Since its a slow news day, I thought about writing this post, which has been on my mind for a while now. Its about songwriters/producers who worked with two artists that are frequently associated with one another. Candice Nelson is an American singer/songwriter, who is known for co-penning Britney Spears’ “Radar,” Keri Hilson’s “Return the Favor,” Mary J. Blige’s “Take Me As I Am,” Brandy’s “Who is She to You,” LeToya Luckett’s “She Don’t,” Bobby Valentino’s “Anonymous,” Kiley Dean’s “Make Me a Song”, Ciara’s “That’s Right,” and Sunshine Anderson’s “Something I Wanna Give You.”

Her extensive resume boasts further works for Karina Pasian (“Official Girl”), Fantasia (“I Nominate You”), Jennifer Hudson (“Pocketbook”), Nikki Flores (“Pain Killer”), Bayje (“Mean Girlz”), Jennifer Lopez (“Brave”), Katharine McPhee (“Open Toes”), Marie Digby (“Daybreak”), Alicia Keys (“Heartburn”), Teyana Taylor (“Translation”) and Victoria Beckham (“Resentment”).

Candice Glover delays release for debut album ‘Music Speaks’

Candice Nelson has delayed the release of her upcoming debut album.

Initially scheduled for release on July 16, “Music Speaks” will now hit the stores on October 8 via Universal Music Group / 19 Recordings / Interscope Records.

Lead single “I Am Beautiful” was written by Joleen Belle and Jaden Michaels. Production duties were handled by Roahn Hylton and John Lock.

“Music Speaks” is confirmed to yield additional alliances from Harvey Mason Jr. (Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson), Makeba Riddick (Fantasia Barrino, Jessica Simpson) and Durrell “Tank” Babbs (Toni Braxton, LeToya Luckett).

Mindless Behavior unveil songwriting credits for new album ‘All Around the World’

Mindless Behavior have revealed the songwriting credits for their upcoming sophomore album, “All around the World,” which is due in the United States on March 12 via Universal Music Group / Streamline Records / Interscope Records.

Lead single “Keep Her on the Low” was co-written by Sean “The Pen” Garrett, who is known for helming hit singles including “Put It Down” by Brandy featuring Chris Brown [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Now That You Got It” by Gwen Stefani [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records].

The follow-up to 2011’s “#1 Girl” features additional songwriting contributions from Candice Nelson (Brandy, Keri Hilson), Ester Dean (Ciara, Rita Ora), Makeba Riddick (Rihanna, Toni Braxton) and Ursula Yancy (Bobby Valentino, Kristinia DeBarge), as well as productions from Walter Millsap (Beyonce, LeToya Luckett), Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez) and Da Internz: Marcos “Kosine” Palacios & Ernest “Tuo” Clark (Jordin Sparks, Kelly Rowland).

Mindless Behavior have unveiled the official tracklisting for their upcoming sophomore album, “All Over the World,” which is due in the United States on March 12 via Universal Music Group / Streamline Records / Interscope Records.
