Craig David teams up with Tre Jean-Marie, White N3rd for new song “Off My Mind”

A new song title has been revealed from Craig David’s upcoming album.

“Off My Mind” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2010’s “Signed Sealed Delivered.”

David wrote “Off My Mind” with Tre Jean-Marie (Maverick Sabre, Jacob Banks) and Scott “White N3rd” Wild (M.O, Talay Riley).

Other musicians backing David on the keenly-awaited LP – tentatively entitled “Following My Intuition” – are Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins, Alan Sampson, Ed Drewett, Komi Hakam, Carmen Reece, Jim Duguid, and Ali Tennant.

Furthermore, the “Fill Me In” star has been in the studio with London-based DJ Sigala and deep house duo Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield of Blonde. It is yet to be known whether their sessions were intended for David’s LP.

As a songwriter, David co-wrote “Talking About” for fellow UK artist Conor Maynard along with Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam. The track is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Craig David taps Carmen Reece, Alan Sampson for new album

Craig David has tapped the songwriting and production services of Carmen Reece and Alan Sampson for his upcoming album.

“Beautiful day in London, feeling inspired. On my way to record with the super talented @carmenreecey and @alansampson,” the British singer/songwriter posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday (September 07, 2015).

Sampson is known for co-writing and producing Jay Sean’s “Ride It” [Cash Money Records], Alesha Dixon’s “Every Little Part of Me” [Asylum Records] and Parade’s “Louder” [EastWest Records].

Meanwhile, notable songwriting credits by Reece include “Say Yes” (Michelle Williams), “Put Your Love On” (Teyana Taylor), “Almost is Never Enough” (Ariana Grande) and “I’m in Love with a Monster” (Fifth Harmony).

As mentioned in earlier posts, David is currently working on his next studio collection, tentatively entitled “Following My Intuition.”

The keenly-anticipated LP reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins, Tre Jean-Marie, Ed Drewett, Jim Duguid, Ali Tennant, White N3rd, and Komi Hakam.

Furthermore, David has been in the studio with London-based DJ Sigala and deep house duo Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield of Blonde. It is yet to be known whether their sessions were intended for David’s project.

Craig David has recorded new material with Ed Drewett and Jim Duguid.

“Oh, it’s such a perfect day. I’m glad I spent it with these two legends!! @CraigDavid & @JimDuguid,” Drewett posted on Twitter.

On the songwriting front, Drewett is responsible for co-writing Little Mix’s “Black Magic” [Syco Music], One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” [Columbia Records] and Sinead Harnett’s “Do It Anyway” [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, notable songwriting and / or production credits by Duguid include Alex Clare’s “Too Close” [Island Records], Paolo Nutini’s “Last Request” [Atlantic Records] and Josh Kumra’s “Helicopters & Planes” [RCA Records].

David’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2010’s “Signed Sealed Delivered” is expected to be released later this year.

The still-untitled project features contributions from White N3rd (Daley, Joel Compass), Ali Tennant (Tulisa, Jessie J), Lindy Robbins (Zedd, Selena Gomez), Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Tre-Jean Marie (MNEK, Melissa Steel) and Komi Hakam (Sam Smith, Ella Henderson).

As a songwriter, David recently penned “Talking About” for Conor Maynard along with James Murray and Mustafa Omer of songwriting and production duo Mojam. The track is now available for download via iTunes.

Conor Maynard premieres music video for new single “Royalty”

Conor Maynard has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Royalty” to his official YouTube channel on Sunday (April 26, 2015).

“Royalty” was co-written and produced by fellow UK artist Labrinth, who previously teamed with Maynard on hit single “R U Crazy.”

The singer, songwriter and record producer – born Timothy McKenzie – is also responsible for Rihanna’s “Lost in Paradise” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ms. Dynamite’s “Neva Soft” [Relentless Records].

Meanwhile, Maynard is scheduled to release his second studio collection later this year under Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Contrast,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Can’t Say No” and the Ne-Yo-assisted “Turn Around.”

