Ella Eyre schedules release date for debut album “Feline”

Ella Eyre has scheduled the release date for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter – born Ella McMahon – will release “Feline” on August 14 under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Together” was produced by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for Lily Allen’s “Smile” [Parlophone], Little Mix’s “How Ya Doin?” [Syco] and Stooshe’s “Black Heart” [Warner Bros].

The keenly-awaited CD also includes previous singles “Deeper” (produced by Two Inch Punch), “If I Go” (co-written by Natalia Hajjara), “Comeback” (produced by Ilya KnocDown) and “Gravity” (co-written by The Invisible Men).

Other album contributors are Starsmith (Cheryl, Ellie Goulding), Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs, Rebecca Ferguson), Mark Taylor (Cher, Kylie Minogue), Paul O’Duffy (Gabrielle, Andreya Triana) and Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Rita Ora).

Karen Harding collaborates with Chris Loco for debut album

British singer/songwriter Karen Harding has added Chris Loco to the list of contributors for her upcoming debut album.

Recent production credits by Loco include Professor Green’s “Lullaby” f/ Tori Kelly [Virgin EMI], Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger Than Ever” [Columbia] and Kylie Minogue’s “Fine” [Parlophone].

He also contributed to the next projects by Emeli Sande [Capitol], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI], Raye [Polydor], Becky Hill [Parlophone], Melissa Steel [Atlantic], Ella Eyre [Virgin EMI] and Kwabs [Atlantic].

Meanwhile, Harding’s first studio collection is expected to be released later this year under Method Records in partnership with Capitol Records.

The album’s lead single, “Say Something,” peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart. The track was co-written and produced by MNEK.

Other producers backing Harding on her debut CD are Richard Stannard (Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Celine Dion), Rodney Jerkins (Ciara, Janet Jackson) and Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Alicia Keys).

Melissa Steel recruits Knox Brown for debut album

Melissa Steel has recruited Knox Brown for her upcoming debut album.

Brown is known for producing and co-writing “Whole Damn Year” for Mary J. Blige along with Emeli Sande. The track appears on Blige’s latest album, “The London Sessions,” now available for download via iTunes.

His songwriting and production resume includes additional works for Jess Glynne [Atlantic Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI], Joel Compass [Polydor], Aloe Blacc [Interscope] and Beyonce [Columbia].

Meanwhile, Steel’s first studio collection is expected to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Kisses for Breakfast” was co-written by Lea-Anna Gallimore and produced by Derryck “Wundah” Cyrus. Commercial performance-wise, the track peaked to number ten on the UK Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Steel on her debut album are Bless Beats, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, MNEK, Tre Jean-Marie, Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis, Carmen Reece, Harmony Samuels, Jessica Agombar, and Chris Loco.

Espa teams with Chris Loco for new single “Orbit”

Espa has debuted her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Orbit” to her official SoundCloud channel on Wednesday (May 06, 2015).

Production duties on “Orbit” were handled by Chris Loco, whose other credits include Professor Green’s “Lullaby” f/ Tori Kelly [Virgin EMI Records] and Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger Than Ever” [Columbia Records].

The track is slotted from inclusion on Espa’s upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released later this year.

The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Alien” – featuring Avelino – to her official SoundCloud channel on Tuesday (April 28, 2015).

Production duties on “Alien” were handled by Chris Loco, whose other credits include Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger Than Ever” [Columbia], Kylie Minogue’s “Fine” [Parlophone] and Professor Green’s “Lullaby” f/ Tori Kelly [Virgin EMI].

Raye’s debut project is expected to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, Raye co-penned Blonde’s new single “All Cried Out” along with group members Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield. The Lucas Secon-assisted / Alex Newell-featuring track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Parlophone Records.

Sinead Harnett premieres music video for new single “She Ain’t Me”

Sinead Harnett has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “She Ain’t Me” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (April 28, 2015).

“She Ain’t Me” was co-written by Iain James, whose other credits include Craig David’s “Officially Yours” [Asylum Records], Olly Murs’ “Hand on Heart” [Epic Records] and Leona Lewis’ “One More Sleep” [Syco Music].

Production duties were handled by TMS, who are also responsible for Little Mix’s “Wings” [Syco Music], Sigma’s “Changing” f/ Paloma Faith [3 Beat Records] and The Vamps’ “Last Night” [Virgin EMI Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harnett’s debut album is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project and follow-up to 2014’s EP “N.O.W.” features additional productions and songwriting contributions from Chris Loco, James Fauntleroy, Two Inch Punch, Knox Brown, and Mojam.

Elijah Blake announces new album “Shadows & Diamonds”

Elijah Blake has announced the details for his debut album.

The singer/songwriter christened his first studio collection “Shadows & Diamonds” and will release it on June 23 under Def Jam Recordings.

Lead single “I Just Wanna” – which was written by Blake along with Andrew Swanson, Colby Zinser, Lyrica Anderson, Floyd Bentley and Anthony William – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“Shadows & Diamonds” serves as the follow-up to 2014’s EP “Drift,” which featured singles “6,” “Fallen” and “Strange Fruit.” That collection also boasted collaborations with James Poyser, Tiago Carvalho, and No I.D.

For the new album, Blake – real name Sean Fenton – has reportedly teamed with Happy Perez (Mariah Carey, Frank Ocean), Two Inch Punch (Jessie Ware, Sam Smith) and Chris Loco (Sinead Harnett, Ella Eyre).
