AlunaGeorge premiere music video for new single “Mean What I Mean”

AlunaGeorge have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music duo posted the visual clip for “Mean What I Mean” – featuring Leikeli47 and Dreezy – to their Vevo channel on Wednesday (July 27, 2016).

“Mean What I Mean” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by group members Aluna Francis and George Reid along with Amanda “MNDR” Warner (Kylie Minogue, Sean Paul), Harold Lily (Christina Milian, Toni Braxton) and Dan “Utters” Radclyffe (Sinead Harnett, Ella Eyre).

As mentioned in earlier posts, AlunaGeorge’s upcoming sophomore album “I Remember” – featuring lead single “I’m in Control” – is scheduled to arrive on September 16 via Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

Other album contributors include Mark Ralph, Sam Romans, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Michael McHenry, DJ Replay, Stargate, Charli XCX, John Hill, Noonie Bao, Cass Lowe, Kid Harpoon, Ajay Bhattacharyya, and Cathy Dennis.

AlunaGeorge have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music duo posted the Daniel Iglesias Jr.-directed clip for “I Remember” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (April 14, 2016).

The track was written by group members Aluna Francis and George Reid along with Cass Lowe, whose other credits include Snakehips’ “All My Friends” [Sony Music UK] and Blonde’s “All Cried Out” [Parlophone].

Meanwhile, production duties on “I Remember” – now available for download via iTunes – were collectively handled by Reid and Australian hitmaker Harley Edward Streten, better known by his stage name, Flume.

AlunaGeorge’s upcoming sophomore album “I Remember” – featuring the Sam Romans-assisted / Mark Ralph-produced “I’m in Control” – will be released later this year through Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

The follow-up to 2013’s “Body Music” reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate, Jin Jin, Diplo, Cathy Dennis, Happy Perez, Tom Aspaul, Babydaddy, and Dallas Austin.

Santigold premieres “Can’t Get Enough of Myself” music video

Santigold has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter-producer posted the visual clip for “Can’t Get Enough of Myself” – boasting guest appearances from Olivia Wilde, Jay Z and Pharrell Williams – to her YouTube channel on Monday (March 21, 2016).

Production duties on “Can’t Get Enough of Myself” were handled by Santigold along with regular collaborators Patrik Berger (Icona Pop, Charli XCX) and John Hill (Florence Welch, Elle King).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Santigold’s latest album “99¢” – featuring singles “Who Be Lovin’ Me,” “Chasing Shadows” and “Banshee” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Other album contributors include Rostam Batmanglij (Carly Rae Jepsen), Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry), Dave Sitek (Kelis), Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira), Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears) and Nugget (Kelela).

AlunaGeorge confirmed the title and release date for their sophomore album.

The UK electronic music duo – composed of Aluna Francis and George Reid – christened their second studio collection “I Remember” and will release it on April 29 through Island Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

Lead single “I’m in Control” – now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets – was co-written by Sam Romans (Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige) and Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Lion Babe).

Other album contributors include Cathy Dennis (Santigold), Tom Aspaul (Karen Harding), Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman (Chris Brown), Jin Jin (Olly Murs), Cass Lowe (Tinashe), Happy Perez (Kehlani) and Dallas Austin (Madonna).

AlunaGeorge’s first studio collection, 2013’s “Body Music,” peaked to number eleven on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Your Drums, Your Love,” “Your Know You Like It” and “Attracting Flies.”

On the production front, George Reid recently collaborated with Karen Poole and Dan “Utters” Radclyffe on songs performed by Atlantic Recording artist Taya (“Sweet Waste of Time”) and actor-singer Raleigh Ritchie (A Moor).

Santigold announces new single “Banshee”

Santigold has announced the details for her new single.

The singer-songwriter-producer – real name Santi White – christened “Banshee” as the fourth promotional cut from her upcoming third album “99¢.”

Santigold wrote “Banshee” along with Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry, Ella Henderson), John Hill (Rihanna, Florence Welch), and Patrik Berger (Charli XCX, Icona Pop).

As mentioned in earlier posts, “99¢” – featuring previous singles “Can’t Get Enough of Myself,” “Who Be Lovin’ Me” and “Chasing Shadows” – will be released on February 26 through Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Master of My Make-Believe” boasts additional alliances with Rostam Batmanglij (Carly Rae Jepsen), Nugget (Kelela), Dave Sitek (Kelis), Sam Dew (Jessie Ware), and Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira).

“Chasing Shadows” was written by Santigold along with Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend, whose recent credits include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Warm Blood” [Interscope] and Charli XCX’s “Need Ur Luv” [Atlantic].
