Kylie Minogue returns with promotional single “New York City”

Kylie Minogue has released her new promotional single online.

“New York City” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Minogue alongside Karen Poole (Arlissa, Becky Hill), Daniel “DJ Fresh” Stein (Rita Ora, Ella Eyre) and Myles “Mylo” MacInnes (Gloria Estefan, Noah Cyrus).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Minogue’s upcoming greatest hits album, “Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection,” is scheduled to arrive on June 28 via BMG Rights Management / Parlophone Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Richard Stannard, Guy Chambers, Cathy Dennis, Mike Spencer, Cutfather, Kara DioGuardi, Greg Kurstin, Calvin Harris, Mima Stilwell, Jim Elliot, Mark Taylor, Paula Abdul, Sky Adams, and Danny Shah.

Normani taps Calvin Harris for new singles “Checklist” and “Slow Down”

Normani has tapped the production services of Calvin Harris for her new singles.

“Checklist” (which was co-written by Starrah) and “Slow Down” (which was co-written by Jessie Reyez) are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Besides recently topping the UK Singles Chart with Sam Smith (“Promises”) and Dua Lipa (“One Kiss”), Harris also wrote and produced tracks for Rihanna (“We Found Love”), Kylie Minogue (“Too Much”), Sophie Ellis Bextor (“Off and On”), Rita Ora (“I Will Never Let You Down”) and Mary J. Blige (“One Life”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Normani is currently working on her upcoming debut album under Keep Cool / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Stargate, Boi-1da, DJ Mustard, Nova Wav, Jahaan Sweet, London on Da Track, Joel Little, Sevn Thomas, D’Mile, Jimmy Napes, and Sons of Sonix.

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has teamed up with Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris for his new promotional single.

“One Kiss” – which was co-written by Canadian recording artist Jessie Reyez – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa’s upcoming sophomore studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Lindy Robbins, Justin Tranter, Sasha Sloan, Andrew Wyatt, Caroline Ailin, Koz, Sarah Aarons, MNEK, Ilsey Juber, King Henry, Emily Warren, Grades, Sarah Hudson, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

Calvin Harris drafts Rihanna for new single “This Is What You Came For”

Calvin Harris has announced the title of his new single.

The Scottish DJ and record producer christened “This is What You Came For” – featuring Rihanna – as the next promotional cut from his upcoming album.

Harris previously teamed up with the Barbadian songstress on “Rated R” singles “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been,” which peaked to numbers one and five on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

His fifth studio collection – featuring previous single “How Deep is Your Love” – is expected to be released later this year through Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “Motion,” which spawned guest appearances from Ellie Goulding (“Outside”), James Newman (“Blame”), Tinashe (“Dollar Signs”) and Gwen Stefani (“Together”).

Ellie Goulding hints at new collaboration with Calvin Harris

Ellie Goulding has hinted at a new collaboration with Calvin Harris.

“Nice musical instruments @calvinharris,” the British singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram account on Friday (February 13, 2016).

Goulding previously teamed up with Harris on hit singles “I Need Your Love” and “Outside,” taken from the Scottish DJ and record producer’s albums “18 Months” and “Motion,” respectively.

Her latest studio collection “Delirium” – featuring singles “On My Mind” and “Army” – is now available for download via Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

Meanwhile, Harris is expected to release his fifth album later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Current single “How Deep is Your Love” – with English production trio Disciples and Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen – peaked to number two on the UK Singles Chart and twenty-seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

On the production front, Harris – real name Adam Wiles – is known for his works with Rihanna (“We Found Love”), Kylie Minogue (“Too Much”), Sophie Ellis Bextor (“Off & On”), and Rita Ora (“I Will Never Let You Down”).

Gwen Stefani reveals new song title “Used to Love You”

Gwen Stefani has revealed a new song title from her upcoming third album.

“Used to Love You” is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2006’s “The Sweet Escape.”

The track was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who are also behind Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic], Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope] and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [Epic].

Production duties on “Used to Love You” were handled by Jonathan Rotem, who is also behind Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Syco], Meghan Trainor’s “No Good for You” [Epic] and Nicki Minaj’s “Marilyn Monroe” [Republic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stefani is expected to release her forthcoming album – featuring previous singles “Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark the Fire” – later this year through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts further alliances with Benny Blanco, Charli XCX, Cashmere Cat, Ryn Weaver, Calvin Harris, Sia Furler, Ryan Tedder, Noel Zancanella, Raja Kumari, Greg Kurstin, and Mattman & Robin.

John Newman has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I’m Not Your Man” to his Vevo channel on Monday (October 12, 2015).

“I’m Not Your Man” was written by Newman along with Toby Gad, whose other credits include John Legend’s “All of Me” [Columbia], Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope] and Tori Kelly’s “First Heartbreak” [Capitol].

Newman’s upcoming sophomore album “Revolve” – featuring previous singles “Come and Get It” and “Tiring Game” – is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on October 16 through Island Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Tribute” boasts further contributions from Greg Kurstin (Sia, Ellie Goulding), Jack Splash (Solange, Katy Perry), Calvin Harris (Rihanna, Kylie Minogue) and James Newman (Ed Sheeran, Little Mix).

Calvin Harris has unleashed the music video for his new single online.

The Scottish record producer posted the visual clip for the Disciples-assisted “How Deep is Your Love” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (August 06, 2015).

Video treatment was handled by regular collaborator Emil Nava, whose other credits include LunchMoney Lewis (“Bills”), Ed Sheeran (“Thinking Out Loud”), Ne-Yo (“She Knows”) and Kwabs (“Right or Wrong”).

Furthermore, the track features vocals from its co-writer Ina Wroldsen, whose resume boasts works for Shontelle (“Impossible”) Britney Spears (“He About to Lose Me”), Cover Drive (“Twilight”) and Jess Glynne (“Hold My Hand”).

Harris’ latest album “Motion” – now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records – features previous singles “Pray to God,” “Summer,” “Blame” and “Wide Open.”

John Newman has confirmed the details for his upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter christened his next studio collection “Revolve” and will release it on October 16 through Island Records.

Current single “Come and Get It” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Greg Kurstin, whose other credits include Sia (“Chandelier”), Years & Years (“Shine”) and Kelly Clarkson (“Heartbeat Song”).

“Revolve” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Tribute,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Love Me Again,” “Cheating,” “Losing Sleep” and “Out of My Head.”

On the songwriting front, Newman co-penned Calvin Harris’ “Blame” [Columbia Records], Jessie J’s “Fire” [Republic Records], Olly Murs’ “Stick with Me” [Epic Records] and Rudimental’s “Feel the Love” [Atlantic Records].

Calvin Harris has released the music video for his new single online.

The Scottish DJ and record producer posted the Emil Nava-directed clip for “Pray to God” to his official Vevo channel on Wednesday (February 11, 2015).

“Pray to God” is lifted from the artist’s latest album, “Motion,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Columbia Records.

The HAIM-assisted track was co-written and co-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, whose recent credits include Madonna’s “Living for Love” [Interscope Records] and Rae Morris’ “Closer” [Atlantic Records].

Other artists backing Harris on “Motion” are All About She [Disturbing London], John Newman [Island Records], Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], Big Sean [Def Jam Recordings] and Tinashe [RCA Records].
