Usher, Nicki Minaj premiere music video for “She Came to Give it to You”

Usher has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “She Came to Give it to You” to his official YouTube page on Tuesday (August 26, 2014).

The Nicki Minaj-assisted / Pharrell Williams-produced track is lifted from the R&B crooner’s upcoming eighth studio album on RCA Records.

Video treatment for “She Came to Give it to You” was handled by Philip Andelman, who is also responsible for Dominique Young’s “Throw it Down” and Taylor Swift’s “Everything Has Changed” f/ Ed Sheeran.

Usher’s highly-anticipated new studio collection serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Looking 4 Myself,” which debuted at number one on the US Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Climax,” “Scream” and “Lemme See.”

The still-untitled project will boast further contributions from Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey), Da Internz (Trey Songz, Marsha Ambrosius), Tha Bizness (Estelle, Kevin McCall) and Diplo (Chris Brown, Sevyn Streeter).

Usher has reunited with Pharrell Williams on new material for his upcoming eighth studio album, out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The pair previously collaborated on tracks including “U Don’t Have to Call” [taken from 2001’s “8701”], “Sweet Lies” [taken from 2004’s “Confessions”] and “Twisted” [taken from 2012’s “Looking 4 Myself”].

Recent credits by the super producer include Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” [Interscope Records], Daley’s “Look Up” [Polydor Records], “Aim High” by John Legend [Columbia Records] and Jay-Z’s “BBC” [Roc Nation Records].

He also worked on the next albums by Beyonce [Columbia Records], Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records], Jennifer Hudson [RCA Records], Azealia Banks [Interscope Records] and Justin Bieber [Island Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, the new collection by the “Climax” star is confirmed to yield further productions from Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark (Rihanna, Tamar Braxton), Jermaine Dupri (Chante Moore, Alicia Keys) and Tha Bizness: Christopher Whitacre & Justin Henderson (Trey Songz, Elle Varner).

Usher has tapped the production services of Tha Bizness for his upcoming studio album, which serves as the follow-up 2012’s “Looking 4 Myself.”

The R&B and hip hop duo – consisting of members Christopher Whitacre and Justin Henderson – are known for helming singles “No Bullshit” by Chris Brown and “Wildest Dreams” by Brandy.

They have also collaborated with the likes of Trey Songz [Atlantic Records], Kendrick Lamar [Interscope Records], Elle Varner [RCA Records], Tank [Atlantic Records] and Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, the still-untitled collection by Usher is confirmed to yield further alliances with Da Internz: Marcos “Kosine” Palacios & Ernest “Tuo” Clark (Ciara, Jordin Sparks), Eric Bellinger (Fantasia Barrino, Christina Milian) and Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Janet Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger).

Elle Varner has tapped Angela Hunte and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis for her upcoming sophomore album, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect” [Sony Music Entertainment / MBK Entertainment / RCA Records].

Hunte is responsible for co-writing “One on One Fun” by Tamar Braxton [Epic Records], “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z featuring Alicia Keys [Atlantic Records] and “Torn Apart” by Snoop Lion featuring Rita Ora [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, recent production credits by Duplessis include “Do You” by Miguel [RCA Records], “Don’t Mind” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records] and “Better Be Good” by RaVaughn featuring Wale [Columbia Records].

In addition to Hunte and Duplessis, the “Refill” star has also collaborated with the likes Da Internz: Marcos Palacios & Ernest Clark / Warren “Oak” Felder / Andrew “Pop” Wansel / Ronald “Flip” Colson / Steve “Ace” Mostyn / Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis / and Tha Bizness: Justin Henderson & Christopher Whitacre.

Kevin McCall unveils official artwork, tracklist for new mini-album ‘Definition’

CBE recording artist Kevin “K-Mac” McCall has unveiled the official artwork and tracklist for his upcoming mini-album, “Definition,” which will be available for download tomorrow on Valentine’s Day.

The project – which serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “The EargaZm” – boasts productions from Tha Bizness: Justin Henderson & Christopher Whitacre (Sevyn Streeter, Brandy Norwood), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez) and Dernst “D’Mile” Emile (Wynter Gordon, Janet Jackson).

As a songwriter and producer, McCall has previously crafted hits including “Next Breath” by Tank [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records], “My Girl” by Mindless Behavior [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records] and “Christmas Eve” by Justin Bieber [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings].

He is also working on his highly-anticipated debut album. The release date is TBD, but among the musicians K-Mac has recently collaborated with are Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis (Keyshia Cole, Mary J. Blige) and Michael “Mike WiLL Made It” Williams (Kelly Rowland, Ciara Harris).

Recent songwriting credits by Barthe include “When It’s All Over” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Speak Ya Mind” by Estelle [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records] and “Like I Love You” by Melanie Fiona [Universal Music Group / Republic Records].

“Wildest Dreams” marks the second single from the R&B artist’s sixth album, “Two Eleven,” which is available now via Sony Music Entertainment / Chameleon Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to “Put it Down” was co-written by Sean “The Pen” Garrett, whose credits include “Massive Attack” by Nicki Minaj [Universal Music Group / Cash Money / Universal Republic Records], “She Don’t Know” by Usher featuring Ludacris [Sony Music Entertainment / Jive Records] and “Ice” by Kelly Rowland featuring Lil Wayne [Universal Music Group / Motown Records].
