Trey Songz liberates new album “Tremaine”

Trey Songz has liberated his new album online.

“Tremaine” – featuring singles “Animal,” “She Lovin’ It,” “Nobody Else But You,” “Song Goes Off” and “Playboy” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the songwriters backing Songz – real name Tremaine Neverson – on the follow-up to 2014’s “Trigga” are Ester Dean (David Guetta), Prince Charlez (Mary J. Blige), Jason Boyd (Sam Smith), Nate Cyphert (Florida Georgia Line), Jacob Kasher (Charlie Puth), Micah Powell (Omarion) and Rock City (Nicki Minaj).

On the production front, Songz has reunited with Troy Taylor (Keyshia Cole), Rico Love (Usher) and Christopher “C4” Umana (Kelly Rowland).

Other album producers include The Audibles (Mike Posner), Dwayne Nesmith (Keri Hilson), Cook Classics (Jamie Foxx), Sermstyle (Fleur East), Pip Kembo (Sean Paul), JMIKE (Kehlani), CIRKUT (The Weeknd), Ryan Ogren (Jake Miller), Cardiak (DJ Khaled) and Sons of Sonix (Tanika Bailey).

Trey Songz unwraps tracklisting for new album “Tremaine”

American R&B singer/songwriter Trey Songz has unwrapped the tracklisting for his seventh album, “Tremaine,” out on March 24 via Atlantic Records.

Current single “Animal” – which was collectively produced by Henry “Cirkut” Walter and Jeremy “JMike” Coleman – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2014’s “Trigga,” Songz has reunited with Troy Taylor (Tank), Rico Love (Usher) and Christopher “C4” Umana (Teyana Taylor).

The highly-anticipated album delivers additional alliances with Ester Dean (Rihanna), Breyan Isaac (Charlie Puth), Sermstyle (Sean Paul), Prince Charlez (Mary J. Blige), Jason Boyd (Sam Smith), Cook Classics (Kehlani), Pip Kembo (Dua Lipa), Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman (J. Cole), Frank “Nitty” Brim (Kevin Gates), Johnny Yukon (Gnash) and Alex Isaac (Paris Jones).

Charlie Puth reunites with Ross Golan, Johan Carlsson for new album

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Charlie Puth has reunited with Ross Golan and Johan Carlsson for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo previously teamed with Puth on “Then There’s You,” taken from the artist’s debut album, 2016’s “Nine Track Mind.”

Other notable credits by Golan and Carlsson include Colbie Caillat’s “Live it Up,” Little Mix’s “You Gotta Not,” Jason Derulo’s “Painkiller,” Meghan Trainor’s “Hopeless Romantic,” Gavin DeGraw’s “Fire,” Michael Buble’s “Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” One Direction’s “If I Could Fly,” Flo Rida’s “My House,” and Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman.”

Meanwhile, Puth is expected to release his sophomore studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to “One Track Mind” reportedly delivers productions from Pharrell Williams (Nelly Furtado), Toby Gad (Madonna), Jason Evigan (Fifth Harmony), Cirkut (The Weeknd), Rami Yacoub (Enrique Iglesias), John Henry Ryan (John Legend) and Ammo (Beyonce).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the highly-anticipated project are Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Alicia Keys), Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Bebe Rexha), Ammar Malik (Ed Sheeran), Alexander “Eskeerdo” Izquierdo (Rihanna), Ilsey Juber (Noah Cyrus) and Sean Douglas (Chromeo).

Charlie Puth has recorded new music with Rami Yacoub.

The Swedish music producer and songwriter is known for his works with Nicki Minaj (“Starships”), Ariana Grande (“One Last Time”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Don’t Hold Your Breath”) and Labrinth (“Treatment”).

Yacoub’s credits also include DNCE’s “Body Moves,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Your Type,” Demi Lovato’s “Stars,” The Vamps’ “Rest Your Love,” Madonna’s “Addicted,” and The Fray’s “Break Your Plans.”

Katy Perry teams with Skip Marley for new single “Chained to the Rhythm”

Katy Perry has delivered her new single online.

“Chained to the Rhythm” – featuring guest vocals from Bob Marley’s grandson Skip Marley – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Australian singer/songwriter Sia Furler, who previously teamed up with Perry on the Greg Kurstin-produced “Double Rainbow” and Britney Spears’ “Passenger.”

Production duties on “Chained to the Rhythm” were collectively handled by Swedish hitmakers Max Martin (Colbie Caillat, Harry Styles) and Ali Payami (Ariana Grande, The Weeknd).

Perry’s fourth studio collection, on the other hand, is scheduled to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Prism” reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Greg Wells, Sarah Hudson, Ryan Tedder, Ferras Alqaisi, Cirkut, Savan Kotecha, BloodPop, and Shellback.

Ciara signs new deal with Warner Brothers Records

Ciara has inked a new deal with Warner Brothers Records.

The Warner Music Group imprint also houses artists including Jason Derulo, Adam Lambert, Bebe Rexha, Jake Miller, Andra Day, Lianne La Havas, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Idina Menzel, Damon Albarn, and GRADES.

Ciara’s last studio collection under Epic Records, 2015’s “Jackie,” peaked to number seventeen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “I Bet” and “Dance Like We’re Making Love.”

That album also delivered contributions from Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Ester Dean, Rock City, LunchMoney Lewis, Harmony Samuels, Edgar “JV” Etienne, Jacob Kasher, Chloe Angelides, Livvi Franc, Ali Tamposi, and Diane Warren.
