Christina Aguilera releases new album “Liberation”

Christina Aguilera has released her eighth studio collection online.

“Liberation” – featuring promotional singles “Accelerate,” “Fall in Line,” “Twice” and “Like I Do” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” boasts productions from Kanye West, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Hudson Mohawke, Kosine, Noah Goldstein, Charlie Heat, Dumbfounded, Anderson Paak, MNEK, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, Neenyo, Sango, Jon Bellion, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Tim Anderson, and Ricky Reed.

On the songwriting front, Aguilera has worked with Ilsey Juber, Teddy Geiger, Kirby Lauryen, Erik Hassle, Bibi Bourelly, LunchMoney Lewis, Tayla Parx, Justin Tranter, Whitney Phillips, Audra Mae, and Julia Michaels.

Christina Aguilera has dropped her new promotional single online.

“Like I Do” – which was co-written by Tayla Parx and Whitney Phillips and collectively produced by Dumbfounded and Anderson Paak – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album “Liberation” – featuring previous singles “Accelerate,” “Twice” and “Fall in Line” – will arrive on June 15th via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” delivers additional contributions from Kanye West, Ilsey Juber, MNEK, Julia Michaels, Mike Dean, Kirby Lauryen, Jon Bellion, Audra Mae, Erik Hassle, Teddy Geiger, and Ricky Reed.

Christina Aguilera unwraps artwork, tracklisting, release date for new album

Christina Aguilera has unveiled the details for her upcoming album.

The American singer/songwriter christened her eighth studio collection “Liberation” and will release it on June 15 via RCA Records.

Lead single “Accelerate” – featuring 2 Chainz and Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Kanye West alongside Mike Dean (Grace Carter, Sky Ferreira) and Che Pope (Eminem, The Weeknd), “Accelerate” was also co-written by Tayla Parx (Chris Brown, Janelle Monae), Ilsey Juber (Yebba, Lykke Li), Bibi Bourelly (Rihanna, Selena Gomez) and Kirby Lauryen (Beyonce, Demi Lovato).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Ricky Reed, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Audra Mae, Erik Hassle, Jon Bellion, LunchMoney Lewis, and Teddy Geiger.

Christina Aguilera unleashes “Telepathy” music video

Christina Aguilera has unleashed a new promotional video online.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Telepathy” – featuring Nile Rodgers – to her YouTube channel on Sunday (October 30, 2016).

The track – which was produced by Elliot Wheeler and Baz Luhrmann – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Telepathy” was also written by Sia (Beyonce, Alicia Keys) alongside Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate (Usher, Charli XCX).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Aguilera is expected to release her eighth studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus,” which peaked to number seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Your Body” and “Just a Fool.”

Christina Aguilera reunites with Linda Perry for new album

Christina Aguilera has reunited with Linda Perry for her upcoming album.

The pair previously teamed up on “Beautiful,” “Candyman,” “Save Me from Myself,” “Lift Me Up” and the Mark Ronson-assisted “Hurt,” taken from the albums “Stripped,” “Back to Basics” and “Bionic,” respectively.

Perry is also known for producing and writing songs with Pink (“Get the Party Started”), Alicia Keys (“Pray for Forgiveness”), Miley Cyrus (“Hands of Love”), Britney Spears (“Girls & Boys”) and Goapele (“Darker Side of the Moon”).

Meanwhile, Aguilera is scheduled to release her forthcoming studio collection and follow-up to 2013’s “Lotus” next year through RCA Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly features further contributions from Pharrell Williams (Justin Timberlake), Da Internz (John Legend), Ian Kirkpatrick (Nick Jonas) and David Hodges (Colbie Caillat).

Christina Aguilera collaborates with Ian Kirkpatrick for new album

Christina Aguilera has added Ian Kirkpatrick to the list of contributors for her upcoming studio album.

Kirkpatrick is known for producing and co-writing Jason Derulo’s latest single “Want to Want Me” along with Lindy Robbins, Sam Martin and Mitch Allan. The track peaked to number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

His resume includes additional works with Nick Jonas [Island Records], Avery Wilson [RCA Records], One Direction [Syco Music / Columbia Records] and Hilary Duff [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Aguilera is expected to release her next album later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Adam Lambert signs new deal with Warner Bros. Records

Singer/songwriter Adam Lambert has signed a new record deal with Warner Bros. Records and will release his third album later this year.

The Warner Music Group imprint is also home to artists including Cher, Bette Midler, Eric Clapton, Flaming Lips, Green Day, Josh Groban, Lily Allen, Michael Buble, Regina Spektor, Bebe Rexha, and Nico & Vinz.

Production on Lambert’s new album is headed by hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback, who previously teamed with Lambert on singles “If I Had You” and the Pink-assisted “Whataya Want from Me.”

The Swedish songwriting and production duo have also worked with Taylor Swift (“Blank Space”), Ariana Grande (“Problem”), Christina Aguilera (“Your Body”), Usher (“Scream”) and Britney Spears (“I Wanna Go”).

Lambert’s last studio collection, 2012’s “Trespassing,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned promotional cuts “Better Than I Know My Self” and “Never Close Our Eyes.”

Christina Aguilera has worked with Da Internz for her upcoming album.

The R&B and Hip Hop duo – consisting of members Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark – recently produced “Anaconda” for Nicki Minaj. The track peaked to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Their resume also includes works for Jazmine Sullivan (“Stanley”), Anthony Lewis (“It’s Not My Fault”), Sevyn Streeter (“Sex on the Ceiling”), Rihanna (“Birthday Cake”), Tank (“If That’s What It Takes”) and Usher (“Clueless”).

Meanwhile, Aguilera is expected to release her next studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus,” which debuted at number seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Max Martin, Savan Kotecha grace debut album by Tori Kelly

Tori Kelly has teamed with Savan Kotecha and Max Martin for her debut album.

The songwriting and production duo are responsible Jessie J’s “Bang Bang” with Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Jennifer Lopez’s “First Love” [Capitol Records] and Christina Aguilera’s “Your Body” [RCA Records].

Martin and Kotecha also worked with Britney Spears (“I Wanna Go”), Justin Bieber (“Beauty and a Beat”), Usher (“Scream”), Leona Lewis (“Out of My Head”), Cher Lloyd (“With Ur Love”) and Cassadee Pope (“Easier to Lie”).

As mentioned in previous posts, Kelly will release her highly-anticipated debut album in early 2015 via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project is executive-produced by Scooter Braun, who’s also overseeing the careers of Ariana Grande [Republic Records], Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records] and Madison Beer [Island Records].

Other album contributors include Rodney Jerkins (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, CeeLo Green), Oren Yoel (Miley Cyrus, Stacy Barthe), Ed Sheeran (Jessie Ware, Hilary Duff) and Pharrell (Beyonce, Gwen Stefani).

In related news, Kelly recently provided guest vocals for Professor Green’s hit single “Lullaby” [Virgin EMI Records]. The Ina Wroldsen-assisted / Chris Loco-produced track peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Christina Aguilera drafts David Hodges for new album?

Christina Aguilera has registered a new song title with ASCAP – The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

“Waves” was written by Maggie Chapman and Meghan Kabir along with David Hodges, whose credits include Colbie Caillat (“Never Getting Over You”), Lea Michele (“Empty Handed”) and Christina Perri (“The Words”).

The track is expected to appear on Aguilera’s highly-anticipated eighth album, which will be released next year via RCA Records.

Her last studio collection, 2012’s “Lotus,” debuted at number seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered international hit single “Your Body.”
