Johnta Austin premieres music video for new single “Love Angel”

Johnta Austin has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the Derek Blanks-directed clip for “Love Angel” to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (February 18, 2020).

Production duties on “Love Angel” were collectively handled by by Troy Taylor (Brian McKnight, Trey Songz) and Jerren “J-Kits” Spruill (Tank, K. Michelle).

Austin’s debut album “Love, Sex & Religion” features additional contributions from Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Trey Songz, Drumma Boy, Harmony Samuels, Dondria Nicole, Xeryus Gittens, and Troy Oliver.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Austin recently recorded new music for Ella Mai’s next project alongside production team Organized Noize (aka Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown).

His previous songwriting credits include Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together,” Toni Braxton’s “Just Be a Man About It,” Aaliyah’s “Miss You,” Mary J. Blige’s “Be Without You,” Janet Jackson’s “Call on Me,” Fantasia’s “Hood Boy,” Jessica Simpson’s “A Public Affair,” and Melanie Fiona’s “This Time.”

American singer/songwriter Kimberly Pate (known professionally as K. Michelle) has released her new studio album online.

“All Monsters Are Human” – featuring singles “Supa Hood” and “The Rain” – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The follow-up to 2017’s “Kimberly: The People I Used to Know” boasts contributions from Troy Taylor, Jazze Pha, Ronnie Jackson, Brandon Hodge, Uforo Ebong, Drumma Boy, Sean Momberger, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Jeremiah “Sickpen” Bethea, Damon Thomas, Sha Sha Jones, and Ayo & Keyz.

K. Michelle has announced the details for her upcoming album.

The American singer/songwriter (born Kimberly Pate) dubbed her fifth studio collection “All Monsters Are Human” and will release it on 31 January via Entertainment One Music / No Color No Sound Records.

Current promotional single “The Rain” – which samples New Edition’s 1988 hit single “Can You Stand the Rain” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2017’s “Kimberly: The People I Used to Know” also features contributions from Troy Taylor, Jazze Pha, Ronnie Jackson, Uforo Ebong, Darhyl “DJ” Camper,  Rico Love, Chad “C-Note” Roper , Drumma Boy, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, and Louis York (aka Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony).

Sevyn Streeter schedules release date for debut album “Girl Disrupted”

American singer/songwriter Amber Streeter, professionally known as Sevyn Streeter, is scheduled to release her debut album “Girl Disrupted” on July 7 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current promotional single “Fallen” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly delivers further alliances with Shondrae “Bangaldesh” Crawford (Kesha, Teyana Taylor), Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland), Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Usher, Mary J. Blige) and Christopher “Drumma Boy” Gholson (Goapele, Chris Brown).

Streeter’s songwriting credits, on the other hand, include K. Sevyn Streeter has scheduled the release date for her debut album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Amber Streeter – will release “Girl Disrupted” on January 27, 2017 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current single “Before I Do” will be available from December 2 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other tracks slotted for inclusion “Girl Disrupted” are “D4L” (featuring The-Dream), “My Love for You” and “Prolly” (featuring Gucci Mane).

The highly anticipated project also boasts contributions from Tricky Stewart, Sean Garrett, Charlie Heat, J-Doe, Micah Powell, Drumma Boy, Mr. Bangladesh, Damon Thomas, and Cameron Wallace.

On the songwriting front, Streeter recently co-wrote “Coming Home” for Tamar Braxton alongside Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Dewain Whitmore and The Underdogs (Harvey Mason Jr. and Damon Thomas).

Sevyn Streeter has announced the details for her new single.

The singer-songwriter christened “Before I Do” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album “Girl Disrupted” and will release it on December 2 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Before I Do” serves as the follow-up to previous promotional singles “D4L” (featuring The-Dream), “My Love for You” (co-written by Damon Thomas) and “Prolly” (produced by Charlie Heat).

Other musicians reportedly backing Streeter on “Girl Disrupted” are Tricky Stewart (Bruno Mars), Sean Garrett (Chris Brown), Drumma Boy (Goapele), Bangladesh (Kelly Rowland) and Cameron Wallace (Beyonce).