For the new album, Maynard has also teamed with Timbaland (Brandy, Chris Brown), Cutfather (Fleur East, Kylie Minogue), Future Cut (Ella Eyre, Olly Murs) and Mojam (Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis).

Conor Maynard has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Talking About” to his official YouTube channel on Sunday (March 01, 2015).

“Talking About” was written by Craig David along with James Murray and Mustafa Omer of Mojam, who are also responsible for Mary J. Blige’s “Long Hard Look” [Capitol Records] and James Arthur’s “Get Down” [Syco Music].

David is expected to release his next studio collection – featuring collaborations with Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins and Komi Hakam – later this year.

On the production front, Mojam have contributed to the next projects by Emeli Sande [Capitol Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI], Jess Glynne [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music] and Pia Mia [Interscope Records].

Whinnie Williams has premiered a new music video online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Stupid Things” to her official Vevo page on Monday (December 22, 2014).

The track is lifted from the artist’s mini-album, “Bad Girl,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Night Beach Records.

Production duties on “Stupid Things” were handled by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who also teamed with Williams on previous singles “Break Hearts in Your Sleep” and “You Don’t Love Me.”

In addition, Future Cut have contributed to the next projects by Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records], Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records], Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records] and Tamera Foster [Syco Music].

Becky Hill has shared the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Losing” to her official YouTube page on Monday (September 29, 2014).

“Losing” was co-written and produced by MNEK, whose credits also include Tanika’s “Bad 4 U” [Tim & Danny Music], Karen Harding’s “Say Something” [Capitol Records] and Gorgon City’s “Here for You” [Virgin EMI Records].

The highly-anticipated debut album by Hill is expected to be released later this year via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

For the still-untitled studio collection, she has teamed up with Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Jarrad Rogers (Ella Eyre, Rebecca Ferguson), Two Inch Punch (Jessie Ware, Sam Smith) and TMS (Paloma Faith, Emeli Sande).

The “Caution to the Wind” star also co-wrote songs for the upcoming projects by Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records], Little Mix [Columbia Records], Bondax [Relentless Records] and Oliver Heldens [Parlophone Records].

Labrinth has released the music video for his new single online.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer posted the visual clip for “Let it Be” to his official Vevo page on Tuesday (August 26, 2014).

The track is lifted from the artist’s upcoming sophomore album, which will be released later this year via Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music.

Labrinth’s debut studio collection, 2012’s “Electronic Earth,” peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles including the Carl Falk-helmed “Treatment” and Emeli Sande-assisted “Beneath Your Beautiful.”

British singer/songwriter Tamera Foster has drafted Chelcee Grimes and Future Cut for her upcoming debut album.

Chelcee Grimes is responsible for co-writing Tori Kelly’s “Generation” [Capitol Records], Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles” [Parlophone Records] and The Saturdays’ “Walking Through the Desert” [Polydor Records].

Meanwhile, Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut are known for producing hit singles “Please Don’t Let Me Go” by Olly Murs [Epic Records] and “Black Heart” by Stooshe [Warner Bros. Records].

Foster is expected to release her debut album later this year via Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment.

The still-untitled project will yield further contributions from Mr. Hudson (Rebecca Ferguson, Kanye West), Janee Bennett (Jess Glynne, Melissa Steel) and Al-Hakam “Komi” El-Kaubaisy (Conor Maynard, Sam Smith).

Joel Compass debuts “Girlfriends” music video

Joel Compass has debuted the music video for his new single online.

“Girlfriends” is lifted from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, “Science,” out on early 2015 via Polydor Records.

The track was written by Joel Compass along with Nicola Roberts, Miranda Cooper and Amanda Ghost, whose credits include Jordin Sparks’ “Tattoo” [RCA Records] and Beyonce’s “Beautiful Liar” [Columbia Records].

Production duties were handled by Jason Pebworth, George Astasio and Jon Shave of The Invisible Men, who are also responsible for Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” [Island Records] and Conor Maynard’s “Can’t Say No” [Parlophone Records].

“Girlfriends” follows previous single “Forgive Me,” which debuted at number thirty four on the UK Singles Chart.
