Moko unwraps new mini-album “Gold” credits

Moko has unwrapped the songwriting credits for her upcoming mini-album.

The British singer/songwriter – born Diane Nadia Adu-Gyamfi – is scheduled to release “Gold” on September 7 Virgin EMI Records / MTA Records.

Lead single “Your Love” was co-written by Karen Poole, whose recent credits include Kylie Minogue’s “Fine” [Parlophone Records], Nina Nesbitt’s “Mr. C” [Island Records] and Lily Allen’s “Take My Place” [Parlophone Records].

Production duties on “Your Love” were handled by Chase & Status, who have also worked with the likes of Rihanna [SRP Records], Liam Bailey [Buddha Records] and Rita Ora [Columbia Records].

“Gold” – which serves as follow-up to 2013’s “Black” – is confirmed to boast productions and songwriting contributions from Benjamin “Two Inch Punch” Ash (Ella Eyre, Jessie Ware) and Niara Scarlett (Girls Aloud, Danity Kane).

Liam Bailey inks new deal with Salaam Remi’s Buddha Records

British singer/songwriter Liam Bailey has signed a new deal with Buddha Records and will release his debut album later this year.

The Sony Masterworks imprint is headed by legendary producer Salaam Remi, whose extensive resume includes works for Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Leona Lewis [Syco Music] and Nelly Furtado [Interscope Records].

Some of his recent credits include “Own It” by Mack Wilds [Larger Than Life Records], “Make Love to Me” by Luke James [Mercury Records] and “New Tattoo” by James Arthur [Simco Limited / Syco Music].

Meanwhile, Bailey recently teamed up with dub producer Shy FX on hit single “Soon Come.” The track peaked at number six on the UK Indie Chart and received praise from David Rodigan, Zane Lowe, and Annie Mac.

He also co-wrote and performed on the 2011 top 5 single “Blind Faith” by Chase & Status. The track appears on the electronic duo’s album, “No More Idols.”

Rita Ora confirms new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’

Rita Ora has confirmed the title for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “I Will Never Let You Down” as the lead single from her upcoming sophomore album.

The still-untitled project – which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “ORA,” is expected to be released later this year via Roc Nation / Columbia Records.

“Let You Down” was produced by Calvin Harris, whose credits include “We Found Love” by Rihanna [Island Records], “Too Much” by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records] and “Call My Name” by Cheryl Cole [Polydor Records].

For the highly-anticipated new LP, the “Shine Ya Light” star also enlisted David “Switch” Taylor (Beyonce, Alex Clare ), Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Melanie Fiona, Demi Lovato) and Thomas “Diplo” Pentz (Usher, Katy Perry).

Chase & Status confirm “Brand New Machine” tracklisting

Chase & Status have confirmed the tracklisting for their upcoming studio album.

The songwriting and production duo – consisting of members Saul “Chase” Milton and Will “Status” Kennard – will release “Brand New Machine” on 7 October via Universal Music Group / Mercury Records.

New single “Count on Me” – which features newcomer Moko – will be available for download on September 27 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Meanwhile, the new collection serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “No More Idols.” That release debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles including “Let You Go” and “End Credits.”

Among the artists Chase & Status have collaborated with are Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings], Rita Ora [Columbia Records], Delilah [Atlantic Records], Cee Lo Green [Elektra Records] and Maverick Sabre [Mercury Records].

“Count on Me” – which features vocals from newcomer Moko – is taken from the British production duo’s upcoming third album, “Brand New Machine,” out on October 7 via Universal Music Group / Roc Nation / Mercury Records.

The track serves as the follow-up to previous single “Lost & Not Found,” which peaked at number nine on the UK Singles Chart.

Shy FX has debuted the music video for his new single online.
“Soon Come” – which features Liam Bailey – is lifted from the British producer’s upcoming album, “Larger Than Life,” out soon via Digital Soundboy.

The Drum & Bass hitmaker – real name Andre Williams – has previously teamed up the likes of Ms. Dynamite [Relentless Records], Dizzee Rascal [Island Records] and Daniel “DJ Fresh” Stein [Ministry of Sound].

Australian singer/songwriter Kylie Minogue has collaborated with super producer Timbaland for her upcoming twelfth studio album, scheduled to be released later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

Recent credits by the legendary hitmaker – real name Timothy Mosley – include “Grown Woman” by Beyonce [Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “Tunnel Vision” by Justin Timberlake [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Priyanka Chopra [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records], Kat Dahlia [Vested in Culture / Epic Records], Nikki Williams [Chameleon Entertainment / Island Def Jam Recordings] and Keri Hilson [Mosley Music Group / Interscope Records].

Australian singer/songwriter Kylie Minogue has reunited with Jim Eliot for her upcoming studio album, which serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Aphrodite.”

The pair previously teamed up on singles “2 Hearts” and “All the Lovers,” as well as the Richard “Biff” Stannard-assisted “You Make Me Feel” by Kish Mauve.

Eliot is also known for collaborating with artists such as Ladyhawke [Universal Music Group / Modular Records], Olly Murs [Sony Music Group / Epic Records], Ellie Goulding [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records] and Will Young [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

The hitmaker – also known as Madame Buttons – is responsible for helming tracks including “How We Do (Party)” by Rita Ora [Roc Nation / Columbia Records], “Unlove Me” by Leona Lewis [Simco Limited / Sony Music Entertainment] and “Young Forever” by Nicki Minaj [Republic Records].
