Marty James has teased a new collaboration with Christina Milian.
“Shoutout @christinamilian and the crew! @markjfeist @bigbillyclark,” the American singer/songwriter posted to his Instagram profile.
James recently co-wrote Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despasito Remix” (featuring Justin Bieber) alongside Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart for 16 weeks.
His songwriting resume boasts additional works with Enrique Iglesias (“Heart Attack”), Jay Sean (“Make My Love Go”), Pixie Lott (“Dancing On My Own”), Fantasia Barrino (“In Deep”), Iyaz (“Pretty Girls”), RedOne (“Don’t You Need Somebody”) and Cover Drive (“Lick Ya Down”).
James has also worked with fellow songwriters and producers including Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Kara DioGuardi, Happy Perez, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Jesse Shatkin, Fransisca Hall, Harmony Samuels, Livvi Franc, Printz Board, Rosina Russell, M-Phazes, Stephenie Jones, and Ross Golan.
Milian, on the other hand, released her last studio collection “So Amazin'” in 2006 via Def Jam Recordings. That collection – featuring the Jazmine Sullivan-penned/Cool & Dre-produced lead single “Say I” – peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
Her current mini-album “4U” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
