Liam Bailey reveals credits for debut album “Definitely Now”

Liam Bailey has revealed the songwriting credits for his upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Definitely Now” on August 19 via Sony Music Entertainment / Masterworks / Flying Buddha Records.

Lead single “On My Mind” – written by Bailey along with Thomas Brenneck, Leon Michels, Nick Movoshon and Jeff Silverman – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

As previously reported, “Definitely Now” is executively produced by Salaam Remi, who also worked on the next projects by Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music] and Jazmine Sullivan [RCA Records].

The highly-anticipated LP yields further productions and songwriting contributions from Fraser T. Smith (Ella Eyre, Rebecca Ferguson), Zane Lowe (Sam Smith, Tinie Tempah) and Jonathan Shorten (Gabrielle, Joss Stone).

Liam Bailey debuts new single “Villain”

Liam Bailey has debuted his new single online.

“Villain” marks the second promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, “Definitely Now.”

The highly-anticipated LP is executively produced by Salaam Remi, whose extensive resume includes works for Ciara (“Click Flash”), Fergie (“Labels of Love”), Craig David (“My First Love”) and Nelly Furtado (“Soak it Up”).

Remi also confirmed placements on the next releases by Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Kat Dahlia [Epic Records], Jazmine Sullivan [RCA Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music] and Avery Wilson [RCA Records].

Liam Bailey has unwrapped the tracklisting for his upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Definitely Now” on August 19 via Sony Music Entertainment / Buddha Records.

The project is executively produced by Salaam Remi, whose recent credits include Jazmine Sullivan “Dumb” [RCA Records], Mack Wilds’ “My Crib” [Larger than Life Records] and James Arthur’s “New Tattoo” [Syco Music].

Fans of Remi’s production work should look out for the next releases by Avery Wilson [RCA Records], Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Kat Dahlia [Vested in Culture / Epic Records] and Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Bailey is known for providing guest vocals on hit singles “Soon Come” by Shy FX [Digital Soundboy], “Big Man” by Chase & Status [Mercury Records] and “Breath” by Delilah [Atlantic Records].

Liam Bailey inks new deal with Salaam Remi’s Buddha Records

British singer/songwriter Liam Bailey has signed a new deal with Buddha Records and will release his debut album later this year.

The Sony Masterworks imprint is headed by legendary producer Salaam Remi, whose extensive resume includes works for Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Leona Lewis [Syco Music] and Nelly Furtado [Interscope Records].

Some of his recent credits include “Own It” by Mack Wilds [Larger Than Life Records], “Make Love to Me” by Luke James [Mercury Records] and “New Tattoo” by James Arthur [Simco Limited / Syco Music].

Meanwhile, Bailey recently teamed up with dub producer Shy FX on hit single “Soon Come.” The track peaked at number six on the UK Indie Chart and received praise from David Rodigan, Zane Lowe, and Annie Mac.

He also co-wrote and performed on the 2011 top 5 single “Blind Faith” by Chase & Status. The track appears on the electronic duo’s album, “No More Idols.”
