Angel Taylor confirms details for new single “Mama Said”

Angel Taylor has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Mama Said” and will release it on February 22nd via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Production duties on “Mama Said” were collectively handled by Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Lady Gaga) and David “Davix” Foreman (Kelly Price, Deborah Cox).

Taylor’s debut studio collection, “Love Travels,” was released in 2009 via Aware Records in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment/Columbia Records. Entirely produced by Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, OneRepublic), the project delivered fan favorites including “Make Me Believe” and “Not Even Human.”

Besides providing guest vocals on Tritonal’s “Getaway” and Arty’s “Keep Me Up,” Taylor has also co-penned songs for Toni Braxton (“Sometimes”), Pixie Lott (“Never Mean it More”) and Rozzi Crane (“Jealous”).

Thomas Rhett premieres “Leave Right Now” music video

Thomas Rhett has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for “Leave Right Now (Martin Jensen Mix)” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Monday (May 21, 2018).

The track, which appears on Rhett’s latest album “Life Changes,” was co-written by Ed Drewett (Craig David, Sinead Harnett), John “JRY” Ryan (Raye, Jessie Ware) and Julian Bunetta (Harry Styles, Niall Horan).

Rhett is also recording new music with the songwriters and producers including Brian Kennedy, James Fauntleroy, Dallas Davidson, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Jacob Kasher, and Charlie Puth.

Teyana Taylor selects release date for sophomore album

Teyana Taylor has selected the release date for her upcoming sophomore album.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress’ second studio collection will arrive on June 22 via GOOD Music in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project is executive-produced by Kanye West, who also helmed tracks for Mariah Carey (“Stay the Night”), Janet Jackson (“My Baby”), Keyshia Cole (“I Changed My Mind”), Brandy (“Talk About Our Love”), Monica (“Knock Knock”), Alicia Keys (“You Don’t Know My Name”) and Beyonce (“Party”).

Taylor’s debut studio collection, 2014’s “VII,” debuted at number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Maybe,” “Business” and the Chris Brown-featuring “Do Not Disturb.”

That project also delivered contributions from Harmony Samuels (“Put Your Love On”), James Fauntleroy (“Just Different”), Stacy Barthe (“Outta My League”), Eric Bellinger (“Broken Hearted Girl”), Courtney Harrell (“It Could Just Be Love”), Vidal Davis (“Sorry”) and Brian Kennedy (“Dreams”).

Thirdstory release debut album “Cold Heart”

American band Thirdstory – composed of singers/songwriters Elliott Skinner, Richard Saunders, and Ben Lusher – have released their debut album online.

“Cold Heart” – featuring promotional singles “Still in Love,” “G Train” and “Searching for a Feeling” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The album was prominently produced by Malay, whose resume boasts additional works with Sam Smith (“Midnight Train”), Frank Ocean (“Nikes”), Zayn Malik (“It’s You”), Lorde (“Sober”), Alessia Cara (“Wild Things”), Tori Kelly (“Talk”), Alicia Keys (“One Thing”) and John Legend (“Green Light”).

Kennedy’s songwriting and production credits include Chris Brown’s “Forever,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Mr. Know it All,” Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” Jennifer Hudson’s “If This Isn’t Love,” Brandy’s “Fall,” Teyana Taylor’s “Business,” Fantasia’s “No Time for It,” Pia Toscano’s “This Time,” and Joe Jonas’ “See No More.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow musicians LaShawn Daniels, Ali Tamposi, Dewain Whitmore, Ester Dean, James Fauntleroy, Frankie Storm, Alonzo “Novel” Stevenson, Kelly Sheehan, Jasper Cameron, Heather Bright, Ashley Gorley, Hillary Lindsey, Andre Merritt, Kasia Livingston, Claude Kelly, Makeba Riddick, and Troy Verges.

Meanwhile, Taylor is expected to release the follow-up to 2009’s “Love Travels” later this year via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Kennedy’s recent credits include Rihanna’s “Close to You” [Roc Nation], Fantasia’s “No Time for It” [RCA], CeeLo Green’s “Smells Like Fire” [Atlantic], and Teyana Taylor’s “Business” [GOOD Music / Def Jam].

His extensive resume boasts further works with Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”), Kelly Clarkson (“Mr. Know it All”), Joe Jonas (“See No More”), Jennifer Hudson (“If This Isn’t Love”), Brandy (“Fall”) and Ciara (“My Love”).

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Work” – featuring Drake – to her Vevo channel on Monday (February 22, 2016).

“Work” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Rihanna and Drake along with Allen Ritter, Jahron “PartyNextDoor” Braithwaite, Rupert “Sevn” Thomas and Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels.

Video treatment was collectively handled by Director X (Little Mix, Kendrick Lamar) and Tim Erem (Major Lazer, Tove Lo).
