Sevyn Streeter writes new material with Angela Hunte

Sevyn Streeter recently co-wrote new material with hitmaker Angela Hunte.

The results of this collaboration are expected to appear on the upcoming debut album by Streeter, which is due later this year via CBE / Atlantic Records.

Hunte is known for penning hits performed by Jay-Z f/ Alicia Keys (“Empire State of Mind”), Britney Spears (“Do Something”), Melanie Fiona (“Bang Bang”), Danity Kane (“Show Stopper”) and Magnetic Man (“I Need Air”).

Some of her recent songwriting / production placements include “One on One Fun” by Tamar Braxton [Epic Records], “Vixen” by Gyptian [SP Records] and “Torn Apart” by Snoop Lion f/ Rita Ora [RCA Records].

In addition to Hunte, the debut collection by the “It Won’t Stop” star will boast further contributions from Babyface (Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey), Rico Love (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland) and Da Internz (Rihanna, Chris Brown).

Meanwhile, fans of Angela Hunte’s work should watch out for the next projects by Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Ledisi [Verve Forecast], Elle Varner [MBK Entertainment] and Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records].

Sevyn Streeter has revealed the production credits for her upcoming EP.

The singer/songwriter will release “Call Me Crazy, But…” on December 3 via Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “It Won’t Stop” – which features Chris Brown – was produced by Thomas “Diplo” Pentz along with Free School and Picard Brothers.

“Call Me Crazy, But…” boasts further productions from Dernst “D’Mile” Emile (Wynter Gordon, Diggy Simmons), Cameron Wallace (Ciara, Beyonce) and Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark (Usher, Elle Varner).

On the songwriting front, the “I Like It” star – born Amber Streeter – teamed up with Ursula Yancy, Eric Bellinger, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Michael McHenry, Kevin Randolph, and James “J-Doe” Smith.

Sevyn - Call Me Crazy

Sevyn Streeter has previewed a new song online.

“nEXt” is lifted from the singer/songwriter’s debut extended play, “Call Me Crazy, But…,” out on December 3 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The track was produced by Dernst Emile, whose recent credits include “Living It Up” by Ciara [Epic Records], “Black Tears” by Tamar Braxton [Streamline Records] and “Unfinished Songs” by Celine Dion [Columbia Records].

Other artists the music producer – better known as D’Mile – has worked with include Diggy Simmons (“Glow in the Dark”), Wynter Gordon (“Back to You”), Kevin McCall (“Guess Who”) and Janet Jackson (“Feedback”).

Meanwhile, Sevyn – born Amber Streeter – has recently penned songs on the latest albums by Ariana Grande (“The Way”), Kelly Rowland (“Put Your Name on It”), Tamar Braxton (“Pieces”) and Chris Brown (“Fine China”).

Singer/songwriter Sevyn Streeter has unleashed the official artwork and tracklist for her debut mini-album online.

“Call Me Crazy, But…” will be released in the United States on December 3 via Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records. New single “It Won’t Stop” – which features Chris Brown – is now available for download via iTunes.

Among the artists Sevyn has previously penned songs for the likes of Alicia Keys (“New Day”), Kelly Rowland (“Put Your Name On It”), Ariana Grande (“The Way”), Brandy (“Slower”) and Tamar Braxton (“All the Way Home”).

She has also teamed up with super producers including Thomas “Diplo” Pentz, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Da Internz, Rico Love, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Warren “Oak” Felder and Andrew “Pop” Wansel.

Sevyn Streeter has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“It Won’t Stop” – which features Chris Brown – marks the second promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s debut mini-album, “Call Me Crazy, But…,” out on November 5 via Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records.

The track was written by Sevyn Streeter along with Jean Baptiste Kouame aka Free School (Candice Glover, Wynter Gordon) and Thomas Wesley Pentz aka Diplo of Major Lazer (Beyonce Knowles, Katy Perry).

Sevyn Streeter has recently recorded new material with Midi Mafia.

It is yet to be known whether this material will be used for another artist’s project or Streeter’s highly-anticipated upcoming debut album, which is scheduled for release via Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records.

The “I Like It” star recently co-wrote singles including “The Way” by Ariana Grande [Republic Records], “Fine China” by Chris Brown [RCA Records] and “Gone” by Kelly Rowland [Republic Records].

Meanwhile, R&B and hip hop production duo Midi Mafia – which consists of members Kevin Risto & Waynne Nugent – are responsible for “On and On” by Chante Moore [Shanachie Entertainment], “Pictures” by Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records] and “Rocket Love” by Angel [Island Records].

Sevyn Streeter is scheduled to collaborate with The Underdogs for her upcoming debut album on Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records.

The songwriting and production duo – which consists of members Harvey Mason Jr. and Damon Thomas – are responsible for tracks such as “Right to Fall” by Jessica Sanchez [Interscope Records], “Turn Up the Music” by Chris Brown [RCA Records] and “Stay in Love” by Marcus Canty [Epic Records].

They also contributed to the next albums by Ciara [Epic Records], Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Tamar Braxton [Epic Records], Joelle James [CBE / Interscope Records], Leah LaBelle [i am OTHER / So So Def / Epic Records] and Candice Glover [19 Recordings / Interscope Records].

RoccStar is responsible for helming singles “Fine China” by Chris Brown [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Lay Down Your Weapons” by K. Coke featuring Rita Ora [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Claire Demorest [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records], Keri Hilson [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records] and Usher [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].
