kyle Moorman (Olly Murs).
