Kandace Springs unleashes new song “Forbidden Fruit”

Kandace Springs has unveiled a new song online.

The singer, songwriter and pianist posted the audio clip for “Forbidden Fruit” to her official SoundCloud page on Tuesday (September 2, 2014).

The track was co-written and produced by Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, who have also worked with the likes of Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records], Rihanna [SRP Records] and Livvi Franc [Warner Bros. Records].

As previously reported, Springs’ highly-anticipated debut mini-alum is scheduled for release on September 30 via Blue Note Records.

The self-titled project will spawn further collaborations with Brandon Hodge (Ne-Yo, Trey Songz), Warren Felder (Usher, Mayer Hawthorne), Ronald Colson (Brandy, K. Michelle) and Steve Mostyn (Miguel, Elle Varner).

Kandace Springs has unveiled the artwork for her upcoming EP.

The singer, songwriter and pianist is scheduled to release the self-titled mini-album on September 30 via SRP / Blue Note Records.

The highly-anticipated project is executively produced by Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, who also worked with Rihanna [SRP Records], Kelly Clarkson [RCA Records] and Christina Milian [Young Money Records].

Other musicians backing Springs on the EP are Warren Felder (Usher, Ariana Grande), Andrew Wansel (K. Michelle, Nicki Minaj), Steve Mostyn (Elle Varner, Jennifer Hudson) and Ronald Colson (Brandy, Mary J. Blige).

The singer, songwriter and pianist posted “West Coast” to her official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (August 20, 2014).

The track was produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (Ariana Grande, Sevyn Streeter), Steve “Ace” Mostyn (Jennifer Lopez, Ella Henderson) and Ronald “Flippa” Colson (Elle Varner, K. Michelle).

Springs is scheduled to release her self-titled mini-album on September 30 via iTunes in partnership with SRP Records / Blue Note Records.

The highly-anticipated project is executively produced by New York-based songwriters and music producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken.

The singer, songwriter and pianist posted the audio clip for “Meet Me in the Sky” to her official SoundCloud page on Friday (August 22, 2014).

The track is lifted from the artist’s mini-album, “Kandace Springs,” out on September 30 via SRP Records / Blue Note Records.

As previously reported, New York-based songwriting and production duo Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken will serve as the project’s executive producers.

Kandace Springs has unleashed a new cover video online.

The singer, songwriter and pianist posted her rendition of Jhene Aiko’s “The Worst” to her official YouTube page on Wednesday (June 18, 2014).

The track was produced by Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, who have also worked with artists including Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Livvi Franc [Warner Bros. Records] and Christina Aguilera [RCA Records].

Springs is currently working on her as-yet-untitled debut album with Universal Music Group / Capitol Records / Blue Note Records / SRP Records.

The highly-anticipated LP will boast productions from Brandon Hodge (Ne-Yo, Marsha Ambrosius), Andre Harris (Usher, Justin Timberlake), Warren Felder (Rihanna, Ella Henderson) and Andrew Wansel (Trey Songz, Elle Varner).

Kandace Springs has drafted the songwriting and production services of Andrea Martin and James Poyser for her upcoming debut album.

The singer, songwriter and pianist is expected to release her debut album later this year via SRP Music Group / Blue Note / Capitol Records.

Recent songwriting credits by Andrea Martin include Paloma Faith’s “Trouble with My Baby” [RCA Records], Naughty Boy’s “Think About It” [Virgin EMI Records] and Stooshe’s “See Me Like This” [Warner Bros. Records].

Meanwhile, James Poyser is responsible for producing “Sober Up” by Mack Wilds [Larger Than Life Records], “Life Has a Way” by Anthony Hamilton [RCA Records] and “Window Seat” by Erykah Badu [Motown Records].

As previously reported, the debut LP by Kandace Springs will be executively produced by New York-based hitmakers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken.

Singer, songwriter and pianist Kandace Springs has recently teamed up with Warren “Oak” Felder and Andrew “Pop” Wansel.

The results of their collaboration are expected to appear on the artist’s upcoming debut album with SRP Music Group / Blue Note / Capitol Records.

Warren “Oak” Felder and Andrew “Pop” Wansel have previously teamed up with Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Trey Songz [Atlantic Records] and Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings].

Some of their recent songwriting and production credits include “V.S.O.P.” by K. Michelle [Atlantic Records], “A Couple of Forevers” by Chrisette Michele [Motown Records] and “Shit Happens” by Bridget Kelly [Roc Nation Records].

Singer, songwriter and pianist Kandace Springs is scheduled to collaborate with Stacy Barthe and Jack Splash for her upcoming debut album.

The still-untitled collection is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / SRP Music Group / Blue Note Records / Capitol Records.

Notable songwriting credits by Stacy Barthe include “Adore You” (performed by Miley Cyrus), “When It’s All Over” (performed by Alicia Keys) and “Like I Love You” (performed by Melanie Fiona).

Meanwhile, Jack Splash is responsible for co-writing and producing K. Michelle’s “Sometimes” [Atlantic Records], The Goodie Mob’s “Valleujah” [The Right Records] and Pixie Lott’s “Heart Cry” [Mercury Records].

The singer/songwriter posted her rendition of “Say Something” by a Great Big World to her official YouTube page on Tuesday (February 18, 2014).

Her upcoming debut album is scheduled to hit shelves later this year via Universal Music Group / SRP / Blue Note / Capitol Records.

Lead single “Love Got in the Way” was written by Kandace Springs along with Evan Rogers, Carl Sturken, and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge.
