Bridget Kelly drafts Tiffany Fred, Jukebox for new promotional single “Sedated”

Bridget Kelly has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Sedated” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Tiffany Fred, whose other credits include Zendaya’s “Replay,” Sevyn Streeter’s “Just Being Honest,” Tamar Braxton’s “King,” Fantasia Barrino’s “Supernatural Love,” La’Porsha Renae’s “Good Woman,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Invisible,” and Keri Hilson’s “Scream.”

Production duties on “Sedated” were handled by Jukebox, who is also responsible for Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair,” Cher Lloyd’s “Superhero,” Chris Brown’s “First 48,” Jacob Latimore’s “Dance Floor Killa,” Antonique Smith’s “Losing Control (Shots Fired),” and Blake Lewis’ “Afraid.”

Featuring previous promotional single “Happy for Me,” Kelly’s upcoming debut album, tentatively entitled “Reality Bites,” is expected to arrive early next year.

As a songwriter, Kelly co-wrote “Einestein” for Kelly Clarkson alongside James Fauntleroy and Toby Gad. Originally entitled “Dumb plus Dumb equals You,” the track appears on Clarkson’s 2011 album “Stronger,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Bridget Kelly has shared a new song online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Happy for Me” to her SoundCloud channel on Tuesday (October 03, 2017).

The track was co-written by Tiffany Fred, whose other credits include Zendaya’s “Replay,” Sevyn Streeter’s “Just Being Honest,” Tamar Braxton’s “King,” Fantasia Barrino’s “Supernatural Love,” La’Porsha Renae’s “Good Woman,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Invisible,” and Keri Hilson’s “Scream.”

Kelly’s current mixtape “Time Flies” – featuring 10 songs including “So Epic,” “Suffocates Me,” “Carry My Cross,” “Love You More” and “Afterlife” – is now available for streaming via online mixtape distribution platform DatPiff.

That collection also delivers contributions from Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis (Whitney Houston), Crystal Nicole (Mary J. Blige), Al Shux (Kelela), Stacy Barthe (Alicia Keys), James Fauntleroy (Beyonce), Lil Eddie (Charlie Wilson), Mansur Zafr (Ashanti) and Corey Chorus (Estelle Swaray).

In case you didn’t know, “When in Rome” – which appears on La’Porsha Renae’s debut album “Already All Ready” – was initially recorded by Bridget Kelly during her time with Roc Nation. The track was co-written by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels alongside Eric Bellinger and Courtney Harrell.

Bridget Kelly teams up with Guordan Banks for new collaboration

Bridget Kelly has teamed up with Guordan Banks for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter is known for penning John Legend’s “Caught Up,” Keyshia Cole’s “Get it Right,” RaVaughn’s “I’m So Fucked Up,” K. Michelle’s “Maybe I Should Call,” and Vivian Green’s “Anything Out There.”

Banks’ extensive resume boasts further works with fellow songwriters and producers Jessyca Wilson, Vidal Davis, Elijah Blake, Ivan Barias, Dave Tozer, Bianca Atterberry, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Eric Hudson, Kwame Holland, Happy Perez, Warren “Oak” Felder, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, and The Stereotypes.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Kelly’s first studio collection, tentatively entitled “All or Nothing,” is expected later this year.

“Time Flies” – featuring 10 new songs including “So Epic,” “Suffocates Me,” “Carry My Cross,” “Love You More” and “Afterlife” – is now available for streaming via online mixtape distribution platform DatPiff.

The collection also delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Jerry Duplessis (Whitney Houston), Crystal Nicole (Mary J. Blige), Arden Altino (Jennifer Hudson), Al Shux (Lianne La Havas), James Fauntleroy (Beyonce), Drew Scott (Tynisha Keli) and Jordan Bratton (Kim Cesarion).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Kelly’s highly-anticipated debut album “All or Nothing” is expected to arrive later this year.

On the songwriting front, Kelly is known for co-writing “Einestein” for Kelly Clarkson alongside James Fauntleroy and Toby Gad.

Bridget Kelly releases new EP “Summer of 17”

Bridget Kelly has released her new EP online.

The mini-collection entitled “Summer of 17” – featuring lead single “Act Like That” with guest vocals from R&B crooner Mack Wilds – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with The Initiative Group.

In addition to Wilds, “Summer of 17” boasts further alliances with Da Internz (Tinashe, Chris Brown), Micah Powell (Omarion, Keke Palmer), Swagg R’Celious (Justine Skye, Gabi Wilson) and Asia Bryant (Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez).

Kelly’s previous EP, 2013’s “Cut to… Bridget Kelly,” was released through Roc Nation Records and spawned hit single “Special Delivery.”

On the songwriting front, Kelly is known for co-writing “Einstein” for RCA recording artist Kelly Clarkson along with James Fauntleroy (Sinead Harnett, Justin Timberlake) and Toby Gad (Alicia Keys, John Legend).

Kelly’s resume includes works with other hitmakers including Shea Taylor (Beyonce, K. Michelle), Linda Perry (Pink, Sam Smith), Eric Hudson (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey) and Al Shux (Elle Varner, Lianne La Havas).

Bridget Kelly drafts Mack Wilds for new single “Act Like That”

Bridget Kelly has dropped her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Act Like That” to her official SoundCloud channel on Thursday (July 30, 2015).

“Act Like That” features vocals from fellow recording artist and actor Mack Wilds, who’s currently working on his sophomore album and follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story” [Larger Than Life Records].

Meanwhile, Kelly’s upcoming EP is entitled “Summer of 17” and will be available for download from August 5 through iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly features productions from Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark of Da Internz (Sevyn Streeter, Tamar Braxton) and Christopher “C4” Umana (Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland).

Bridget Kelly hits the studio with Da Internz for debut album “All or Nothing”

Bridget Kelly has teamed with Da Internz for her upcoming debut album.

The songwriting and production duo – consisting of members Ernest “Tuo” Clark and Marcos “Kosine” Palacios – recently helmed “Clueless” for Usher along with RoccStar, Dewain Whitmore and J-Doe.

They have also contributed to the next projects by Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records], Jazmine Sullivan [RCA Records] and Tamia [Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, Kelly will release her first full-length LP next year. “All or Nothing” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Cut To…Bridget Kelly,” which spawned the Kendrick Lamar-assisted / Shea Taylor-produced “Street Dreamin.”
