Clean Bandit teases new collaboration with Jess Glynne, Jimmy Napes

Clean Bandit have reunited in the studio with Jess Glynne and Jimmy Napes.

“MC Emotional Banger and DJ Vibrancy jamming @jessglynne @jimmynapes,” the British electronic music group – composed of Grace Chatto and siblings Jack and Luke Patterson – posted to their Instagram profile.

Clean Bandit previously teamed with Glynne and Napes on international hit single “Rather Be,” which topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Glynne also provided guest vocals on Clean Bandit’s “Real Love,” which peaked to number two on the UK Singles Chart, and Napes co-wrote “Extraordinary,” which delivered guest vocals from UK singer-songwriter Sharna Bass.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the upcoming sophomore album by Clean Bandit – featuring singles “Tears,” “Rockabye” and “Symphony” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “New Eyes” boasts contributions from Sam Romans (Craig David), Mark Ralph (AlunaGeorge), Ina Wroldsen (Janelle Monae), Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez) and Steve Mac (Demi Lovato).

Other musicians expected to appear on the still-untitled project are Toby Gad (Beyonce), Natasha Bedingfield (Tori Kelly), Labrinth (Noah Cyrus), Priscilla Renae (Rihanna), Cass Lowe (Sam Smith), Eyelar (Diztortion), Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson), MNDR (Charli XCX) and Joel Compass (Tinashe).

Ella Henderson hits the studio with MNEK

Ella Henderson has recorded new music with MNEK.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer – real name Uzoechi Emenike – is known for his works with Jax Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”), Jojo (“Good Thing”), Karen Harding (“Say Something”), Sabina Ddumba (“Time”), Becky Hill (“Warm”), Madonna (“Hold Tight”), Craig David (“Change My Love”), MØ (“Final Song”), Little Mix (“Nothing Feels Like You”) and Beyonce (“Hold Up”).

MNEK fans should also keep an eye on the next projects by Ray BLK, Akon, Christina Aguilera, Zara Larsson, Dua Lipa, Chromeo, Bebe Rexha, Diztortion, Melissa Steel, Tamera Foster, KStewart, Camille Purcell, Terri Walker, Brandon Skeie, Wolfie, Charli XCX, Shift K3Y, and TYNI.

Henderson, on the other hand, will release the follow-up to 2014’s “Chapter One” later this year via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Sigma hits the studio with Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Jean Baptiste Kouame

British drum and bass duo Sigma – composed of Joseph “Joe” Lenzie and Cameron “Cam” Edwards – have recorded new music with Eyelar Mirzazadeh and Jean Baptiste Kouame for their upcoming sophomore album.

Mirzazadeh previously featured on the track “Stay,” taken from Sigma’s debut album, 2015’s “Life.” She is also known for co-writing Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Diztortion’s “I’ll Be There,” Yellow Claw’s “Catch Me,” R3hab’s “Get Up,” Taya’s “Got Me Wondering,” and Redlight’s “Here with Me.”

Meanwhile, Kouame’s songwriting resume boasts works with Little Mix (“F.U.”), Kelis (“Scream”), AlunaGeorge (“Full Swing”), Rihanna (“Woo”), Nikki Minaj (“The Boys”), Madonna (“I’m a Sinner”), Rudimental (“Foreign World”), Leah McFall (“Home”), DJ Mustard (“Whole Lotta Lovin’”), Bonnie McKee (“Broken Record”), Laura Izibor (“Carousel”) and Sevyn Streeter (“It Won’t Stop”).

Sigma’s second studio collection, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Independent UK dance record label, 3BEAT Music.

Anne-Marie unveils music video for new single “Ciao Adios”

Anne-Marie has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Ciao Adios” to her YouTube channel on Thursday (March 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Anne-Marie alongside Jennifer Decilveo, whose other credits include Rebecca Ferguson’s “Without a Woman,” Wynter Gordon’s “Bleeding Out,” Rixton’s “Wait on Me,” Melanie Martinez’s “Play Date,” Andra Day’s “Rise,” Ryn Weaver’s “Free,” and Theory of a Deadman’s “Angel.”

Production duties on “Ciao Adios” were collectively handled by Mason “MdL” Levy (Justin Bieber, Samantha Jade, Mike Posner) and Tom Meredith (Andy Grammar, Brandyn Burnette, Astrid S).

Anne-Marie’s first studio collection, on the other hand, will arrive later this year via Major Tom’s Music and Asylum Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from RAYE, Ed Sheeran, Amy Wadge, JHart, Stacy Barthe, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Chelcee Grimes, Luke James, Natasha Bedingfield, Jin Jin, Wayne Hector, Ina Wroldsen, Thomas Jules, and Laura Dockrill.

Ella Henderson has teamed up with British songwriter/vocal producer Maegan Cottone and Canadian production duo Bobby Brass and Sammy G of Kuya Productions for a new collaboration.

Cottone is known for co-writing Little Mix’s “Move,” Ferras’ “Closer,” Britney Spears’ “Pretty Girls” (featuring Iggy Azalea), Olly Murs’ “Up” (featuring Demi Lovato), Fleur East’s “Know Your Name,” Medina’s “Good Enough,” and Jax Jones’ “This is Real” (featuring Selena Gomez).

Meanwhile, notable credits by Kuya Productions include Little Mix’s “F.U.,” Alessia Cara’s “Here,” Kandi Burruss’ “I Just Know,” Kreesha Turner’s “There,” Nicole Scherzinger’s “Blow,” Keshia Chante’s “Together,” Jesse McCartney’s “Rock You,” and Shawn Desman’s “Shook.”

American singer/songwriter Gabi Wilson, who also goes by the stage name H.E.R., has teamed up with Emeli Sande for a new collaboration.

Sande’s resume boasts songwriting works with Alicia Keys (“Kill Your Mama”), Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Antonique Smith (“All We Really Have is Now”), Katy Perry (“It Takes Two”), Mary J. Blige (“Whole Damn Year”), Gabrielle (“It Takes Time”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Elle Varner (“Runaway”), Alesha Dixon (“Radio”) and Jess Glynne (“Saddest Vanilla”).

The Scottish artist’s second album “Long Live the Angels” – featuring singles “Hurts,” “Garden,” “Breathing Underwater” and “Highs & Lows” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Astrid S has announced the details for her new single.

The Norwegian singer/songwriter – real name Astrid Smeplass – christened “Breathe” as the lead promotional single from her upcoming debut album and will release it on March 10 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Anastasia Whiteacre (Rachel Platten, Hailee Steinfeld), Rickard Goransson (Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato) and Oscar Holter (Sabina Ddumba, Ellie Goulding).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Astrid S’ first studio collection is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.
