Christina Aguilera releases new album “Liberation”

Christina Aguilera has released her eighth studio collection online.

“Liberation” – featuring promotional singles “Accelerate,” “Fall in Line,” “Twice” and “Like I Do” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” boasts productions from Kanye West, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Hudson Mohawke, Kosine, Noah Goldstein, Charlie Heat, Dumbfounded, Anderson Paak, MNEK, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, Neenyo, Sango, Jon Bellion, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Tim Anderson, and Ricky Reed.

On the songwriting front, Aguilera has worked with Ilsey Juber, Teddy Geiger, Kirby Lauryen, Erik Hassle, Bibi Bourelly, LunchMoney Lewis, Tayla Parx, Justin Tranter, Whitney Phillips, Audra Mae, and Julia Michaels.

Trey Songz reunites with Christopher “C4” Umana for new album “Trigga”

Trey Songz has reunited with Christopher “C4” Umana for his upcoming LP.

The pair previously teamed up on “Chapter V” hit single “Simply Amazing,” which debuted at number eight on the UK Singles Chart.

Umana is also known for co-writing and producing Tank’s “Next Breath” [Atlantic Records] and Kelly Rowland’s “Keep It Between Us” [Republic Records].

As previously reported, Trey Songz is scheduled to release his new album “Trigga” on July 1 via Warner Music Group / Songbook / Atlantic Records.

New single “SmartPhones” – produced by Bryan “Composer” Nelson and Alvin Isaacs – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Trigga” boasts further contributions from Soundz (Usher, LeToya Luckett), Makeba Riddick (Avant, Jennifer Lopez), Da Internz (Rihanna, Elle Varner), Sam Hook (Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson) and DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Rita Ora).

Trey Songz has premiered the music video for his new single online.

“SmartPhones” – produced by Bryan “Composer” Nelson and Alvin Isaacs –marks the second promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming sixth studio album, “Trigga,” out on June 30 via Songbook / Atlantic Records.

The track was co-written by Sam Hook, whose resume includes works for Mary J. Blige [Matriarch Records], Ne-Yo [Motown Records], Miley Cyrus [RCA Records] and Keri Hilson [Interscope Records].

Video treatment was handled by Gil Green, whose credits also include Jason Derulo’s “Stupid Love” [Warner Bros. Records], Cher Lloyd’s “I Wish” [Epic Records] and Flo Rida’s “Tell Me When You Ready” [Atlantic Records].

As previously reported, “Trigga” will boast productions from Troy Taylor (Tank, K. Michelle), DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Kid Ink), Da Internz (Rihanna, Elle Varner), Amadeus (Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole) and Soundz (Ciara, LeToya Luckett).

The highly-anticipated new collection by Trey Songz – born Tremaine Neverson – serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Chapter V,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Trey Songz has unleashed his new single online.

“Smart Phones” – produced by Bryan “Composer” Nelson and Alvin Isaacs – marks the second promotional release from his upcoming sixth album, “Trigga,” out on June 30 via Warner Music Group / Songbook / Atlantic Records.

The track was co-written by Sam Hook, who previously teamed with the artist on the DJ Mustard-produced “Na Na.”

Other notable songwriting credits by Hook – born Samuel Jean – are “Opposites Attract” (performed by Curtis Fields), “Drive” (performed by Miley Cyrus) and “4 Years Old” (performed by Chris Brown).

“Trigga” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Chapter V,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles including “Heart Attack,” “2 Reasons” and “Simply Amazing.”

Among the contributors on the new album are Troy Taylor (K. Michelle, Durrell “Tank” Babbs), Soundz (Usher, LeToya Luckett), Da Internz (Tamar Braxton, Jazmine Sullivan) and Amadeus (Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown).
