Mabel McVey hits the studio with Cass Lowe

Mabel McVey has teamed up with Cass Lowe for a new collaboration.

The British record producer and songwriter’s recent credits include DNCE’s “TV in the Morning,” Lily Allen’s “Pushing Up Daisies,” MØ’s “Nostalgia,” Paloma Faith’s “Kings and Queens,” and Rudimental’s “Sun Comes Up.”

Fans of his works should also keep an eye on the next releases by Astrid S, Zara Larsson, Nick Jonas, Ray BLK, Stanaj, Alex Aiono, Dagny, Ella Henderson, Goody Grace, Jess Glynne, Stormzy, and Clean Bandit.

Meanwhile, Mabel is expected to release her next project – featuring current single “Fine Line” – later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional contributions from Electric, Fraser T. Smith, MNEK, Bless Beats, Corey Sanders, Jonny Coffer, Tre Jean-Marie, Lostboy, Jordan Riley, Dan Caplen, and TMS.

Lily Allen releases fourth studio collection “No Shame”

Lily Allen has released her fourth studio collection online.

“No Shame” – featuring singles “Trigger Bang” and “Higher” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Sheezus” delivers songwriting contributions from Tim Rice-Oxley, Jenna Andrews, Sam Duckworth, Eliza Caird, Tim Deal, Liana Banks, and Ari PenSmith.

On the production front, Allen has teamed up with Mark Ronson, BloodPop, Ezra Koening, Starsmith, Cass Lowe, Fryars, Emre Ramazanoglu, P2J, Seb Chew, Dre Skull, Jack Nichols-Marcy, and Show N Prove.

Zara Larsson hits the studio with Bastian Langebaek for new collaboration

Zara Larsson has enlisted Bastian Langebaek for a new collaboration.

The Danish record producer and songwriter (also known as Carassius Gold) is responsible for helming Jessie Ware’s “Midnight,” taken from the artist’s third album, “Glasshouse,” which peaked to number seven on the UK Albums Chart.

Langebaek’s resume boasts further works with Aquilo (“Now & Here”), Albin Lee Meldau (“The Weight is Gone”), Guy Sebastian (“Drink Driving”), Rationale (“Vessels”), Jack Garratt (“Worry”), Kiah Victoria (“I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere”), Sabrina Carpenter (“I’m Fine”) and Jess Glynne (“All I Am”).

Meanwhile, Larsson is scheduled to release her and next studio collection and follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly yields additional alliances with The Futuristics, Grades, Andrew Wells, Digital Farm Animals, MNEK, Cass Lowe, Rami Yacoub, TMS, Fred Ball, Jack Patterson, Will IDAP, Jim Lavigne, Sermstyle, Hit Impulse, Kid Joki, and The Electric.

Jess Glynne has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “I’ll Be There” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Friday (May 04, 2018).

Co-written with fellow recording artist Kamille and collectively produced by Starsmith alongside Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen of The Electric; “I’ll Be There” is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Glynne is scheduled to release her second studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly boasts further productions from Ryan Tedder, Knox Brown, Carassius Gold, Toby Gad, Jonny Coffer, Grades, Steve Mac, Cass Lowe, Jax Jones, Mag, and Louis Schoorl.

Jess Glynne reunites with Starsmith for new single “I’ll Be There”

Jess Glynne has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter – born Jessica Hannah Glynne – christened “I’ll Be There” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on May 4 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written and produced by Starsmith, who previously teamed up with Glynne on “I Cry When I Laugh” cuts “Gave Me Something,” “Hold My Hand,” “Ain’t Got Far to Go,” “You Can Find Me” and “It Ain’t Right.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Glynne’s second studio collection is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Ray BLK teams with Naughty Boy, Wyclef Jean for new single “All or Nothing”

British singer/songwriter Ray BLK has teamed up with record producer Naughty Boy for his new single “All or Nothing,” which is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Wyclef Jean-assisted track was co-written Swedish recording artist Seinabo Sey alongside Philip Plested, Kane “KIN” Parfitt and Wesley Muoria-Chavez.

As mentioned in earlier posts, BLK has signed a new deal with Universal Music imprint Island Records UK and will release her next project later this year.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Durt” reportedly boasts further contributions from Fred Ball, Priscilla Renea, Ben Abraham, Dyo, Nile Rodgers, Kamille, Moon Willis, Harloe, Aston Rudi, Kelly Kiara, Cass Lowe, Jin Jin, Rymez, Lil Eddie, Courage, Mr. Hudson, MNEK, Paul Epworth, Chris Loco, and The 23rd.

Zara Larsson drafts The Futuristics for new collaboration

Swedish singer/songwriter Zara Larsson has drafted Alex Schwartz and Joe Khajadourian of The Futuristics for a new collaboration.

The American duo recently co-produced and co-wrote “Wanna Be Missed” for Hayley Kiyoko alongside Jonas Jeberg and Madison Love. The track appears on Kiyoko’s debut album, “Expectations,” out now via Empire / Atlantic Records.

The Futuristics’ are also responsible for G-Eazy’s “Sober,” Selena Gomez’s “Fetish,” Camila Cabello’s “Something’s Gotta Give,” Liz Huett’s “STFU & Hold Me,” Alex Aiono’s “Does it Feel Like Falling,” Halsey’s “Hold Me Down,” Trey Songz’s “Serve it Up,” and Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody.”

Larsson, on the other hand, is expected to release the follow-up to 2017’s “So Good” later this year via TEN Music Group and Epic Records.
