Camila Cabello reunites with Shawn Mendes for new single “Senorita”

Camila Cabello has reunited with Shawn Mendes for his new single “Senorita,” which is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Charli XCX alongside Ali Tamposi (Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha), Andrew Watt (Charlie Puth, Justin Bieber), Jack Patterson (Zara Larsson, David Guetta), Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin (Halsey, Ed Sheeran) and Magnus “Cashmere Cat” Hoiberg (Tinashe, Ariana Grande).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring further contributions from Sam Romans, Amy Wadge, and Jordan Reynolds – is expected to arrive later this year via Syco Music / Epic Records.

Her debut studio collection, 2018’s “Camila,” topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Havana,” “Never Be the Same,” “Real Friends” and “Consequences.”

Charli XCX has unwrapped the details for her upcoming album.

The British singer/songwriter (born Charlotte Aitchison) has dubbed her third studio collection “Charli” and will release it on September 13 via Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

Current promotional single “Blame It On Your Love” – featuring Lizzo – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Executive-produced by regular collaborator AG Cook, the follow-up to 2014’s “Sucker” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate, Noonie Bao, Oscar Holter, Sasha Sloan, and Leland.

The highly-anticipated project also yields guest appearances from Christine and the Queens (“Gone”), Sky Ferreira (“Cross You Out”),  Troye Sivan (“2009”), Kim Petras (“Click”) and Brooke Candy (“Shake It”).

Madison Beer unleashes new single “Hurts Like Hell”

Madison Beer has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Hurts Like Hell” – featuring Offset – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Charli XCX, whose other credits include Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love,” AlunaGeorge’s “Jealous,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” Raye’s “I, U, Us,” MØ’s “Drum,” Neon Jungle’s “So Alive,” Alma’s “Phases,” James Blunt’s “When I Find Love Again,” and Ryn Weaver’s “OctaHate.”

Production duties on “Hurts Like Hell” were handled by The Invisible Men, who are also responsible for Cheryl’s “Love Made Me Do It,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” Kara Marni’s “Move,” Bebe Rexha’s “Gateway Drug,” Anne-Marie’s “Heavy,” Britney Spears’ “Pretty Girls,” and Jonas Blue’s “On My Side.”

As mentioned in various media outlets, Beer’s upcoming debut album – which reportedly features further contributions from Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt – will arrive next year via Access Records.

MØ releases new promotional single “Imaginary Friend”

Danish singer/songwriter Karen Ørsted, professionally known as MØ, has released her new promotional single online.

“Imaginary Friend” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Noonie Bao alongside Billy Walsh and Illangelo, who are also responsible for Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart,” Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” Majid Jordan’s “Something About You,” and Emeli Sande’s “Starlight.”

MØ’s upcoming sophomore album “Forever Neverland” – featuring previous singles “Nostalgia,” “Sun in Our Eyes” and “Way Down” – is scheduled to arrive on October 19 via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further songwriting contributions from Ilsey Juber, Jozzy, Cara Salimando, Alexandra “Shungudzo” Govere, Sarah Aarons, Madison Love, Jaramye Daniels, and Charli XCX.

Charli XCX has unleashed her new single online.

“5 in the Morning” – which was co-written by XCX alongside Cleo Tighe and Natalie Dunn – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “5 in the Morning” were handled by Jason Pebworth, George Astasio and Jonathan Shave of The Invisible Men, who previously teamed up with XCX on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and “Beg for It.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, XCX’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The follow-up to 2017’s “Pop 2” reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Stargate, Nate Campany, Ali Tamposi, Fred Ball, Noonie Ball, Andrew Watt, and The Stereotypes.

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has drafted fellow recording artists Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX for her new promotional single “Girls.”

Scheduled to arrive on May 11 via all other digital streaming outlets; “Girls” was written by Ali Tamposi (Beyonce, Demi Lovato), Brian Lee (Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Post Malone, Justin Bieber) and Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande, Rag’n’Bone Man).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s sophomore album – featuring previous singles “Anywhere,” “This Song” and “Proud” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields from songwriting contributions from Jason Boyd, Eyelar, Gabrielle Nowee, Sam Romans, Chelcee Grimes, Diana Gordon, Max McElligott, Ammar Malik, and Justin Tranter.

Having previously collaborated with XCX on her own songs “Break the Rules,” “After the Afterparty” and “Track 10,” Stargate have also worked with XCX songs performed by other artists including Camila Cabello (“OMG”), Selena Gomez (“Same Old Love”) and James Blunt (“If I Find Love Again”).

Stargate’s songwriting and production resume boasts additional works with Tinashe (“No Drama”), Sam Smith (“Too Good at Goodbyes”), Daya (“New”), Rachel Platten (“Broken Glass”), Majid Jordan (“Body Talk”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Bebe Rexha (“I Got Time”) and OneRepublic (“No Vacancy”).

British singer/songwriter Charlotte Aitchison, professionally known as Charli XCX, has enlisted fellow recording artist Andrew Watt for a new collaboration.

Watt recently co-wrote Rita Ora & Liam Payne’s “For You” alongside regular songwriting partner Ali Tamposi and Swedish record producer Ali Payami. The track appears on the original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Freed,” out on February 9th via Republic Records.

Watt’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Camila Cabello (“Havana”), Selena Gomez & Marshmello (“Wolves”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Let Me Go”), DJ Snake & Justin Bieber (“Let Me Love You”), Kygo (“It Ain’t Me”), Rita Ora (“Anywhere”) and Post Malone (“Feeling Whitney”).

Born Jonnali Parmenius, Bao is known for co-writing Camila Cabello’s “Never Be the Same,” Alma’s “Phases,” Zedd’s “Stay,” Demi Lovato’s “Cry Baby,” MØ’s “Final Song,” Katy Perry’s “Save As Draft,” David Guetta’s “Dirty Sexy Money,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away with Me,” and Kygo’s “This Town.”

Meanwhile, Ball’s production resume boasts works with Rihanna (“Love on the Brain”), Toni Braxton (“Deadwood”), Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”), Justine Skye (“Heaven”), Zara Larsson (“One Mississippi”), Madison Beer (“Say it to My Face”), Astrid S (“Does She Know”) and Nina Nesbitt (“Take You to Heaven”).
