Beyonce unleashes new album “The Lion King: The Gift”

Beyonce has released her new project online.

“The Lion King: The Gift” – which was inspired by Disney’s new version of the classic film – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Curated and produced by Beyonce, the highly-anticipated collection features guest appearances from Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Jessie Reyez, and Blue Ivy Carter.

Among the musicians who contributed to the album are Labrinth, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Raye, Ari PenSmith, P2J, Stacy Barthe, Diplo, Sounwave, Akil King, Starrah, Biopolar Sunshine, Kaydence, Nija Charles, and Nova Wav.

Lion Babe have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The experimental soul duo posted the Camila Falquez-directed clip for “Jungle Lady” to their official Vevo page on Monday (December 15, 2014).

“Jungle Lady” – written by group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Joshua Tidla – is lifted from Lion Babe’s self-titled EP, now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The track follows previous promotional cut, the Childish Gambino-featuring / Makeba Riddick-assisted “Jump Hi.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lion Babe’s full-length debut album will be released next year via Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Def Jam Recordings (US).

The still-untitled LP will boast contributions from David Andrew Sitek (Tinashe, Kelis), Pharrell Williams (Ciara, Britney Spears), Andrew Wyatt (Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira) and Jeff Bhasker (Beyonce, Alicia Keys).

Lion Babe have debuted a new song online.

The experimental soul duo posted the audio clip for “Jungle Lady” to their official Vevo page on Friday (December 05, 2014).

“Jungle Lady” – written by group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Joshua Tidla – is now available for download via iTunes.

The track follows previous promotional cut, the Childish Gambino-featuring / Makeba Riddick-assisted “Jump Hi.”

As previously reported, Lion Babe will release their EP on December 15 via Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music and Polydor Records.

The self-titled project precedes the duo’s full-length debut album, which is scheduled to hit shelves and digital outlets next year.

Among the musicians backing Lion Babe on the highly-anticipated LP are Pharrell Williams (Usher, Toni Braxton), Jeff Bhasker (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Andrew Wyatt (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX) and Dave Sitek (Tinashe, Kelis).

Lion Babe have released the music video for their new single online.

The pop duo posted the visual clip for “Jump Hi” – featuring Childish Gambino – to their official Vevo page on Wednesday (November 12, 2014).

“Jump Hi” was co-written by group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Makeba Riddick, whose more recent credits include “Stay Awake” by Ellie Goulding [Polydor] and “Love and War” by Tamar Braxton [Epic].

The track is lifted from the band’s upcoming mini-album, “Lion Babe,” out on December 15 via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music Limited and Polydor Records.

Ariana Grande unwraps tracklisting for new album “My Everything”

My Everything

Ariana Grande has unwrapped the official tracklisting for her sophomore album.

The pop singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “My Everything” on August 25 via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Lead single “Problem” – written by Savan Kotecha along with Max Martin and Ilya “Knocdown” Salmanzadeh – is now available for download via iTunes.

Other album songwriters include Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Ella Henderson, Sevyn Streeter), Al Sherrod Lambert (Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams) and Ammar Malik (James Blunt, Mikky Ekko).

On the production front, Grande has teamed up with Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Ellie Goulding), Benny Blanco (Pia Mia, Jessie Ware), Rodney Jerkins (Brandy, Trey Songz), Harmony Samuels (Teyana Taylor, LeToya Luckett), Warren Felder (Usher, Chris Brown) and Andrew Wansel (Elle Varner, Nicki Minaj).

Jhené Aiko has unleashed the music video for her new single.

“The Worst” is taken from the singer/songwriter’s latest EP, “Sail Out,” which is now available via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

The track was helmed by regular collaborators Brian Warfield and Mac Robinson of songwriting and production team Fisticuffs.

For “Sail Out,” Aiko has also enlisted rappers including Childish Gambino (“Bed Peace”) and Kendrick Lamar (“Stay Ready”).

Her highly-anticipated debut album “Souled Out” will be released some time in 2014. Ernest “No I.D.” Wilson serves as the project’s executive producer.

Jhené Aiko has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Bed Peace” – which features Childish Gambino – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming extended play, “Sail Out,” out on November 12 via Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings.

The track was produced by regular collaborators Mac Robinson and Brian Warfield of Fisticuffs, who previously teamed up with artists including Jazmine Sullivan (“One Night Stand”) and Miguel (“All I Want is You”).

Aiko’s upcoming debut album “Souled Out” will be executively produced by Ernest “No I.D.” Wilson, whose recent credits include “No Love Allowed” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings], “Better” by Chrisette Michele [Motown Records] and “This Time” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

She has also collaborated with rappers including Drake [Young Money / Republic Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records], Kendrick Lamar [Aftermath / Interscope Records] and Big Sean [G.O.O.D. Music / Def Jam Recordings].
