Ne-Yo releases new album “Non-Fiction”

Ne-Yo has released his new album online.

“Non-Fiction” – featuring hit singles “Money Can’t Buy,” “She Don’t Know” and “Coming with You” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Compound Entertainment and Motown Records.

The keenly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “R.E.D.,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Among the musicians backing Ne-Yo on “Non-Fiction” are Shea Taylor, Jesse “Corparal” Wilson, Stephan Moccio, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Stargate, Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Key Wane, David Guetta and Giorgio Tuinfort.

On the songwriting front, the “So Sick” star confirmed placements on the next albums by Rihanna [Roc Nation], Keri Hilson [Interscope Records], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records] and Gabi Wilson [RCA Records].

Ne-Yo has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The R&B singer, songwriter and record producer posted the Emil Nava-directed clip for “She Knows” to his Vevo page on Wednesday (October 08, 2014).

“She Knows” – featuring Juicy J – was produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, who are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N’ Potions” [Republic], Becky G’s “Shower” [Kemosabe] and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” [RCA].

As previously reported, Ne-Yo’s next studio collection “Non Fiction” will hit stores on November 11 via Compound Entertainment / Motown Records.

The new LP serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “R.E.D.,” which peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Lazy Love,” “Forever Now” and “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself).”

Ne-Yo has recently collaborated with Sevyn Streeter on new material.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for a future Ne-Yo release or Streeter’s debut album.

Ne-Yo is putting the final touches on his next studio collection “Non Fiction,” which will hit stores by November 11 via Motown Records.

Current single “She Knows” – produced by Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Henry “Cirkut” Walter – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

Streeter, meanwhile, is prepping for the release of her highly-anticipated debut album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts productions from Pop & Oak (Brandy, Jessie J), Hit-Boy (Ciara, Frank Ocean), Count Justice (Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa), Da Internz (Tamia, Jamie Foxx) and Babyface (Madonna, Toni Braxton).

Sevyn’s first mini-album, 2013’s “Call Me Crazy, But…,” peaked at number seven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles “It Won’t Stop,” “nEXt,” “Sex on the Ceiling” and “B.A.N.S.”

The pair previously teamed up on hit singles “Unfaithful,” “Hate That I Love You,” “Russian Roulette” and “Right Now.”

The R&B singer, songwriter and record producer – born Shaffer Smith – also contributed to the next projects by Gabi Wilson [RCA Records], RaVaughn [Columbia Records] and Keri Hilson [Interscope Records].

His upcoming sixth studio album “Non Fiction” will hit stores and digital outlets on November 11 via Compound Entertainment / Motown Records.
