Tori Kelly teams up with Jeff Gitty for new collaboration

Tori Kelly has teamed up with Jeff Gitty for a new collaboration.

The American musician (born Jeffrey Gitelman) recently produced and co-wrote “Sweaters” for Allen Stone alongside Nasri Atweh of Magic.  The track is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Gitty’s resume boasts additional works with Jojo (“Joanna”), Brandy (“Freedom Rings”), H.E.R. (“As I Am”), Trey Songz (“She Lovin’ It”), Camila Cabello (“All These Years”), Dinah Jane (“SZNS”), Amber Mark (“What If”), Kali Uchis (“Gotta Get Up”) and Tommy Genesis (“Lucky”).

Meanwhile, Kelly is currently working on her next project with the likes of Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Marcus James, Hue Strother, Monro, and The Rascals (aka Leon Thomas and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes).

Her latest album “Inspired By True Events” peaked to number 97 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Sorry Would Go a Long Way,” “Change Your Mind,” “Language” and “2 Places.”

Tori Kelly has enlisted The Rascals for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo – composed of Khristopher Riddick-Tynes and Leon Thomas – recently helmed Kehlani’s “You Know Wassup” alongside regular collaborator Antonio Dixon.

Other notable credits by The Rascals include Arin Ray’s “Change,” Chris Brown’s “Emerald,” G-Eazy’s “Scary Nights,” Jessie Reyez’s “Body Count,” Ariana Grande’s “Tattooed Heart,” JP Saxe’s “Women Who Look Like You,” Rick Ross’ “Gold Roses,” Zendaya’s “Something New,” and Kevin Abstract’s “Baby Boy.”

Meanwhile, Tori Kelly’s re-released her latest studio album “Inspired By True Events” with two additional songs in the shape of “Until Forever” and “Minute to Myself” (both produced by Jimmy Napes).

The follow-up to 2018’s “Hiding Place” peaked to number ninetey-seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Sorry Would Go a Long Way,” “Change Your Mind,” “Language” and “2 Places.”

The American record producer previously worked with Tamar Braxton (“Love & War”), Mary J. Blige (“Thick of It”), Ne-Yo (“Good Man”), Jessie J (“Not My Ex”), Trey Songz (“Pretty Girl’s Lie”), Christina Aguilera (“Masochist”), Mariah Carey (“Dedicated”) and Keyshia Cole (“Trust & Believe”).

Meanwhile, Tori Kelly’s latest album “Inspired By True Events” – featuring singles “Change Your Mind,” “Sorry Would Go a Long Way,” “Language” and “2 Places” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2018’s “Hiding Place” boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Jimmy Napes, Noel Zancanella, Ashley Gorley, Britten Newbill, Mike Elizondo, Tayla Parx, Justin Tranter, Audra Mae, Nate Campany, Hayley Warner, Dante Jones, Drew Love, and Bruno Major.

Sam Smith enlists Ali Tamposi, Andrew Watt for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Samuel Frederick Smith, known professionally as Sam Smith, has enlisted Ali Tamposi and Andrew Watt for a new collaboration.

The songwriting production duo recently helmed “Liar” by Camila Cabello alongside Jordan Johnson and Stefan Johnson of The Monsters & Strangerz. The track – which samples Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long” and Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

Other notable credits by Tamposi and Wyatt are Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Senorita,” Cardi B’s “Through Your Phone,” Rita Ora and Liam Payne’s “For You,” Charlotte Lawrence’s “Why Do You Love Me,” Marshmello and Selena Gomez’s “Wolves,” DJ Snake featuring Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You,” and The Chainsmokers and Bebe Rexha’s “Call You Mine.”

Meanwhile, Smith is expected to release his upcoming third album – featuring singles “Dancing With a Stranger” (with Normani) and “How Do You Sleep?” – later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Halsey confirms details for third album “Manic”

Halsey has confirmed the details for her upcoming third album.

The American singer/songwriter dubbed her next studio collection “Manic” and will release it on 17 January 2020 via Capitol Records.

Current single “Graveyard” – which was co-written by Halsey and Amy Allen and collectively produced by Jon Bellion, Louis Bell, Ojivolta, and The Monsters & Strangerz – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2017’s “Hopeless Foundation Kingdom,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “Now or Never,” “Bad at Love” and “Alone.”

Tiwa Savage releases new single “49-99”

Tiwa Savage has released her new single online.

“49-99” – which was produced by Phillip “Pheelz” Moses and co-written by Savage alongside fellow recording artist Olamide – is now available via Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Nigerian singer/songwriter’s upcoming project – which serves as the follow-up to 2017’s “Sugarcane” EP – is expected to arrive later this year via Motown / Capitol Records (US) and Island Records (UK).

Savage recently recorded the track “Keys To the Kingdom,” taken from the original motion picture soundtrack, “The Lion King: The Gift,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Furthermore, Savage’s songwriting credits include Monica’s “Catch Me,” Kenny Lattimore’s “Built to Last,” Chrisette Michele’s “A Couple of Forevers,” Fantasia Barrino’s “Cornbread and Collard Greens,” Miranda Brooke’s “Hater,” Jaicko’s “Oh Yeah,” and Kat DeLuna’s “Push Push.”

Halsey confirms details for new single “Graveyard”

Halsey has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter (born Ashley Frangipane) has christened “Graveyard” as her next promotional cut and will release it on September 13 via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was collectively helmed by Jon Bellion alongside Amy Allen (Sam Smith, Dinah Jane), Ojivolta (Ava Max, Christina Aguilera), Louis Bell (Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes) and The Monsters & Strangerz (Bebe Rexha, Ellie Goulding).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Halsey’s upcoming third album – featuring previous singles “Nightmare” and “Without Me” – is expected to arrive later this year/early next year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.
