American singer/songwriter Victoria Loren Kelly, professionally known as Tori Kelly, has announced the details for her new single.
“Sorry Would Go a Long Way” is scheduled to arrive on June 28 via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Bruno Major, whose resume boasts additional works with SG Lewis (“Times We Had”), Liv Dawson (“Somewhere Good”), Aquilo (“The Road Less Wandered”), Eliza (“Alone & Unfraid”) and Sarah Close (“Perfect After All”).

Production duties on “Sorry” were handled by Jimmy Napes, who is also responsible for Sam Smith’s “Dancing With a Stranger,” Rita Ora’s “Velvet Rope,” Alicia Keys’ “Hallelujah,” Madonna’s “Best Night,” Lianne La Havas’ “Wonderful,” and Mary J. Blige’s “Right Now.”
As mentioned in earlier posts, Kelly’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2018’s “Hiding Place” – featuring previous single “Change Your Mind” – is expected to drop later this year via Schoolboy Records / Capitol Records.
The still-untitled project reportedly yields additional alliances with Fred Cox, Tayla Parx, Warren “Oak” Felder, Emily Warren, Wayne Hector, Fabienne Holloway, Stephan Moccio, Natasha Bedingfield, Knightstarr, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Noel Zancanella, JHart, and Mojam Music.
